Loved the location and coziness of the B&B. Breakfast was so yummy and the host(ess) was friendly. Unfortunately, I was sick while there, but it was a great place to heal. Very comfortable and you could really sink into the place. Very calming meditative music is played in the living room at all times.
It seems the B&B is coming to the end of its years and is a bit worn for wear. I loved the retro elements, but it's clear that some improvements would need to be made to maintain it. Also, be careful with talking about politics of any kind. It's Alberta, after all, and some are prone to believing in conspiracies and adopting extreme views it seems.
Also be aware when booking that while you may get a private bathroom, it may not be ensuite.

The place was really nice and cozy, in a central position with private parking. The real value is the woman who manages the structure: she gave us a lot of advices about what to do and visit in the area, she packed our lunch and prepared an amazing breakfast. We highly recommend that place!

Traditional Canadian house at the perfect location, just a few steps from all the shops and restaurants. The host was super friendly and gave us valuable tips and suggestion for things to do and where to eat in town. The breakfast was the highlight of our stay with fresh baked, homemade muffins and jam, plus an assortment of other delicious offerings. The room was also stocked with tea, coffee and hot chocolate for anytime we liked. Highly reccomend!

I booked this B&B because of the high rating score and reasonable price. I experienced hospitality even before I arrived. My plane’s original scheduled landing was after the check-in hours. I forgot to contact the host before my departure! The delayed arrival made things worse. Karin actually initiated the conversation and asked about my whereabouts. She kindly waited for me and opened the door at a very, very late hour. Don’t make the same mistake as mine.
Karin baked fresh muffins daily. My first day was blueberry muffins. The second day was raspberry. The third day was apple. Karin offered to pack muffins and other things for lunch. Should this place be called bed, breakfast, and lunch? She actually packed food for me to eat in the airplane.
This place is quiet and yet conveniently located near the town center and wonderful restaurants. Only two minutes walk to the ski bus stop for both Sunshine and Lake Louise.
I highly recommend this place!!

The owner was very kind. The breakfast muffins were exceptionally delicious.
The bed was a semi-double size, so it felt a little cramped.

Incredible value. Karen was super attentive and flexible and provided great recommendations. Home made muffins were an unexpected treat and she provides little baggies to make yourself a lunch/snack for later in the day.
The room was very uncomfortably warm. Suggestion to not make the bed with flannel sheets in the summer please.

The breakfast is lovely and more than enough to be breakfast and lunch.
I think this is a wonderful bed and breakfast. We really enjoy our stay and have stayed more that once. I will say that I personally prefer a firmer mattress.

The host (Karin) and her amazing hospitality...
The fact that the room was cosy, comfortable and everything that is required on a trip was in that room.
Mini fridge included. I would definitely stay here again in my future visits...
Absolutely nothing.

We had a very nice stay here in the center of Banff. Everything was easily reachable by foot and free parking spots are available. We also got lots of tips regarding hikes, spots for wildlife etc. and the breakfast was delicious! We would definitely stay here again.

Great location, amazing breakfast (best muffins I’ve ever had by far), cosy and received great restaurant recommendations! Looks a lot better in real life.

Everything, especially the manager Kerrie ( forgive me if I got it wrong). She’ll try to help her guests anyway she can. For example, since I left the room earlier everyday for hiking, she brought me a muffin, orange juice, and ham-cheese sandwich everyday when I was there, she offered me her wonderful suggestions about eating places, hiking trails and so on, and she even backed my car from the parking lot for me. A very kind gentle genuine person indeed! I’ll stay there again if I go to banff!

Karin is the best host. She is extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the area and what it offers. She shares her knowledge and experience with patience. She prepares excellent breakfasts with local products and homemade muffins. The location is optimal, right next to the main street. The property is clean and cozy with a countryside decoration. The price is very reasonable for Banff. Room has the standard amenities. Couldn’t ask for more.

It was great to sleep in an original “old style” Canadian wood house!
The host was really welcoming and helpful
in giving us tips about how to make the most of our days in Banff.
The breakfast was delicious, with homemade jam and muffins.
We had only two nights unfortunately, but wished we could stay longer!
The room is nicely decorated with a “mountain” style, but itself was a bit small without not a lot of space to move around.
There was a ventilator but it was quite hot at night.

Karin is an excellent host, she made us feel very welcome and was very generous with her time. Breakfast had plenty of choice and we loved the freshly made muffins every morning. The B&B is charming and in an excellent location.
