Situated in Lake Ariel, this charming house for $382 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. Our wonderful house with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The Hideout Community. Registration required for access to this gated community. Property Manager will email registration form to primary renter. You have seasonal access to the lake, swimming, lounging on the beach. Boat rentals are available for kayaks, paddle boards, paddle boats, row boats and canoeing. The Hideout has a 9-hole Golf Course, Ski Hill, New Sports Complex, Basketball Courts, Baseball Fields, Tennis Courts, ceramics, 2 outdoor pools, 2 Beaches, Mini Golf course. Fishing in the lake (license required) For information on Hideout Amenities go to www.hideoutassoc.com. Things to do outside The Hideout The Hideout Claws and Paws animal park, Zip-lining, Water Parks, breweries, casinos, wineries, golf courses, skiing. Additional information at www.poconomountains.com and www.visitwaynecounty.com The House Lower floor: family room with gas stove, large Smart TV, washer and dryer, bedroom, bathroom, pullout sleep sofa, oversize chair and ottoman...all furniture is new. Main floor: Living room, Smart TV, reclining couch and reclining chair, air conditioning, eat-in kitchen with new stainless-steel appliances, coffee maker, Keurig, toaster, kitchen table seating up to 8, countertop digital air fryer oven. Kitchen comes fully stocked with cooking, eating utensils and place settings. All furniture in the living room and kitchen is new. Main Floor: Two bedrooms each with queen bed and dressers. Each room has air conditioning and an overhead fan. Bathroom. All furniture is new. Bathroom located on main floor. Loft: 1 Bedroom with queen bed, dresser and overhead fan. Queen pullout couch in sitting area. Desk work area. Front Deck: Picnic table and chairs. Gas grill You are provided with 6 guest passes from the community for amenities. The house has Wi-Fi... Things that are not included: Please bring your own Linens (Sheets, pillowcases for beds and Towels are NOT provided. Linen package can be purchased for additional fee). Paper goods like Napkins, Paper towels and toilet paper are limited. Please plan to bring your own. Food and drinks also are not supplied. There is a Weis Supermarket 3.3 miles away in the town of Hamlin. Three Dollar General Stores located within a few miles of Hideout Main gate. Note: We are pet friendly with regard to dogs only and will allow up to two in the home. The non-refundable pet will be $ 20 a night for one dog / $ 30 a night for two per night. At check-in Agent will review your pet situation with regard to a charge. There will be a registration form required to be filled out at least 3 days prior to your arrival for gate access. All drivers must show a valid drivers license and valid vehicle registration upon check in. There are no exceptions to this community requirement. There is a central trash facility for all owners and guests to use located within a 2 minute drive from the house. Trash is not picked up at the house and cannot be left at the house upon departure. Community can close any amenity at their discretion, including lake usage. Homeowner is not responsible for this and will not offer any discounts or refunds for any closure, includes weather related closures.

The place is great. Comfortable beds, enough space to be together without being on top of one another. We had a good time. Theres so much to do inside the hideout. We played golf, and fished. Next time we'll take a boat, or kayak out.

House was very nice, with only issues spotty internet and a mercurial house key/lock. Amenities inside the gated community were nice, but it would have been helpful if the house had some beach chairs since they don’t rent them at the beach. Restaurants and grocery store were conveniently located. First time staying in a gated community, and it exceeded my expectations.

This is a beautiful, quiet property with first class amenities. Our 7 adults, a 2 year old and a dog fit nicely. Maureen the host is perfect, and The Hideout is a family-centered resort with every amenity imaginable. No loud parties, pot smoke or thumping stereos here. Just smiles and laughter.

The house holds heat wonderfully (nice since it got very cold this weekend) And there's a lot of little things the owner leaves for you that one may forget in the scramble of packing for vacation. There were plenty of spices, trash bags, cleaning supplies, and utensils to cook with. The showers were very nice as well with great water pressure (which is something I tend to find other vacation homes lacking) Overall a very nice property In a beautiful and quiet community.

Property and house was great. Clean and not cluttered with a ton of decor. Plenty of space for the 5 of us. Kitchen was fully stocked with all the tools (maybe just add a skillet). Each room has a separate AC/fan and heater so each room can be climate controlled. Wish the Hideout itself had better information on how the amenities worked and what was and was not open, IE: kayak rental window said “were open” but they actually closed Labor Day weekend.

It was an extended family gathering of 10. We all agreed that this house served us very well during our visit! It is very clean & well stocked to meet all your basic needs. Even though the home is small, it is VERY accommodating! The space is tight, but very well laid out. The furniture is mostly new, stylish, comfy and functional. Lots of nice decorative details that add to the charm of this Lake House. Great outdoor deck furniture (also appears to be new) in both the front and back of the house including two separate high tables w/ chairs. There is also a gas powered fire pit in the center of the table on the back deck. It's great for making S'mores, bonus! Only a few minor suggestions: They could use some more hooks for towels in both bathrooms (shower towels) and bedrooms (beach towels/clothes). A few more kitchen towels would be useful too. It would also be nice if they would supply hand soap and tissues.

The house was perfect for our family. There are multiple floors with bedrooms so the kids were able to spread out. House was very clean and had plenty of blankets. Kitchen was fully stocked as well..

Cozy lake house getaway, super clean!

This house was absolutely spotless. You can see the property was just updated and the interior looked brand new. We had 4 adults and 3 teens in our group and we had plenty of room. My son really enjoyed staying in the spacious loft. The new pergola and gas fire table on the back deck was a really nice plus. The house was fully stocked for when we cooked and BBQ’d. This was our second time staying at the Hideout and we couldn’t be more pleased. Look forward to returning.
