It was a very nice place in a lovely 'countryside' area, located just 30mins from South Lake Tahoe. Very friendly staff, room was very nice and clean, with comfortable large bed. Plenty of restaurants around, though still gave us a proper 'village vibe'. This place was on located on the main road of the Gardnerville town, but we didn't hear anything from the streets at night. We visited the Lake Tahoe after spending a night in Gardnerville, it was very easily reachable, price-value of this place was really great. We appreciated the large mirror in the room, where we both fit in the morning and plenty of space in the room.
The air-conditioning was very loud, and so when we turned it on at night, we didn't have the easiest sleep. :(

The location was perfect. It was only a mile from the friends we were visiting and close to stores and restaurants.
Room had broken electrical outlets and the ones that were working were not close to where we needed them to be.

Great location. Non smoking and pet friendly.
The heater made loud noises all night long despite setting the thermostat rather low.

Friendly and helpful staff provided guidance on road conditions. Great Basque restaurants in walking distance.
Room could have better lighting, heater could be quieter.

Free donuts, coffee and tea for breakfast. Very friendly staff. Clean room. Shampoo and shower gel provided. Quiet place.
Maybe a bit expensive.

Helpful and attentive staff, central location with lots of dining nearby, comfy beds/pillows, and the morning coffee, cocoa, and donuts were a bonus. They made good coffee too, perk ya right up!
The only negative we encountered was that the floors could have been a bit cleaner. but thats really it. As another reviewer mentioned, there is a gap under the door in the accessible room. We asked for a couple of old towels, one for covering the gap and one for our wet feet (snow) so we didn't mess up the nice bath towels. They left a note in the room asking people to be mindful and request old towels for things beyond drying off a clean body; coming from a hotel background, we were happy to oblige.

Friendly staff and large rooms
the heating / cooling unit is very loud -- sounds as if standing next to a starting airplane. You can not really control the temperature. So its either on or off.

The facility is a bit dated, but clean. The check-in staff and morning breakfast person were friendly and accommodating. It is a good location if you are looking to travel, especially south on U.S. 395.
A little worn around the edges, but clean.

It's in the main street within walking g distance to food and drinks. In addition backed by a quiet neighborhood. It is quaint. Offers an expanded continental breakfast; coffee, tea, Apple juice, milk, cereal choice, fruit, oatmeal, hard-boiled eggs, and donuts.
Nothing.

needed to place a placard around the door to get service, except our room was missing the placard. the chairs in the room were very flimsy, even my wife was afraid they would break. AC unit is very loud. needs better lighting.
