Room was great for the price, outside door didnt want to lock so that was a bit concerning. And locking our room door was a little tough, but may be from the temperature change. Over would stay there again, and the view was great.

TJ front desk clerk was great. He called us to verify late checkin so we didn’t get marked as no-shows. When we got there at midnight he was friendly and welcoming. The bed was comfortable and the premade egg omelettes in the morning were good. We had a simple overnight stay.

When we first got there we were greeted very politely by the person at the front desk. The people who work there are fantastic &have great attitudes. I asked for a Rm that would accommodate my disabilities w/a service dog &NO stairs. I was put into a different building at the very end unit farthest away from the main building &there were stairs I had to go up without railings as they had been removed. The front door does not close at all. So all night long the cold air consumed the hallway which in turn also continued to come into my room as the Gap under the door is at least an inch if not higher therefore concerning me that rodents may even come in because they're going to come inside to someplace warm. Fortunately I did not have that experience but the concern was definitely there. We walked all the way to the room and found that the key cards did not work so my husband had to go back all the way to the front desk in the other building to get the key cards& at that time they switched us to the very last unit in that hallway of the other building. I don't know what the reasoning was for that except all I know is that we could not get into the original room we were to be in. When I walked in the smell was horrific. If I could record smell & post it for you I would. The smell was wet, mildewy, moldy& so strong I almost didn't want to stay but my husband said we were going to stay. I have Asthma & have been sick since I left there. I attribute it to the Moldy, Wet, Mildew Rm.

Got in late, and front desk was great with getting us checked in. Enjoyed that there was a balcony. Would stay here again.

First room was terrible. Dried blood on the light switch to the bathroom, jimmy John’s rappers and garbage by the chair. We switched rooms without a hassle. Was not charged any extra. Second room was ok. Some cobwebs and spiders in the bathroom. Other than that it was fine.

Friendly front desk, easy check-in & out. Dog friendly, clean rooms. We lived our drive up room, especially in a snowstorm. We'll stay here again.

Although the hotel is in a beautiful spot, it could definitely use an upgrade. You also hear EVERYTHING in this hotel! We could hear people outside, people in the stairwells and people while we were in our room. If you are looking for a quiet place to relax, you will want to look somewhere else.

There was no food for breakfast even though we were told it would be available from 7:00-10:00 am. Thank goodness the coffee was good! But we were told that a continental breakfast was included with our rooms, so it was very disappointing to not have anything.

I judge every hotel by the smell… this place was just clean.. no chemical smell. Just clean.. Front desk staff was super friendly. This is our first visit to our college freshman granddaughter.. it will be our got hotel widen we visir

It was decent. We were provided with a place to rest our heads, but I was even uncertain about crawling in the sheets. I feel the price should have been less but the view was great, so there’s that. We also forgot about the continental breakfast because we were in the “annex” building, which by the way did not securely lock. Also uncertain why there were ash trays placed on the premises if we were advised to be off the premises for any kind of smoking.

Property needs to be renovated. Very old and in poor condition. Beds and bathrooms need upgrades. Staff was very courteous and friendly. They were very helpful. Would not stay there again unless remodeled

Didn’t see that the hotel was pet friendly in the ad. Many dogs, mostly well behaved, but there were barkers.

The hotel was clean and the room was spacious. The breakfast was very poor. The only choice of food/drink was three cereals, waffle and coffee (not even orange juice). There was no maple sauce for the waffle only butter. We had to end up buying breakfast in advance to eat at the hotel.

Overall, it was good. The young woman who was working the front desk the evening we arrived was excellent. The young man who was there in the morning, however, was more interested in his phone than making sure the breakfast area was maintained. Tables were not cleared, eggs and juice were not refilled, etc. The only other negative was the vanity light was at eye level for me and I am 5’4”. Weird. I would stay here again, though, and recommend it to others. It was a good value for the price. It was clean, quiet, and the beds were comfortable. That’s what matters most!

I emailed you yesterday explaining I had called the property Sunday afternoon and canceled the reservation and then notified you of the same. I traveled way beyond that motel and let them know it in plenty of time. It was impossible to get that accomplished in your sites.

The man checking us in was apparently born with marbles in his mouth...couldn't understand what he was saying. The property was nice, on Lake Michigan, with a great view from our room (we booked it that way). There was a common patio area on the lake, with some benches. We went to this area but were driven away by a man smoking pot. Yuck. Not our thing. Otherwise, the stay was good. Oh, breakfast was lame. No fruit, no yogurt, no oatmeal. Nothing healthy. And most everything was gone and we were up early and eating at 730 ish. I don't eat many carbs, and it was all carbs.

Overall, this a a good place to stay. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room was clean and everything worked. It does need a bit of an update, however, and the chipped tub could be replaced. I would stay again.
