Worst experience on a booking so far
The location around the appartment was nice.
When we landed, i asked if we could check in earlier. This was met with a no, and that we could check in at 16:00. This was fine to us, as we were the ones who had an early flight, and they still had to clean the apartment.
After a long day of waiting, we finally were at the apartment at 16:00. We were met with a key in the door, which we found weird already. Just to be sure, we knocked on the door, and we were met with a cleaning lady. The first thing she said to us was that the room would be ready in around an hour. We were confused and tired, so we asked if there was a room where we could at least drop our belongings, and could wait and sit there. This was allowed.
The first thing you saw when you came in was sloppy furniture, dirty walls, and a weird smell overall. We were fine with this at first, because it still needed to be cleaned, so we thought that would change. ( This does not change the fact we were told check-in was at 16:00, and it was not ready at that point.)
I had to go to the bathroom during us waiting, and asked the cleaning lady where that was, at that point, i saw the back yard was filled eith eggshells, discarded food items, overgrown with weeds, and wierd funky spots everywhere.
The cleaning lady told us many times she was sorry and shell get it done quick. This was nice of her.
When i got to the bathroom, the first thing i noticed was that the bathtub was broken, the side part of it was hanging loose, and we could see into it. The second thing i noticed, was that the bathroom was covered with black mold, which is a serious health risk.
After noticing this and making photos, i returned to the room we were told to wait in.
After around 1.5 hours of waiting, we got told it was ready, the cleaning lady left, and we were free to do our thing.
We explored the apartment, back yard, and the bathroom once again. And we were shocked to find everything in there.
