Come take a trip back in time. The Manoir de Maubert (Insolites à Chimay) welcomes you to a historic setting. Wooden ceilings with exposed beams, others with brick vaults, paneled walls, floors made of local stone or French terracotta tiles, unique fireplaces, characterful furnishings, bedrooms with castle-style alcoves, and windows with colorful stained glass. In short, this place is like no other. Yet comfort is not compromised: central heating (radiators), a wood-burning stove in the dining room, an open fireplace in the living room, a modern XXL shower, a fully equipped kitchen, a large-screen TV with all channels plus Netflix, and free Wi-Fi. A large private terrace with furniture and access to the shared garden—featuring a sauna (available for rent at €20 per hour), a Nordic hot tub at room temperature (heated depending on weather conditions between April and September), a petanque court, and a relaxation area—are all at your disposal. The Manoir is located in a very quiet and peaceful village, and our guests come here to escape the noise and stress of everyday life. We therefore make it a point of honor to respect your privacy, because even though they are set apart, our two trailers are on the same property. Whether with family or friends, come and experience relaxation and tranquility! Welcome to Rièzes, Nathalie & Marc.
Please note: a fee of €15 per night is charged for heating between November 1 and April 30.
