Some hotel employees were really nice

Rooms werent prepared. The first one had gunk on the counter and the smell of pot. Second room had Gunk on the counter and pieces left over from someone in the toilet. Since I was tired I didn't report this to management and just kept the room. The smell of pot was ever present in the hallway. All of the carpets are stained. I miss the days when hotels and their employees were like families. Now most of the hotels I visit have no soul. Things to dress Sharp. Not that the hotel was at fault but we had Gale winds for 2 days and the noise literally shook everything.

We waited too long to be seated at the in house restaurant and eventually just left. It appeared to be shortstaffed possibly.

Horrible cleanliness

Stains on the bed sheets and cockroaches in the room. Hotel staff not accommodating, friendly, or concerned with state of the room.

It was ok

The carpet in our room was filthy. We expected a nicer room for the money and the shopping not shopping for a hotel like the Grand. Gnats in the Epic. However the lobby is very nice.

Perfect view less than perfect food.

The location of the hotel is perfect. Right on the boardwalk and beach. Everything else was within walking distance. The beds were comfortable. The rooms although dated were clean.

The restaurants in the hotel were mediocre at best. The drinks were water down and the food was not good at all. Definitely go outside the hotel to eat otherwise you'll be sorry. I do think the hotel should invest in renovations. The space is dated and the hallway carpet was the worse.

Clean and very nice staff

All the amenities were wonderful and the staff were helpful and kind. It was clean and started so peaceful and was just what we needed.

The second night we were kept awake with banging doors constantly (ppl going room to room) and definitely ppl smoking marijuana. Not one to complain but excessive and super late.... The indoor pool was very clean but pretty cold. The cafe is super convenient and they make a very nice ☕ and yummy milkshake......got dessert third day one was phenomenal and the other (red velvet cake was over ten dollars and was disgusting. It was super hard and stale. Breakfast was yummy...but don't go if you are in a hurry we waited over an hour for basic egg and toast breakfast and it wasn't busy at all. They also never brought toast until they brought the bill which was when we were done eating.

We love the Grand because it is truly a “one-stop shop”. it has everything we need for a great beach vaca!

The location on boardwalk and size of room are unbeatable

While the room furniture was recently updated, the carpets were not and the stains detracted from the room quality

Fun Stay

It was nice and clean. Kind and polite. Love the ocean front view. Had 2 teen boys and the father with me. We had a good time. I would 100% absolutely stay here again.

Needs to have a hot tub and updated showers. And coffee for guests as a courtesy in the lobby Nothing bad at all.
