The studio floor is very dirty I had underage children and I wiped the whole place with wet wipes

The building is very secure. Only guests and tennants have access with secure key. Parking is also secure garage and you can walk or use Lyft to go to the convention center. This listing will cost you considerably less than the big convention center hotels. This room is clean and has everything you need with more space than a hotel. Wifi was excellent. I couldn't get the tv to work so it may not have local or national channels - only streaming. We would stay here again.

Very convenient location for attending events in Vancouver. Close to lots of restaurants and grocery. Easy walking distance to Downtown, Gastown, China town, Science World, catch an Aquabus to Granville Island, . Overall this was a great place to stay. Building is very quiet and secure. There is a noticeable homeless presence but no one bothered us and we were out quite late and walked everywhere. Excellent communication with host.

Bottom line up front: the neighborhood has many homeless and drug addicts in the streets. We even witnessed someone “shooting up”. That being said you can ignore them and they won't bother you. The studio apartment itself is modern and nicely furnished. The location is convenient to gastown and walking distance to nice restaurants, bars, and shopping. Since this is a new VRBO, the owner needs to do some maintenance work and better prepping. However, the owner did respond to questions and problems. The garbage disposal did not work and the top rack of the dishwasher needs to be repaired. Lights above the bed and shower are out. There was no TP in the bathroom or anywhere in the apartment. The toilet seat was not attached to the toilet. The refrigerator is not attached to a water line so no filtered water or ice. A guide to the neighborhood would be nice. Tip: when you are first buzzed in, go straight to the elevator and go to the apartment floor, otherwise the elevator will not take you there until you get the key fob, and you will need to start the process all over again. All things considered, we would not stay here again and based on the neighborhood, we would avoid anywhere Hastings Street and south.

The condo was very good slept like a rock! Think it should be said in the listing that it is on the corner of W Hastings street and has a lot of homeless people around als that the daycare of them is in the same street! I was aware of that but people from abroad could be afraid and intimidated by that! The security of the building was very well

I personally would not stay here again. It’s a beautiful and clean property on the inside but there’s lot of other things to consider. This was one of the worst neighborhoods in Vancouver. Many many druggies everywhere around the property and the entrance. You must rent a car if you want to stay here as it’s too dangerous to walk around. The sofa bed was terribly uncomfortable and dirty. The parking only accommodates a small car which is an important thing to list in the listing. The host doesn’t answer phone calls. And the last part was the front door lock is an electronic lock, which the owner can remotely lock and unlock. In the middle of the night the door would automatically unlock several times, and since it was a scary neighborhood this was especially terrifying. I am not sure if it is the owner or a glitch but around 2-5am it would just automatically unlock and then relock sometimes. Overall the property was clean except the sofa bed. However for the price you can find better. The check in and check out instructions were also not very clear or accurate. I do not appreciate the owner not answering their phone. You can’t walk anywhere outside you must drive, and there is only one key and fob so if you are going with someone else you can’t go out separately.

The place was nice and clean. However, the a/c unit didn’t work. I sent several messages and didn’t get satisfactory resolution.

The place was clean and cozy, I was glad to have AC during the hot weather. Proximity to Chinatown and other places was good but we didn't go out late due to the number of homeless in the area.

Wonderful home. Clean and well appointed. Parking was a great plus. Near many restaurants and stores.

The condo was very clean and had everything we needed. The building and parking garage were secured. The location around the condo had quite a few homeless people making it sketchy to walk around at night. We made sure to get back to the condo before it got dark. The property manager responded to our texts extremely quickly and we appreciated that very much. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay and visit to Vancouver.

Property manager was very hands on and accommodating! Neighborhood was a little sketchy at night, but you just have to be cautious and smart. Wonderful Condo!

Property was clean and comfortable furnished with all necessary accessories. Building Residents were friendly and helpful. Easy walking distance to city center, markets, China Town and Costco. However noticeable homeless population nearby made walking at night a challenge. All in all I’d book again.
