Unfortunately, our experience at your cottage was very disappointing. As soon as we arrived, we planned to do a load of laundry and discovered that the dryer was full of freshly dried bedding that was still warm. We therefore had to fold the laundry ourselves before we could use the appliances, which felt a bit surreal as paying guests. In several areas throughout the house, there were numerous long, black hairs on the floor along the walls, as well as dust on the woodwork. The top of the air-conditioning unit was covered in dust that appeared to have been there for quite some time. What is particularly frustrating is that you charge a $70 cleaning fee when, quite clearly, the cottage had not been properly cleaned before our arrival. In the kitchen, there were two broken chairs. My son pinched his finger underneath the seat of one of them while trying to pull the chair forward to sit down. The other chair was unstable and unsafe. The kitchen table was so sticky that we could not even rest our elbows on it. Furthermore, this kitchen furniture was not the same as the furniture shown in the photos on Booking.com, which we found misleading and disappointing. On the day of our arrival, we learned from your last-minute email that the water might have an unpleasant smell, and we found that the smell was indeed very unpleasant. You also informed us in that same email that we might not have Internet access. As it turned out, there was no Internet access at all. In this last-minute email, you also mentioned that the beach was approximately a 20-minute walk away. However, on Booking.com, the cottage is advertised as being beachfront. Why is it not clearly stated in the listing that guests must walk approximately 20 minutes to reach the beach?For all these reasons, we believe that $488 for a one-night stay is far too expensive, particularly considering that this amount included a $70 cleaning fee even though the cottage had clearly not been properly cleaned before our arrival.

La photo du salon et de la salle à manger ne correspondent pas. Le mage laissait à désirer. Le lavabo de la salle de bain était bloqué. Il n'y avait pas d'internet pendant notre séjour. La télévision ne fonctionnait pas sans internet. Le BBQ ne fonctionnait pas et les lits étaient mou.
