About this house rental
Night Heron offers privacy while still being close to all of the amenities that Sea Pines has to offer. The main floor features a fully equipped kitchen, living and dining room, Master Bedroom & Bath plus the Guest Bedroom and 2nd bath also located on the main floor. On the second floor there is a loft which has two twin beds, ideal for kids looking to have there own space. It is accessed by a spiral staircase. The deck features a fantastic view of the lagoon and trees surrounding the cottage. Take advantage of all that Sea Pines has to offer! the beach is only a 5 minute walk, 3 championship golf courses including Harbour Town Golf Links - site of the PGA's RBC Heritage Golf Classic. In addition there bike trails, shops & restaurants plus the famous Harbour Town Lighthouse. Walk, Bike or Drive through Sea Pines and you can explore some of the best sights on Hilton Head. The activities include, Lawton Horse Stables, Sea Pines Forest Preserve with over 600 acres, South Beach Marina, Harbour Town Marina, and The Sea Pines Beach Club just to name a few. The house was lovely with everything we could need. We loved watching the alligators from the balcony! It was a short walk to the beach and also to Sea Pines Preserve. It was very quiet and peaceful there. Very pleased!

Stayed here for four days. Great location. Walkable to beach. easy exit to the rest of Hilton head. Small space, but readily fit the five of us. Would definitely rent again.

Place was a great location in Sea Pines, beautiful view of Laguna from balcony. Saw alligators, turtles, Herons, from balcony too. Place was clean and kitchen was very well stocked with cookware etc. Very comfortable place!

Photos and description are accurate. Nice & clean, but nothing fancy, which minimizes cost. A smaller free-standing home overlooking lagoon with resident alligators, snapping turtles &, of course, herons (completely safe & fun to observe). On a quiet street just steps from a community pool, but also fairly close to Sea Pines gate (good or bad, depending on personal preferences). House is 4-5 minutes from beach by bicycle, but closer to 8-10 minutes by foot. Seashore Vacations, the property manager, was very helpful. Would rent again.

Enjoyed the space, kitchen is well stocked for cooking.
Only suggestion is to either replace the mattress in master bedroom or add a soft mattress topper. It was so uncomfortable.

Clean, accommodating, well stocked kitchen with everything you could need (missed the crab boil pot they used to have - was missing this year and we didn’t bring ours because there used to be one there). Matress in the master could definitely use a topper as it was a little hard (mattress in other bedroom off kitchen was much better but I wasn’t giving up the master to the kids!). Otherwise perfect- couldn’t ask for more and can’t wait to return.

We have stayed at this location 2 times a year for 8 years and it’s been a great location. And have enjoyed this unit however it seems this time the unit could use a fresh update . Looking a little warn all over. There was a little mold on the ceiling in master room that needs to be addressed but definitely would stay again if that was handled .

The VRBO ad suggested the property was in VERY close proximity to the beach. It was not. It was a short bike ride or a 5 minute walk. This was a bit of a surprise and a disappointment. Otherwise, the house was excellent, and the agency was helpful.

This was my family's third trip to Hilton Head Island for vacation and this year didn't disappoint. The vacation rental location is great...near Coligny Plaza; the pool steps away and directly across from the rental. The beach is a 5 minute walk away. Just remember to bring your beach cart to carry all of your beach items.
The inside of the rental had everything that we needed. Renters should bring extra pillow cases in case they want to use the extra pillows provided. Renter may also want to bring an extra blanket or two, however extra blankets are provided. Sheets were provided and clean, however I did notice a stain on a sheet when we arrived.
Beyond the above, my only major concern during my stay had to do with see a few bugs in the property.
We saw a few roaches crawling throughout the property. Not a lot, but enough to be concerned about them getting into our luggage and items.
My recommendation for the mgmt company would be to exterminate before the next renters take possession. You certainly don't want to bring any extra company home with you.

Decent house with the bare minimums. House could use a few items like extra pillows, blankets, throws, pots, pans, more silverware. Better toiletries. BIGGER bed in the master and better layout in the bathrooms. You can barely use the 2nd bath b/c of the location of the toilet. Overall we had a great trip. Its right across from the pool so you can keep up with your kids fairly easy. Location to the beach is perfect. We love that about this location. Watch out for the alligators. Apparently people feed them and they were a smidge aggressive with my husband.
