We stayed in the loft suite and it was quite nice. The bedroom is upstairs but the stairs are carpeted and easy to navigate in the middle of the night. Spacious patio. 16' windows. All in all a very grand and impressive room! Very good value for the money. Parking was free! Which we did not expect. Bed exceptionally comfy Only negative would be the TV whch was incomprehensible. We didnt eat breakfast (not free) there. They have no bar or restaurant so best to go somewhere else for food.

The hotel was fabulous. We stayed for three nights and our room was gorgeous and so comfortable. We also used the pool and hot tub. The location of this hotel is great and the service was fabulous.

My stay was amazing start to finish it was super smooth process checking in, very accommodating, received free upgrade with hotels.com gold! Customer service was very friendly the entire time we were there housekeeping checked in multiple times a day to see if we needed anything. Gym & sauna facilities were nice to be honest hotel blu really impressed would definitely come again!

Our stay at hotel Blu was excellent, it’s in a convenient location downtown, the staff were friendly and accommodating and the facilities were clean and well thought out. My husband and I will definitely be staying at hotel Blu again in the future!

Very nice boutique hotel in a fantastic area, especially if you're going to an event at Rogers Arena or BC Place. Very clean and the staff are lovely. Only complaint is that the mattress was too soft and leaned towards the middle - probably need a new one in room 326.

This hotel is great for the cost/location and is a perfectly safe, comfortable hotel to stay in. However, having stayed their now a number of times, check-in and/of check-out can take an overly long time.

Nice basic property. I was in town for one night on business so it was perfect. Location great. However even though it’s a vip Expedia hotel etc there was no upgrade or early check in option. However front desk did speed up the process and i was given a room after an hour and a half. No restaurant in the hotel so had to go elsewhere to wait and eat. Overall a nice hotel in a great location and perfect for the price point.

It was more or less a place to lay our heads after a hockey game. The hotel was nice. It was clean, but there was very little else. I could say there was no continental breakfast in the morning and you had to pay for breakfast on site if you were willing to.

This hotel is very nice and facilities are great. I didn't give 5 stars because of 2 inconveniences. In our room right side of the bed on the wall was a shabby metal cover that won't fully close. Covering the heater/air con....the noise coming from this sounded like a loud fridge running continuously. Also above the master bed on the gold headboard there's serious paint wear and tear showing. Coming back from the pool, in wet suites and bathrobes we were locked out of our room. Our cards no longer worked. My partner had to go down to the front lobby in his bathrobe. The male front desk clerk gave no explanation or apology for the inconvenience.

Pros: - Location is fantastic. Right in the middle of Vancouver; between Yale Town (closer) & Gas Town. 1 min walk to BC place. - really comfy bed & clean room - modern rooms - hot tub & sauna very nice (& pool area in general) Cons: - Noise: - thin doors, can hear people in halls easily. - can also hear people in next room - furnace noisy w/ clicking sounds every time it turns on/off - pool a little on the cold side (but not unbearable) Overall: wouldn’t stay again due to how easy it is to hear others in the hallways
