We arrived after driving 10 hours to find several issues:
1. The door code would not unlock the door as the deadbolt was locked. I called the 800 number, and the customer service person from an overseas call center gave me a lockbox code. After that did not work in 5 below zero weather, I called again. A different customer service person gave me a new lockbox number, which worked. Inside the lockbox were two sets of keys totaling ten keys. I had to figure out how to use two keys at a time. Thirty minutes later, we get in.
2. We try to watch TV, and the default checkout app prompts us. After inputting the data, it would not connect. We had to unplug the TV twice, then unplug the box and reset the Wi-Fi.
3. The fridge was not cold and took 1 hour to cool.
4. Advertising with fireplace, and there is was a note stating do not use.
5. Shower water is either scalding hot or cold.
I reached out to customer service via chat. After several minutes, I was disconnected. I then sent an email with a summary and images. Two days later, the customer service rep requested the pictures be re-sent. A day later, before check out, I inquired about my request for compensation. As of today, no response.
Not the best experience.

We enjoyed this homely apartment during our ski vacation in Vail. A nice place to come over to after ski days, making dinners and watching movies.
pros:
- A good location, 5 minutes drive from the slops.
- Organized well with a fully equipped kitchen, leaving room with a big TV, two bedrooms at the second floor, two restrooms, a bathroom, laundry machine and a dryer.
- Very clean.
- A great property management tool and support via Vacasa App.
The reason for deducting a star is the following flaws that will hopefully be fix for the next guest:
- The check in process wasn’t smooth - a wrong front door combination was provided and the owner did not respond, so we ended up calling Vacasa support to get in.
- The bath faucet doesn't functioning well and it is very challenging to set the right temperature.
- Although a fully equipped kitchen, the utensils are very basic, and coffee pods will be greatly appreciated.
- Some missing vertical slides on the sliding door does not provide a great privacy.

The property was perfect for our group's needs. We wanted a place to stay near the mountain (a short bus ride away-- be sure to check the schedule) for all day skiing. The location was easy to find and close enough for us to come back to take our dog outside. We got a great deal for the area and will be looking to visit again!

Good location. Vail ski resort and grocery store within one mile. Safe area. Pet friendly.

Fix & flip on the cheap. Unit itself is "just ok" - gets the job done for a short trip. Furniture & kitchen appliances/utensils are all fairly cheap. For a short stay that is not that big of a deal, but for a longer stay it wears on you.

Great location and spectacular views! Convenient location from condo to the bus stop.

The condo was clean, great location (close to bus stop) and comfortable. We followed check in directions & registered car - absolutely no problems at all with parking. We loved our stay! Kitchen had everything we needed & we loved that we could bring our golden retriever with us. Thanks for letting us stay at your place!

The rental was average with the cleanliness when we arrived. Additionally, there wasn't a parking pass. We contacted vacasa, they said they would bring it right over but it never arrived. I asked what we should do to avoid getting towed and they asked for us to "make a sign" for the car. The sheets were not the highest quality. Per the checkout process, we took the sheets off of the beds to put them in the laundry to discover there was previous "nicer" bedding in the laundry that had not been washed yet. It made you wonder how well the place was cleaned in between stays. Additionally, they ask for you to start the dish washer but there wasn't detergent. As you know with the checkout process, the vacasa fee is more than the rental fee, at least for our stay. I am not sure they are doing the best job managing the property.

We loved how the bus to vail village was so easily accesible. It was a quick walk across the parking lot to a short set of stairs and the bus stop is right there. It’s too bad the bus doesn’t run more regularly but I recommend you check the schedule ahead of time. The Airbnb was clean, and the perfect entertaining space with the kitchen and open dining room with a nice long dining table. The reason this place isn’t 5 stars is because the fireplace was broken, like the glass piece was sitting on the ground, so it was inaccesible. The parking was unfortunate because there is only one spot so the other guest had to part a mile away, though thankfully Sandstone parking is free - if you can even get a spot! Finally, the decor is admittedly not in good taste. I hate to complain about it but part of your stay is that the space is “instagrammable” and this space is not. For the price and location though, it’s worth a short stay!

This condo is spacious and has 2 bedrooms that can sleep 7 comfortably. Vail transit system picks up close to condo which is very helpful.
Communication about parking permit was an issue. My vehicle got booted the first night which cost me $140 which caused a bad vibe for our first day for skiing. I was concerned about this issue from previous reviews which I addressed before booking. They finally gave me an online parking reservation through Simply Permits and I had no more issues afterward. Vacasa did re-imburse my $140.
They do need to give better communication about the parking permits before the guests arrive to avoid this continuous problem.
