Location is great, love that they supply chairs and towels for the beach. Great room on the second floor with ocean view. The gentleman that checked us in, maybe the owner was super friendly and helpful. I will definitely return and also recommend this property

A beautiful location and views made even better by the friendly owner and staff. The room was very clean and spacious, with a walking path to the beach just steps away. Loved our stay here and will most certainly be back in the near future. It was our first time in Montauk but we felt right at home thanks to the Hartmans’ Briney Breezes!

It was very noisy middle of night upstair at 12am and we found dead bug on the bed. Very disappointed this place .

Had a wonderful time and the room was cozy with a balcony and partial views over the ocean. It’s a wonderful place and it’s close enough to everything walking distance. We’d definitely stay there again!

On the plus side, the beach is nice and just two minutes away. The rooms are clean and the staff is friendly. On the minus side, this is basically a motel. The rooms look onto a large parking lot with a small swimming pool and some patches of grass. There is no restaurant and no cafe, and no atmosphere. So, it's incredibly expensive for what it is. For those rates, I would expect a view and some charm.

Comfortable room with a balcony and ocean view. A bit of a hike from town, but that also meant fewer people on the beach. Would definitely return.

Owner actively manages property and is very receptive to requests. Literally across the street from a very peaceful part of the Montauk Beachfront. Only issue is that this part of Montauk is a tad bit far from the main spots.

Great, great family vacation to close out the summer. Location can’t be beat, right across the road from nearly private beach. Awesome ocean views from every room, well- maintained heated pool, lawn games and BBQs on the grounds. Would definitely stay again!

Just came back from a family vacation at Hartman's Briney Breezes and had a great stay! The owners were so accommodating to our family. If you forgot to bring something, they can provide it or help you find it nearby. Had an awesome time at Hartman's and will definitely be back if ever vacationing in Montauk, NY again. There are other hotels nearby that you can pay more but don't have a great location or not as accommodating as Hartman's. I was a little anxious that it was a motel but after staying at Hartman's I have no regrets.

Loved staying at this property. I went with 3 friends (4 of us in total), the room was spacious, very comfortable and clean. Check in was easy and everyone was very friendly. Loved the private beach access + towels and chairs to bring with you! Quick 3 minute uber ride to downtown Montauk. Will absolutely stay here again.

Loved this hotel. Beach Chairs and towels are available to take to the private beach which is located right across the street. Great pool and newly renovated rooms. The owner is fantastic as well.
