We were extremely pleased with finding the Renaissance Inn. Location was awesome, convenient access to UMN campus. Enjoyed the nearby patio/restaurant....enjoyed it more after the band left. (Simply too loud) Parking was amazing! Breakfast was amazing. Staff was wonderful.
The TV on the stand does not really swivel so we had to be especially careful when spinning it between the sofa and the bed. The toilet in Room 218 needs to have the bolts to the floor tightened. The top drawer of the dresser falls open and I ended up bumping my leg into it during the night.
These things are minor....just wanted to share.

The building is clearly older, and the rooms reflect that. However, while the rooms
are slightly dated, ours was very comfortable and clean. The location is great for exploring the area. Close to restaurants and US Bank Stadium.

Good location.
Decent breakfast.
Inconsistent room cleaning schedules. Would prefer every day.
The front desk held a much larger sum on our credit card than the actual bill, which was unnecessary, not explained well to us, and somewhat distressing (it was a relatively long stay so the difference was substantial).
