Very well located and beautifully furnished apartment with large bathroom and shower. Not ideal for those with mobility problems as hundreds of steps up from main street (like many other such properties) but otherwise highly recommended.

The room at the Vivaldi was lovely and the air conditioning worked well which was important because we were there in a heat wave. The caretaker, Luka, was very helpful and allowed us to check in early. He was responsive to all of our questions. There is no front desk here so they won’t store your luggage for you.
Old Town Dubrovnik is a very cool and beautiful city but the important thing to know is that there are a lot of steps, and I mean a lot!!! The Vivaldi sits towards the top of the wall but all the stores and restaurants are at the bottom. At the end of an evening you need to climb back up MANY flights of steps without a railing to get back to your room. I am 59 years old and relatively fit but it was a strenuous climb up often a few times a day depending on what we were doing. I think it’s important to know that when booking this hotel or any room in Old Town.

Will be back - very nice apartment with most convenient access from Buža gate (stairs are a must if coming from the shops and restaurants on main streets). Helpful communication and tips from Luka, thank you!
