About this docked boat rental

A total change of scenery. Back to the inland waterways of the 1900s, enjoy top-of-the-range comfort. Totally autonomous, this barge will enchant you with its calm and river environment. Located near Thuin, you can enhance your stay with multiple activities. In addition, if your reservation is for a minimum of 2 nights, I can offer you a sail to Thuin (subject to weather conditions).
Accommodation on a barge including a rear terrace, a front terrace, a large living room including kitchen, dining room, living room.
A bathroom with bathtub and view of the waterway.
A bedroom with 1 double bed (bow), A bedroom under the wheelhouse 2 single beds, the wheelhouse which will be transformed into a bedroom 1 double bed for 2 people (convertible sofa) Total beds 6 people maximum.
Fully equipped kitchen with microwave grill, hob, fridge, coffee machine, toaster.
A TV in the living room, a TV in the wheelhouse.
Wood stove.
Central heating.
Useful information:

Towels provided, soaps, hair dryer.
Spices, coffee, oil and vinegar, and various essential condiments. Possibility of navigation with passage of locks (information from the host)
Passenger access
All rooms are accessible to travellers, (except the 2 technical slipways).

Unusual accommodation in Lobbes on the Haute Sambre, 3 minutes from Thuin.
Lobbes: Collegiate church and its gardens, Portelette, many walks and magnificent views of the Sambre valley.
Thuin: Its belfry, its hanging gardens, the tram museum with the possibility of tourist circuits.
