The staff were welcoming and made an effort to be warm and friendly.
The hotel was nice and everything was presented well. The room was clean with a comfortable bed.
My only complaints are:
1. The bathroom floor was dirty. I spilt something and used a tissue to wipe it up. The tissue was filthy and showed it hadn’t been cleaned for a while. There were also lots of splashed water marks on the tiles.
2. Above the toilet, there was a strip of white painted wood, going across the wall. This strip was very dirty and it was obvious it hadn’t been cleaned for a while. It had a thick dusty coating with yellow marks in the groove against the wall. I had to clean it because I did not want to look at it throughout my stay. I had to put a bit of pressure on whilst cleaning the yellow marks.
3. The shower had half a door. As a result, I flooded the bathroom the first time I used it. During the showers after, I kept turning the shower on and off while I was using it, so the water would not build up and I could drain it out.
Having said all that, would I stay here again… yes! A lovely hotel with seating outside, a good location and friendly staff. I wasn’t uncomfortable in the room, but their bathroom cleaning needs some attention.
