Nestled in Surfside Beach, this lovely house for $742 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. This house began with our grandfathers love of the ocean and a dream of owning a house at the beach to share with family. Now, after many years his legacy has been passed down to us. We are so excited to have been able to completely renovate our beach house to accommodate our growing family and to keep his memory and dream alive. With the renovations we have designed a new house that is bright and open with all new appliances, furniture with plenty of space to spread out. We are located first row with spectacular views of the ocean. With less than a 3-minute walk to the nearest public beach entrance it is conveniently located to take a walk on the beach to enjoy fabulous sunrises. Not only are we in a secure gated community but Oceanside Village also offers great amenities. It has 3 pools, including an indoor heated pool and a great children's pool with a splash area. There is also tennis, pickle ball, volleyball, playground, basketball and bocce ball courts. Plenty of things to keep your family entertained. The Ocean is literally across the street which can be seen from inside the house and deck. When the sun gets to be too much, we are a short walk back to our large, covered porch where you can rest and still enjoy the ocean views in the shade. We also have an outdoor shower to wash off the sand when you come back from the beach. Rates include all bed linens and bath towels. We also provide cleaning and laundry at your departure, so all you have to do is pack when leaving. We do not provide beach or pool towels. Please bring towels for the beach and pools. We love to cook so our kitchen is fully equipped with all the utensils you could need. The house has a keypad entry, so you don't have the hassle of dealing with keys. The large covered front porch is our favorite spot, which is basically another room. It is a perfect spot for your morning coffee, or just hanging out. It is also a great place to comfortably watch fireworks without having to go down to the beach. Our kitchen with a large island is wide open and makes it easy to prepare a meal with plenty of cabinet space. We also have a large dining room table inside and a table on the deck if additional seating is needed. We have 3 bedrooms with queen beds, the fourth bedroom, small, but has a 2 sets of twin bunk beds, this room is perfect for kids. Each bedroom has a smart Tv and an individual wall unit so you can adjust the temperature separately from the other rooms. We have 2 full baths. One with a tub and the other with a walk-in shower. There is a large laundry room with a washer and dryer. The Living room has a sofa, love seat, and comfortable chair to enjoy the ocean views. The living room also has a smart 70-inch television, and secure wireless internet. There is an additional exit and entrance to Oceanside Village just across from the Conch Cafe and Oceanside's private beach parking lot. A key card can be easily rented at the main office in Oceanside for $20. They will refund you $10 when you return the card at the end of your visit. A key card is needed to access Oceanside's private beach parking lot. The Garden City Pier is just one mile south, and the Surfside Pier is one mile north. Both areas have great restaurants, fishing, and activities for the family. Oceanside Village is conveniently located in Surfside Beach, close to Myrtle Beach's airport. Just a short drive to the seafood capital of the south, Murrells Inlet, with great restaurants. If you grow tired of the beach, we are also close to Market Common's, Myrtle Beach's boardwalk, and Broadway on the Beach. Myrtle Beach is also known as a golf destination with plenty of golf courses, par 3's, Top Golf and many miniature golf courses. There are also 2 water parks, a flea market, restaurants, and shopping nearby. Golf carts may be rented by the day or the entire week from the Oceanside Village office. We adhere to a minimum age requirement of 25 years, due to insurance and community restrictions. No uncompanioned individual or groups under the age of 25 are allowed. We have added security with a camera located outside. Seven-night minimum stay required during June, July and August. No pets or smoking allowed.

We had a wonderful stay in Surfside Beach. The house was clean, nicely renovated, and spacious. The air conditioning was much appreciated during the extremely hot weather we experienced during our stay. The house was decorated so nicely and had a great beachy feel to it. The walk to the beach was an efficient 3 minutes, and the beach itself was stunning!! Beautiful, clean sand and shallow, warm waters (in August). The outdoor shower was super convenient to clean off after an afternoon in the sand. The outdoor deck was great for hanging out in the evening, we enjoyed the outdoor fan and the comfortable seating in this area. The house was conveniently located to all amenities - grocery stores, gas stations, fast food places, etc. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great place for a beach vacation.

Our family had a wonderful time this past week. House was very conveniently located to the beach. Our family loved the back porch area - very relaxing! House was very clean and perfectly stocked in the kitchen. Only recommendation for kitchen would be to add a couple of wine glasses. We rented two golf carts for our family, however, they cannot leave the Oceanside Village neighborhood (except for private parking for beach across the street - we were aware of that ahead of time but that beach was very crowded due to the summer season). It ended up being easier for our family to walk a short distance in the other direction - for a much less crowded beach experience (and where we could use our canopy tent). Kids enjoyed nightly golf cart rides around the neighborhood so the cart rentals were still useful/fun for the kids. Overall, great location, friendly hosts, well stocked rental that is very nicely decorated/very comfortable. Highly recommend.

The unit was perfect for us! It has everything we need to keep everyone entertained. The proximity to the beach was perfect and the ability to rent a golf cart. Make life easy and the 17-year-olds really love driving around. We would definitely come back another year.

We had an amazing first week of summer at Al's Place! It was the perfect size and location for our group. The house was clean, nicely decorated, and well equipped with all of our needs. Owner was very responsive as well! We would definitely choose this spot again!

This home is beautifully done in many ways! Everything was new or relatively new, clean, and thoughtfully prepared for guests. Kitchen has all you need, they have a selection of toys for kids and games for families, plenty of towels, and even the layout of the house was great for early risers to get coffee and sit on the fantastic deck without bothering others. The covered deck was such a blessing - good shade and terrific view of a window of ocean which other houses on that street do not have. Just a great place! And super nice owner!

Awesome location. Great views of ocean. Watched the sunrise on the last morning from the deck. Great communication from owner. Very clean and kitchen was very well stocked with everything you need and more. Very comfortable and plenty of room for everyone. If you are in the area during November and December make sure you check out Brookgreen’s Nights of a Thousand Candles. It was amazing.

The property owner was very nice and super easy to communicate with! We also were able to check in EARLY and that is phenomenal especially for a big family like mine after driving through the night from PA. The house was perfect with everything you could ask for. Super easy access to the beach (across the street) and extremely easy and fun after we rented a golf cart! I would highly recommend this place for a stay!

The home was beautifully renovated and exceeded our expectations. It’s was very clean and had everything we needed. The kitchen was fully stocked with every appliance we could want. The beds were the most comfortable i’ve ever slept in at any rental home/hotel I’ve ever stayed at!! Everything was as advertised in the listing. The community was wonderful and our kids loved zipping around on golf carts. It is extremely close to the beach and very close to restaurants and amenities. The homeowner was extremely responsive when we reached out and very helpful. Definitely highly recommend staying at Al’s Place!!!

The house was absolutely beautiful. Great location and amenities. The booking was very easy and communication was excellent! Would definitely recommend this property to everyone. We had 8 adults, one 8 yr old and a 14 month old and were very comfortable! We would for sure stay there again! Just loved it!

We always take a family vacation for a week with children and grandchildren. Chose to go to surfside this year over the 4th of July. Very nice, secure gated community with pool, splash pad and other games to play. This home located on Lark Street was perfect location right across from the beach with an ocean view and seen the best fireworks up and down the beach right from the deck! Literally only took a few minutes to walk to the beach but we did rent a golf cart from Oceanside resort. The only negative thing I would say about staying at this house is that you cannot take the golf cart anywhere else besides the private beach access and in the gated community. The house was beautifully decorated and nicely designed to accommodate our family. The entire process from booking to check in and checking out was extremely simple!

We were able to sleep all ten of us very comfortably. The host were very quick to respond if we had any questions. Kitchen is fully equipped so no need to bring anything from home :) Great views. Easy walk to the beach. We enjoyed our evenings sitting the porch!! We hope to book again soon!
