It was close to Foothills Hospital, for our appointment. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Room was very nice. And the price was super affordable. We definitely received value for our money.
Can't think of anything I didn't like.

It was a good location, quiet enough and breakfast was fine. I did find it quieter the other hotels on "hotel row" near the stadium. It was obviously re-done at some point but it's past it's prime. It was fine for a one-night stopover.
This hotel is tired. It was dated, getting hard to clean properly and probably not great for a family holiday. Located on the #1 though, it's fine for a rest stop.

Beds were comfortable
Stains on the carpet, the back stairwell stank of urine.

The room was spacious and clean, and the hardwood flooring was great for our dogs. The lady at the front desk was very cheerful and helpful. And I liked that nobody without a key card could get up to the other floors.
The area wasn't safe for my teenager and I to walk our dogs once it started getting dark.

Bed and pillows were comfortable. Anne and Mary were exceptionally helpful and kind.
I didnt like that one of the house keepers told my puppy to shut up in the hallway after she walked out of a room and scared him, of course, he barked at her. She then approached me in the breakfast area and rudely said i had to leave because he wasn't allowed there. Its not a true pet friendly hotel. The first 2 stays my pup was seated beside me while I had a bagel along with 3 other dogs and their owners, and nobody bothered us. But this last visit was so different. I brought this up to the lady at the front desk saying, if I cant leave my pet alone in the room and he cant sit and wait for me in the breakfast area, how are you pet friendly? She said service dogs are allowed... ok you didnt answer my question. The man that was complaining about my pup was the manager or owner maybe? Anyways, it smelled like roach spray in the room and now I use my money at an air bnb that is truly pet friendly. Its too bad I was treated like this bcz Im in Calgary a lot.

The facilites, the room and the carpets feel dusty, dirty and cramped.

I have stayed in many many hotels worldwide, Days Inn by Wyndham Calgary is the first one with microwave oven inside my hotel room. Utilities are well prepared, including hair dryer, iron, big fridge etc.
Clean and comfortable
Noise isolation of the room is poor.
Location is a limiting factor where it is pretty far away from city center and only accessible to bus 40, whose last bus is around 7 pm evening on Saturday and Sunday

I loved that they were pet friendly. The breakfast buffet was awesome! You don’t get that with many hotels
That the pet rooms were on the third floor

Front desk clerks were very friendly and helpful..
Rooms are not very sound proof.

I forgot my chromecast in the room, after checking out I called the property to check for my stuff in the room, they checked it and found nothing. It is disappointing that if you forget something in room which will end up stolen, I can never trust the wyndham group and days inn, I am very frequent traveller, I am highly disappointed with days inn.

Location
not very clean , poor house keeping even after informing the reception the rooms were not cleaned by the house keeping.

very clean and comfortable. spacious rooms and good service.
location is a bit out of the way but close to major roads.

Clean and choice of cream cheese or peanut butter. Fresh fruit available (although bananas were very green.)
Choice is important - there were fewer protein options - most options were sugary or highly refined starches. The oatmeal was by the coffee and I missed it. Usually my first choice with fresh fruit.

Nicely renovated, great location.
Beds were cozy if you didn't sleep close to the edge.

Was easy to step outside. The rooms were quiet.
The bathrooms could use some C.L.R on the taps and drains. The floor of the shower was dirty.
