Nestled in Lake Ariel, this charming chalet for $451 per night is a great option for your next vacation. The house has 5 bdrms. on three levels. 3rd Floor- Master Bdm. with King size bed, and one bedroom with two twins, and one large master bathroom. The Main Floor has 2 bedrooms. One has a queen size bed and other has bunk beds and one full size bed. One full bath on that floor. First Floor has one bedroom with queen size bed, one full bath, a full size pull out couch and a deck. The house has 26 foot ceilings on the main level with a gas fireplace. There are also a combo Heat/AC units on the main level lower level and in of the 4 bedrooms. The kitchen is open concept equipped with everything you need to make your own meals if you desire. Off of the living area on the main level is a comfy sunroom great for relaxing. There is free wifi and a wii game console for your convenience. The lower level of the house has two large areas - for relaxing, watching TV and playing games which include darts, foosball, and ping pong. There are three decks at the house, a gas grill and outdoor table and chairs. The Hideout is a four star gated community and has many amenities - Two pools, two areas to enjoy the large lake ( the one in walking distance to our home) a 9 hole golf course, Club house to eat lunch and dinner, and a brand new full recreation center with indoor tennis, gym, game room, salon, library and all purpose room for movie viewing. We have a art center and a ski hill with a chair lift, tubing and lessons and rentals available. There is outdoor dining and a tiki bar at the main lodge.

Our family of 8 adults and 4 kids (under 10) enjoyed our stay at the Hideout. There was plenty of room for everyone and the cabin was well supplied. The host went out of his way to make sure we enjoyed ourselves.

This house was absolutely perfect for our friends to get together with everyone’s families. We all have little ones and it could not have been more perfect. Everything was clean and we had the perfect amount of space. Our host John was very responsive and made sure to check in to see if everything was running smoothly. We will be booking again!

The house is very spacious and well-maintained with modern amenities. We have stayed here several times and would recommend it for a family get together. The house has a very comfortable feel and is located in an area that is very quiet. The owner is extremely accommodating and responsive to any requests. We had a wonderful time at the hideout. The home was perfect. There were 9 of us staying and plenty of room for all. Our host John stayed in touch with me the first couple days to be see if we needed anything. The lake was minutes away and the kids loved it. The kitchen had everything needed for our stay. John was a great host. Would definitely recommend. Rich

My 3 girlfriends and I have been taking our 9 kids to the poconos for 12 years. This was our first time staying in The Hideout. John’s home is the cleanest and most well stocked home we have rented. The amount of space was perfect for our large group and the lower level is huge! Great for the kids to hang out and have fun. John is a great host, answers questions quickly, checks in with you to make sure all is ok. The community is clean and well maintained. So much to do. We enjoyed the main beach and pool most. Everything about our trip was so great, we’ve already booked next year at John’s home!

We had such a great time. John was considerate and friendly through the whole process. He was always accessible. The house was perfect. It had plenty of room for the 9 of us, for sleeping as well as community space. It was fully equipped with everything we needed. Unfortunately, the weather was not in our favor and we did not get to participate in the activities the community had to offer, so I can not comment on that part of our trip. Thank you

We had an amazing week in the Poconos! The house is absolutely beautiful and bid enough for 12 of us. We were very happy and can’t wait to go back. John checked in with us a couple times to make sure all was well. Checking in and checking out were very easy. Thanks John!!!!

We definitely enjoyed our stay, There was plenty of laughter, reminiscing, having fun with the grandkids. Fit all of us in comfortably, nice open concept. Beautiful, even the owners wife left up the Christmas decorations up for us. Our time here was just amazing. Walked a trail here, mainly hung out at the house . Thank you John

Last year we were booked to stay here and something happened and we had to leave. This year we were able to stay the entire time and every day was amazing. This property is great for large groups. The kids loved the game area on the lower level. John was very responsive to any questions and graciously accommodated a last minute change. Definitely recommend.

We stayed for a 16th birthday get together for my daughter. Everyone loved the place and had a good time in this cozy cozy home. It is so well stocked with things you might need. The outside is so nice and peaceful. There's so much to do and our host left a well detailed binder which is very helpful. We came in the fall but there is so much to do in the summer. We would go again in the summer.

We had a great family trip here! This place had the best basement for kid’s we’ve ever stayed in - a huge amount of toys, books, etc. It was clean, nicely furnished, great kitchen and supplies, and the owner was exceptionally welcoming and communicative. We had fun at the lake and pool (pool was a bit cold for the adults but the kids had fun). One of the people in our group who is sensitive to smells had an issue with the basement, but not the rest of us. And just a note that there are a couple of skylights in bedrooms, so lots of light. We wholeheartedly recommend this place!

Once again this year, we enjoyed a refreshing week at the Hideout. There is something for everyone in the family. Grandpa likes to go fishing. The grandchildren like the lake beach and the swimming pool. Family members like hiking, fishing and kayaking on the lakes. The home is well equipped and comfortable. The ping pong table, foosball table, games and toys were a plus for the kids. John, the owner, is quick to respond to any communication. The location is close to the marina and other amenities. Check in was easy at the front gate. We enjoyed the July 4th fireworks display over the marina. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a family vacation. We anticipate returning again next year.

This home and location provided the perfect place for our family of five adult children, my wife & I, and her parents to spend time together. The arrangement of bedrooms and baths provided privacy and accommodates singles and couples. The steps to the main floor are rather steep, but doable for all of us. There's plenty of space to gather as one group or spread out for different activities. We enjoyed playing ping pong and relaxing on the porch. The Hideout has lots of activities to choose from. We used the grill and ate all of our meals at the house. Check in was simple. House was clean. John was friendly and helpful and responded to all of our questions quickly.

What a beautiful house John and Linda have in the Poconos ! We were a group of 11 adults celebrating a birthday, pictures don’t even do it justice . Huge great room , great kitchen which was fully supplied with things to cook , plenty of beds to sleep in , great downstairs w ping pong darts , games etc , beds were comfortable and everything was super clean . Showers were great with plenty of hot water and pressure , Communication W John and Linda was exceptional , always relplied quickly . It was just a great experience in a lovely house Highly recommend and hope to come back again ! If I could give more stars I would !!
