Ptarmigan Village is a highly sought-after resort community nestled just over half way up Big Mountain (Whitefish Mountain Resort) and just minutes from downtown Whitefish, Montana. With 1,255 square feet spread across three levels, You`ll love the cozy living room with a comfortable sofa, wood-burning fireplace, and a flat-screen TV. It`s the perfect place to wind down after your adventures! The sofa does convert into a sleeper for one or two additional people if needed making it the perfect getaway for 2-4 people.  Also located on the main floor is an updated bathroom. One of the highlights of this property sits its large deck with outdoor dining and a propane BBQ. On the lower level you'll find two bedrooms and a bathroom. Both bedrooms are spacious and feature queen size beds. The stairs leading to the different levels of this condo are spiral. Located in the loft area above the living room leads to an additional sleeping area which contains a full-sized bed and one twin sized bed.  During the winter season, Ptarmigan Village offers a shuttle service to Whitefish Mountain Resort for a small fee. Parking is free and available for a maximum of two vehicles; If you have any oversized vehicles such as Motorcycles, trailers and RV`s or need additional parking options for extra vehicles the Village does have room in our oversized parking areas. The greater Whitefish area has some of the best golfing, water sports, fishing, whitewater rafting, festivals and is the gateway to Glacier National Park.  Pets are not permitted in any of the Ptarmigan Rental properties during short-term rental stays.  Service dogs are permitted with notification and completion of proper paperwork prior to making the reservation. Montana does not recognize Emotional Support Animals as service animals, property owners are not required to accept ESA documentation.  Guests traveling with ESA or Service animals are directed to call the Ptarmigan Rentals office to inquire.
