A great stay in Tahoe City! Conveniently located and across the street from the beach. If you want a Lake view, request floor 6 or 7.

Great views. Walls are super thin. Great location. Wish the pool was accessible. Even a hot tub would be great. Overall good experience for price.

It is OK for being an older hotel. However, my room on the 4th floor had an annoying humming noise akin to a constantly running water pump. I had to use ear plugs to sleep.

Staff was super friendly and did a contactless check in and check out! They made sure we go into our room because we arrive late. The scary thing was the basement parking because the parking lot is 1st come, 1st served. Room was ok, very stiff bed but hot water when showering. Doesn’t have an elevator to the basement so if you have a big suitcase you will be bringing them up to the 1st floor up the stairs! But overall we had a wonderful time and we loved the staff

I love this hotel for its view and location and the staff and management are great. Unfortunately, it is older and does need some upgrading which I understand will be happening soon but it's still a great place and good value for the money considering its location.

Great Central location.
Walk to several Tahoe city restaurants.
Rosie's is a great dining option. 3 meals/day.

I can't believe I paid $260 to spend one night at this dilapidated motel (a motel that passes itself of as an "inn" to lure suckers like me). The room was clean and the woman working at the office when I checked in was very pleasant and friendly, but the room was TINY and very dated. The mattress had no support. There was no way to control the temperature in the room, and the air was blowing into the room - loudly - all night. There was no parking available (I had to park on the street a few blocks away and walk back). There are NO amenities available (no breakfast, gym, pool, etc). Shame on this establishment for charging such an exorbitant rate for truly sup-par lodgings.

Cool view from the tower. Goid price for a ski weekend.

We stayed a Tuesday/ Wednesday night in January 2023. There was a blizzard that night and stayed in one of the 7th floor rooms. Snow drifts accumulated at our door. Heater which is right next to the bed was effective and we had great hot showers in am. Excellent proximity to Tahoe Cities best offering, and walkway along lake. Clean. Limited front desk hours. This hotel needs a renovation. If I stay again - I’ll try one of the rooms not in the 7 story highrise.

Easy in and out and great location/views!

Situated right in the heart of Tahoe City, this older, but well-kept property was easy walking distance to several fantastic restaurants, bars and shops. And a stone's throw from the lake itself. We were situated on the 7th floor of the tower and the views from the top were spectacular. As I mentioned, the property is older, but it is well kept and the beds are very comfortable. The check-in/check-out process was very easy, as much of it is done automatically via text. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to a return trip, perhaps in the summer so we can try the ice cream shop across the street (it was a bit too cold during the winter for ice cream).

Overall you get what you pay for.
Generally this hotel is convenient to places. We stayed at the 5th floor which gives you a view to the lake. It has a fridge and microwave so you can make something quick.
It's walkable to Safeway and CVS, there are also some restaurants across the street.
The room is quite small for 2 double beds, the shower is outdated. No change of towel/bedsheet service.

Great location to stay at for a affordable price near Palisades.

Stay was okay, room was decently clean. It did feel overpriced for the fact that there was a weird stain on the floor, stained towels, missing backing of the TV remote and the fact that there was no toilet paper in the room so I couldn't relieve myself for half an hour while I waited for them to bring me tp. The parking garage and the surrounding stairwells were pretty dirty also, I felt uncomfortable leaving my car downstairs in their garage.
The location is great in relation to palisades and the little downtown area.
I would stay here again in a pinch but it's definitely not my first choice.

Had small issue with a buzzing in the room. The Manager gave us another room. Great Customer Service.

We were there at off season, so the desk was open at odd hours. You could not get ice.

Room was ok. It was smaller than most two double rooms.

The room did not have any airflow. We had to open the window and set up a fan. Overall, it is a great location. If you are going g to be out and about all day, it is an affordable place to sleep. Be careful if you take the exterior stairs, they are crumbling.

I been staying at this hotel several times. Great location and beautiful view to Lake Tahoe but check in was very disappointed.
Front desk service representative Heather was very rude, unprofessional and so arrogant.
As soon as I walked in she asked if I check in, my name and requested my DL and credit card without any smile.
I asked her if I can have a highest floor?
With her anger voice of tone she said NO, you reserved standard double beds, and it’s only on 1 and 2 floor.I been at this hotel before and always reserved 2 double beds and stayed on 6 floor room 605 without any problem.
Heather started to show her negative attitude (whisper Jesus Christ) and said I only have 3-rd floor room 305 and you have to pay $25 more.
We paid $25 and get in to the room.
I stayed in many other hotels at the North shore of Lake Tahoe and never experienced such an rude, unprofessional and unpleasant service of check in. She ruined my good feeling to enjoy my evening by the beautiful Lake Tahoe.
I hope the owner of this hotel will take an action and educate his employees how to provide welcoming service to his clients.
This service was unacceptable!

Caltrans works through the night on CA-28 and Pepper Tree Inn is on ca-28. Cut my ankle twice on a protruding metal part of the bed--felt like a piece of iron.

This is our second stay at the Pepper Tree and if we stay again it will be based on the price and location.

great view from the 6th floor, great locatiom! Bathroom felt very clean. But room smelled like spaghettios and skunk weed :-(

I have trouble climbing stairs, the handicapped parking is as far away from the elevator as possible. Clearly no thought was put into the positing of the handicap parking.

Nice place to stay with plenty of dining and shopping options near by 👍

The rooms need some serious renovation. Everything was old and falling apart. The ventilation system made a squiggly noise that could t be stopped. Not worth the money.
