The Rockaway House is a one bedroom, one bathroom, fully renovated unit of a duplex property. The Living Room: - Ceiling fan with remote control - Wall-mounted smart TV with access to Netflix, YouTubeTV, and Amazon Prime streaming media content - Books and card games - Large windows throughout the home let in natural light and the ocean breeze - Queen size air bed available upon request The Kitchen: - Refrigerator, gas stove and oven, microwave, dishwasher - Cookware, glassware, dinnerware and utensils - Toaster, food processor, slow cooker and other kitchen gadgets - Keurig coffee maker with complimentary K-cup pods, sugar and coffee creamer - Welcome snacks and beverages The Bedroom: - Queen sized bed with memory foam mattress and pillows - Ceiling mounted, industrial closet rod and wood hangers - Two collapsible luggage stands - Ceiling fan with remote control - Mini Split AC/heating can cool or heat the unit The Bathroom: - Walk-in shower with rain shower head and jet sprays (it’s awesome) - Complimentary shampoo, conditioner and body wash - Complimentary towel use - Hair dryer Parking: - One parking space in a shared two-car garage, accessed by numeric key pad. - The space is 17 feet long so some trucks or large SUVs may not fit - You can also charge your EV or hybrid car! We can provide a charger rated to 3.3kW (Level 2) Other Amenities: - High-speed, wireless internet - Private entrance with security gate and lock - Local area information and guidebooks - Outdoor hose for rinsing off after the beach - Complimentary laundry use (washer and dryer are located in the garage) - Beach blankets, beach chairs, boogie boards and sand toys available on request - Kids are welcome! Infant/toddler pack & play, high chair and portable bath tub available on request - STR-09830L • • Instagram: @arrivls Prior to arrival, guests will be given detailed check in instructions with photos and a code to open the garage door and lockbox. Guests may use the garage for parking, laundry use and to access beach gear and cleaning supplies. The unit is located above the garage and is accessed via a private, gated staircase. Please note that this is not a handicapped friendly property, nor suitable for those with limited mobility due to the stairs. There is no elevator on site. Self check in is available via key lockbox. I can be reached anytime via the booking app and will respond promptly. The Rockaway House is located in the laid-back neighborhood of Mission Beach. Tucked away on a small court, it is just 4 houses from the boardwalk and a short walk away from restaurants, shopping and nightlife. Garage parking and laundry available. The San Diego MTS "#8" bus has a stop within 2 minutes walk of the house. The northbound service goes to Pacific Beach. The southbound service connects to the Old Town Transit Center where you can access the Trolley, Coaster, or other Bus Routes. Uber and Lyft are usually quick and reliable options, and taxis are also available. San Diego has recently introduced several electric bike and scooter sharing services. You can see their locations and pay to use them via app from several vendors. Lime Bike has bikes, electric bikes, and scooters. Ofo and MoBike have bikes. Bird has electric scooters only. With all of these options, you don't really need a car in Mission Beach unless you plan to see other sights in greater San Diego.

We absolutely love the location of this VRBO. 1 minute to the ocean and 2 minutes to the bay side. Many great restaurants a short walk from the condo. The condo itself is as described. The communication between Keeley and I was really quick. It was so nice having the beach chairs and umbrella available to us at all times. The bed was super comfy and so many pillow types to choice from which was amazing. We will definitely stay here again!

I think the property's location and details are accurately described and depicted in the online listing. The property is on the south side of Mission Beach which is quieter than other areas of MB. My school age son enjoyed the beach and people watching on the boardwalk. We were within walking distance of lots of local eateries.

While the pictures of this unit are legit they are very deceiving. First off I booked this specific place because it has AC and laundry. *Technically* both were there, but the laundry was shared, which the listing did not say. There’s a portable AC unit, but it in no way cools off the entire place (it was 82 degrees inside at one point.). The unit is microscopic. There were two of us and we had no place to put our luggage or try to get ready. The bathroom fixtures were either covered in soap scum or oxidized and not sure what’s in the corners of the shower either. The place did not seem well maintained. It’s also in a not so great area and there are a LOT of bugs. Needless to say we left and went somewhere else. Also if you have any vehicle bigger than a car it will barely fit and if it does it will block the shared laundry.

This property was great for myself and two children. The garage space ( deep garage) fit my Toyota Highlander. Most other vehicles stuck out of their spaces. Having a garage is a huge benefit in this area as parking is limited!

I truly want to stay here every time I visit, the location is amazing, walking distance from EVERYTHING. I felt safe with all the doors and locks, I loved that I could park my car in a garage and not on the street. The house was so clean and set up so cute, if I would have stayed longer I would have loved to cook in that stunning kitchen. Truly can’t say enough good things!

My sister and I wanted a fun getaway close to the beach and able to explore the city easily. This place was PERFECT! A two second walk to both the ocean and bay beaches and so close to many cute restaurants and delicious food!! One thing we didn’t realize that it was the top floor of the house but it truly was perfect once we figured that out! Thanks for a great stay in a beautiful city!
