We been staying at PostMarc for several years now. It's our go to place when we're in South Lake Tahoe. The rooms are always clean, spacious and who can forget those MASSIVE jacuzzi bath-tubs. If you are looking for a quiet, safe, romantic place to spend time with your loved ones, I highly recommend PostMarc Hotel and Spa.

There was vomit under the sink and none of the outlets by the bed worked. When I checked out, they wouldn’t or couldn’t give me a receipt.

We could hear the next room putting on the jacuzzi tub. Our jacuzzi tub was so loud we couldn’t hear the tv. The pictures on hotels.com are very deceptive.

You get what you pay for at this hotel. We were happy with bed but everything else needs help. Bathroom shower fixture was broken which caused the bathroom floor to be flooded. ADA room is cramped.

So this is a great location. Not too far from the strip in South Lake Tahoe. They have incredible bathrooms in some of the rooms... HOWEVER... the place maybe updated but it is done very poorly. It is clean... but not super clean. The door to the shower was not put on right... tiles were not put in correctly.. and there were on wall fixtures missing as well. Look it is a place to stay... I would put this at a three star total place.

We booked two days but had to leave after one. No fault of the hotel. The staff was great and accommodating. The room was clean and nice but needs remodeled, there were old mounts on the wall, while removed and patched, hadn't been repainted, also had parts of the wall were paint had worn thru from chairs and tables being against it. Water pressure for the in-room spa was really low and took a very long time to fill, close to a hour I think. Definitely not what we expected for the price.

First, the down sides. I did not find the mattress to be comfortable (kind of firm and springy). The bed and spa are a small step up from the rest of the room. That's fine, but they have a safety light so that people do not trip. Also there was another light in the room that I did not know how to turn off. I need darkness to sleep, so these things made it more difficult. Also I found the room to be quite noisy with machine sounds. I think the heating system, and maybe I was near a laundry? On the up side, it's a very reasonable price and the jacuzzi tub is nice. I also appreciated having a microwave, coffee, and small fridge in the room. I found it to be quite clean overall. The bedding was very clean, and the down comforter was luxurious and warm. It's close to Heavenly, the casinos, and restaurants and shops, so convenience is also good here.

This is my second stat at the Postmarc and overall it was a good stay. The room was very comfy and clean. The night staff who checked us in though was not friendly and honestly seemed "off". I had to pointedly tell him we were checking in, because he just silently stared at us as we waited at the counter. When he asked where I parked, and I told him just out front in the handicap space, he went into a long spill about how those spots are only for people who absolutely need it. I assured him we had a handicap placard. It felt very accusatory, just because a person doesn't appear handicapped, doesn't mean they aren't. It also doesn't give you a right to question them. Suffice to say I was not impressed with this member of the staff. Everyone else though was EXTREMELY nice and the stay was wonderful. I would still recommend this place.

Great stay overall, the staff was courteous and check-in was a breeze. The rooms are nice, good size and nice layout. The furniture seems a bit outdated and the rooms could use some TLC, nightstands seemed to have some water damage or normal wear and tear, the wall in our restroom seemed to have been repaired but it was a poor job (very noticeable), and the carpets could use a deep cleaning. Our night was quiet and we were able to do a late check-out the following day (we also checked in early about an hour the previous day).

Staff weren’t very professional or friendly. Door was extremely hard to open. The room is older and run down. The cabinets were broken, hair in the towels, and the bed is not very comfortable. If you just need somewhere somewhat clean and safe it’s fine. But I wouldn’t stay here again due to the aging and lack of interest for repairs.

Room door didn’t lock properly, and door into building was supposed to be card key accessed, but wasn’t locked. There was a hole in the ceiling in front of our room. Hair on the floor in the bathroom, and stained couch. Bed was also very uncomfortable.

I usually stay at the casino hotels when I’m in Tahoe but I wanted to change things up and I am glad I did. This hotel is great. It is away from the main attractions so it’s less busy and still walkable to spots I wanted to go to. The room was spacious and comfortable, had some things here and there that were broken but didn’t bother me too much. I stayed during a time where a couple were fighting, screaming at 6am, which was awful but not the hotels fault. (You would see that more at casino hotels) I assumed they got kicked out. I would 100 percent keep coming back when I go to South Lake Tahoe, thank you.
