The house was plenty large for our party of 9 (ages 18-70). It was built in the 1940’s and I loved to imagine its history. The stairs to the attic room and basement are VERY steep (as they were decades ago) so fair warning for older and younger guests. There are also only 2 mirrors in the whole house (one in each bathroom) which was difficult when we had 4 women trying to get ready around the same time. Back patio/deck and stairs are in need of repair. It was a great space to hang out w a group. There is a pop a shot basketball hoop in the basement that my teenage boys (and 4” something husband and brother) loved.

The house is a replica of how past generations lived. It was wonderful to be reminded of how windows were made and how staircases were very narrow going up and down and how floors creaked. Our stay was pleasant. I wouldn't suggest that people will knee troubles or young children stay here. There are too many ups and downs and the noise level would be difficult. The owner has done wonderful things to it: updated kitchen, bathrooms etc. there was some issues with cleaning, towels, that he compensated for. The kitchen is sparse but it challenged us to be creative in how we prepared meals. The location of the property to the airport, Kentucky Derby, Louisville Slubber Museum and the Frazier Museum was wonderful.

Loved our stay! House located in quiet neighborhood, plenty of room for our family of 7& close drive to attractions, restaurants and grocery stores. Owner very kind and quick to respond. Would definitely stay here again!

We did not spend much time in the house over the 4 nights we stayed but it had what we needed. The location of the house is great, easy to get to everywhere we were going. I would not hesitate to stay there again if I was in Louisville.

We enjoyed our stay - the only complaint we had was that the kitchen wasn't really stocked very well, and there weren't a lot of pans or other cooking implements.

Check in was prompt and precise. The location was quite with direct drives to destination areas. The property manager was hands on when needed. The house was well split to hold multiple people with a outdoor group area. The air cooling system needs an upgrade but the property manager is working towards an upgraded cooling system. Kitchen was mid size with a large dinning area. Kitchen wear could have been set for larger stays or larger portions but the set up was nice. Rooms were spacious and spaced well enough for privacy and only a steps away for connecting to others in the house. In all I gave it a five star.

- upstairs was hot. We had to buy a fan. A window air conditioner would be nice.
- kitchen could use some more accessories.
- overall we were very pleased with the property.

Awesome home
We had a fabulous time staying there! The home is huge and close to alot of places! We can't wait to go back. Communication was great also. Thanks for a wonderful time!

The place was very spacious, clean and recently renovated home. It was a short drive to the downtown Louisville area. There was plenty to do and many restaurants a short drive from the property. My family and I enjoyed our time!

This property was comfortable for space, beds, and location. It is minimal. It is freshly remodeled. Could use some furniture on the back enclosed deck and some landscaping. It was nice it had a washer and dryer and iron. Thank you for the stay.

We were in town for a competition and hotels only allow 4 people per room so we decided to get a house instead because it’s 6 of us! It was so nice not having to deal with traffic and elevators! We were able to use Uber eat and plenty of restaurants, bars and our favorite food trucks just down the road! We were just a few miles away from the Expo center! Definitely recommend if you have a family & like your own space.
