Relax tucked into nature or make the quick drive to Wimberley, micro brews, Texas wine and swimming holes. Minutes away from Canyon Lake, rivers, Schlitterbahn and a sky full of stars. Non smoking house, but good porch space for coffee and a smoke outside if it suites you. Property is suitable for well behaved adults, children and pets. 2 Master bedrooms with attached baths. Each with king beds and all bathroom amenities. Fully equipped kitchenette (no oven), Internet, Wi-Fi, Smart TV. Owner is on the property and will see to any issues that arise.

This house was great. I took my Mom for her 80th birthday and we each had our own room and oversized bathroom. It was clean, decorated well and had all the amenities we needed. The porch was nice. A gas fire pit would be awesome on the porch in the cooler weather. My only ask might be some TV instructions. We tried to find local or basic channels (ABC, NBC) but never could find them on the Guide and when we did try to watch a show, it prompted us to log in, for example, to Pluto. Definitely did not impact our stay. Would recommend for a Wimberley weekend as the house was only about 5 miles from Wimberley Square. We also had a late lunch at The Leaning Pear which I highly recommend.

Amazing stay! Did a girls trip with 4 friends and absolutely loved it from the moment we walked in. Super clean, big open space, beds were super comfy, bathrooms were big! Lots of mirrors to all get ready! If you are going out there, you won’t regret booking here!!!

We were in the area for a weekend of wedding festivities and stayed here. Loved being able to bring our dogs. The place is new, clean and private. It was the perfect place to stay and relax. The location provides easy access to Wimberley, San Marcos, and Canyon Lake. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you David for sharing your cottage with us.

Perfect setting for weekend getaway with cousin and sister-in-law. Off the main road in a country setting but close to restaurants and shopping. Bedrooms and bathrooms are very spacious and included all the amenities we needed for a fun relaxing visit. Host David is very communicative and responsive. Would definitely stay here again!

This place exceeded our expectation. It had everything we needed and more. The back porch overlooks the wooded are and at night it is so enjoyable just listening to the sounds of nature. We will definitely be staying here again.

My mom and I came to the area for a girls weekend. The cottage was very clean, beds were comfortable and the bathroom space was great! The location was about 10-20 minutes from the river, wineries and even zip lining! The property is gated so we felt safe the entire trip. The cottage itself is very secluded and private. I would recommend bringing a fan as there aren’t any ceiling fans, but the AC works great.

Great experience but only issue was that there were too many insects inside and outside. Didn't make us want to hang out outside in the mornings for coffee or in the evenings for dinner.

The property was absolutely perfect for our ladies wine weekend. The house was perfectly setup for a weekend getaway. After the day out, we loved coming back to sit on the back porch and enjoy all the sounds of nature.
The beds were comfortable. The bathrooms spacious. Would definitely stay there again.

We can HIGHLY recommend this cottage for your trip to Wimberly! We take a mother/daughter trip every summer and this place was perfect! Secluded yet close to everything we needed. House is very clean and cute as a button!!!

If you want a comfortable home with beautiful scenery near Wimberly…this is the place you are going to want to stay. Clean clean clean! Beds were comfy and had a great place to sit with your morning coffee. The host was friendly and communicated well. Don’t miss out on this property. I will stay here again!!!! The Cottage was a great Spring Break getaway stay for our family including two teens and a dog, close to Wimberly and San Marcos.
The accommodations were quite comfortable (two king size bedroom and full baths, open kitchen/living room with spillover to the porch for eating and hanging out) well appointed, modern, and secure.
The Cottage is set off from the main house in a way that provides a sense of woodsy seclusion.
Our hosts were responsive to all inquiries and communicated in advance everything we needed to know for a turnkey stay.

The cottage is in a great location, within minutes of San Marcos, Canyon Lake, Wimberly. It is clean, well organized and set in the midst of the oaks of the hills. It feels secluded, even though it really isn't, and very peaceful. The floor plan is well thought out, the bedrooms and bathrooms are very roomy, the kitchen has all the needs of a vacation rental. Great place and we highly recommend it!
