We loved the jacuzzi tub and all the amenities in the room

We are grateful for the upgrade at the desk, after hearing it was a 42 year anniversary.
We thought the coffee maker was complicated, and rendered either espresso or Americano, neither of which we care for. A Keurig would have been more suitable. We have resolved to bring our own coffee maker in the future.

Steve and Aaron in the bar exceptional. The lady at the front desk. I believe her name is Kate Katie. She is awesome too. Appreciate the friendliness and good service.

What a wonderful welcome we had. Right down to the doggie treats. Cozy nights stay in frigid Bellingham.

Perfect getaway!
Delicious food, every dish!

Nice waterfront location with great walking paths and many good, walkable dining options. Rooms are clean. In house dining is only mediocre and very high priced.

Beautiful place.

Staff was very pleasant. Beautiful location on the water with nice views. You can hear the train drive by each day so if you’re a light sleeper it will wake you up.

The staff was friendly and personable. We very much enjoyed the free parking in a secure garage . The room was very comfortable, and my husband and I slept well. Our only draw back was the Nespresso machine. We are coffee drinkers and it was very hard to find any coffee on the premise. Unless you were in the restaurant. We would have rather had a Keurig or a small coffee maker.

Great location on Bellingham waterfront

The property is located next to a homeless shelter and 20 minute plus hike to old town. View was of a parking garage with homeless people hanging out in the alley. Could not acces fitness facility. Pool on terrace was a “wading pool”. Upcharges were crazy. Overall cost came to $400 plus per night. Clean room and building in good shape but location is terrible and a long walk to old town.

The Bellwether is a great place to stay in Bellingham, WA. Right on the harbor with views. Quiet. Friendly staff. It’s outside of town, so if you want to be in the center without driving or walking a mile or so, choose a different hotel. Fairhaven, nearby, is a must visit.

Enjoyable stay. Staff and location was excellent. Pet friendly room was a little pet worn for the price of the room and extra 50.00 for the dachshund. Staff and location will bring us back though.

Very glad I chose Hotel Bellwether for an in-person reunion with a dear friend after 4 years of Zooming...our room was spacious and well-appointed, with a balcony overlooking the bay and marina. Every staff member we encountered was courteous and friendly, and Ryan at the front desk was especially helpful.
Our meals in the hotel's restaurant were high quality, well-prepared, and beautifully presented. Their crab cakes are the best I've ever eaten, and the Rosemary gin and tonic cocktail was yummy.
I highly recommend this hotel.
