Easily one of the best ski rentals we have stayed at -- you can literally ski right up to the back door. The property itself has high-end finishes without being too overdone (a plus if you are travelling with young children like we did!). The kitchen is well-appointed and had everything we needed for cooking most meals throughout the week. Paul was very proactive about communicating check-in information and responded quickly when we had questions. He was also very knowledgeable when we needed a pack-n-play and both recommended a local rental and worked directly with them to make sure it got set-up and picked-up as needed. I've already recommended this place to friends and will hopefully return next year, too!

We are frequent travelers, staying in a wide range of properties through VRBO and competitors. This stay was our least favorite so far. GOOD: what a fabulous location! Best positioned place for ski-in, ski-out we've ever experienced. Plus my non-ski-ing mother could sit in the house and watch people on the slopes. Plenty of room to spread out for our mixed party of 7, lots of chairs, plenty of eating space. Everything was clean. Bathrooms were good. Easy walk to shuttles. DISAPPOINTMENTS: The keypad to access the garage (which is how to enter the house) was unreliable. Sometimes it took 5 mins+ to work. A couple of times it simply wouldn't open. The bunk room downstairs is unheated. Upon arrival, the property manager let us know we could request a portable heater. There should be a permanent source of heat in a room that sleeps four. All heat for the rest of the house is controlled by a single thermostat on the main floor. We had to sleep with the balcony door ajar to get it cool enough in the master bedroom. House sleeps 10, but has only 6 dinner plates (but 36 forks!) All dishes were extensively chipped. Pans were beaten up--one looked like it had been used to hammer in fence posts! The dishwasher was a constant pain. First time we tried to run it, it gave a clogged drain error. Fixed the next day. Next attempt, same problem! This time we figured out the fix (hold the Start button down for 3 seconds). Over time, the super-heavy dishes made the dishwasher lean forward more and more, to the point that it wasn't usable by our last day. The welcome email says renters must to do a full inventory within the first 3 hours of arrival. Given that there is no list of what is in the house, how can we know what's not there? The email says to bring dish/laundry/hand soap, toilet paper beyond 2-per-bathroom, kitchen towel, and even trash bags! Logistically challenging when arriving by train or plane, and absurd when paying thousands of dollars to stay. In reality, all of those things were supplied anyway. There is no ski rack. And the only place to ski-in/ski-out from is the door out of the formal living area. All the smoke detectors were covered up (alarming knowing that the house next door burned down!) Overall, what could have been spectacular was disappointing, especially given the cost. Most of those things could be so easily remedied.

What a beautiful home... came here with my husband, parents, brother and his wife. We enjoyed all the mountain activities right out our door and after long days in the heat it was so nice to cool down in the A/C. Overall, a great stay and we are already planning on returning this winter.

We arrived at the house at night as it was snowing, and the property is just picturesque. Leah, the property manager, was very informative leading up to our arrival so we didn't have any problems settling in. The first floor is for the kids as it has 4 bunk beds and a small tv area. We were impressed by the first floor, until we went up to the second. Great kitchen with top of the line appliances. A tv area and a sitting area with a fireplace and a view of Chair 6 and the Chipmunk run. A door leading out to the slope allowed us to ski down to Chair 6 in the mornings and ski right back into the house at the end of the day. Very convenient. A Christmas tree was set up in the living room which added to the holiday ambience. Third floor had 3 very spacious rooms. A master and two others all with King and Queen beds. The 3 floors can be a little taxing on the legs, but the house just felt so great. I loved waking up in the mornings to the staff grooming the mountain, going down for breakfast and turning on the fireplace. Having a home allows you to have groceries which is great when the kids need snacks every other hour. We also cooked dinner and sat around the table, for meals, as a family. You just can't do these things at a hotel. Not to mention the amount of space, the house was enormous. We had an issue with the refrigerator, but no worries, Leah took care of the problem immediately and was always available by email or text. In all, the house was amazing and helped create a wonderful vacation for the family. I would 100% recommend the house, and Leah, to any friends or family, and would definitely stay there again.

This place was simply perfect. Plenty of space and exquisite furnishings throughout. The proximity of being right on the mountain and just a few minutes to downtown Whitefish makes this place the ideal spot. I love being here in the Summer but I can only imagine it in the Winter. I never realized how wonderful the weather is here in the Summer. There is nothing like opening the windows at night to enjoy the cool evening and listening to nature. So much to do on the mountain that I spent most of my trip exploring. I will be definitely be back!!

I was only partially happy with this choice of a vacation retreat. Although the home was big enough for the number of people in our party there were things that I was totally disappointed about . One was the fact that there isn't air even though in the property notes it stated there is. The owner bought fans for each bedroom but the master bedroom is upstairs and it never cooled off even with the windows opened at night. It was very difficult to get a decent nights sleep the whole week. The main floor did cool off if you kept all the windows open at night if there was a breeze . The grill that was provided was a big joke,it was the size of a grill that you would take camping .we never used it . It wasn't big enough to do a couple of burgers at a time . When I asked the Agent about it she said , she would ask the owner about buying one . Of course he wouldn't . The patio is very small and had only 2 chairs . The positives about this place is its very beautiful country, the base camp that has a restaurant ,coffee shop, and a few activities for the young and middle aged people. The town of Whitefish is close and has a lot of tourist shops. I personally would not recommend this place to anyone that prefers air conditioning or likes to grill . I know We will not be staying in this condo when we return to Mt.

Our family just loves coming to Whitefish and the mountain. We loved this house and booked it based off the beautiful photos and we were so happy when we got to the rental and it was just like it looked online. The décor is just darling and we loved that we felt we were still home even though we were on vacation. The community is nice and we were so surprised how close we were to the base lodge!! From the time to we booked until we checked out everything was so easy and a pleasant experience! We cant wait to stay in this lovely home again!! Hopefully real soon!!
