About this apartment rental
Hi! I’m Anastasia, a graphic designer by trade who’s reinvented myself as a host alongside my husband, Saverio. Dimora Acanto embodies everything I love: the coziness of a homey nook, attention to detail, and being immersed in an atmosphere that’s both elegant and simple. I was born and raised just a stone’s throw from Acanto, and I still live here. For any advice, requests, or needs, feel free to contact me!
Acanto is located on the western edge of Murat, a historic neighborhood designed during the governorship of Joachim Murat in the Napoleonic era. The Murat district stretches from the train station to the coast, and together with the Old Town, it forms the heart of the city. The classic grid-like layout is home to shops, restaurants, bars, artisan workshops, and grocery stores that can satisfy every kind of desire. Turning onto Via Crisanzio toward the train station, you’ll pass the University of Bari, cross Piazza Umberto, and reach Via Sparano: the street of boutiques and a favorite stroll for Bari’s families. At the end of Via Sparano, you’ll reach the beautiful Corso Vittorio Emanuele, the gateway to Bari Vecchia and the waterfront. Walking down Via Crisanzio in the opposite direction, you’ll enter Libertà, a working-class neighborhood rich in local folklore.
