The breakfast was very hearty or light per your choice.
The ambiance was inviting, warm, and well thought out.
Noreen, Chris, and Cole were especially pleasing, nice, and accommodating. Both of their chef’s are on top of their game, and the overall experience delightful.
There were times when I needed to study, but it was noisy, but I just had to wait for the bar to close. On my last night I think there was home sort of issue as I kept hearing loud banging long after closing which is 2300. It appeared to originate from the enclosed area. Unfortunately on my last morning, I was unable to enjoy a hot breakfast as I was told there was an issue with the stove. I was disappointed as I went without breakfast for several days as I had other engagements to attend. However, all I was going to get that morning were pancakes and bacon and I can get that anywhere.

I’ve stayed several times at The Bull Hotel with work and always enjoyed my stay. I find the rooms are quite quirky- one room I was in had a bath actually in the room and this latest one had a washbasin and shower actually in the room 🤣 I guess with the place being an old coaching inn they are using the space the best they can. Anyway I like it. My room this time was at the front and was quite small but was very clean, had everything I needed and the bed was very comfortable. Shower was actually very good. The food in the evening and for breakfast was very good too. Free WiFi was decent
Nothing negative to say. All good

The best hotel in Olney, will always come back to stay here when visiting family.
Room is a little noisy but that's a given with it being in the pub!

Very friendly staff and a lovely hotel.
Nothing at all not to like

Good sized room that was warm and cosy during a very cold spell. Comfortable bed and despite overlooking the main road was not noisy. All the staff were very helpful and the hotel serves good, pub food.

We have stayed here before and love the location and rooms
Not enough staff to manage the breakfast. Female manager or supervisor was openly arguing/reprimanding staff whilst customers were having breakfast. This made us uncomfortable and was very unprofessional. There clearly weren’t enough staff on duty yet the manager was blaming to staff for the poor level of service.

Our 4th visit and everything really, the rooms are fantastic every room is different. The staff are very friendly and you feel welcome not just a number in a chain hotel. Food is great ,atmosphere and as a regular hotel user other hotels could do with taking the work ethos of this hotel.

All good, liked everything

We required disability facilities that were well provided, even a special 5 foot (2m) lift to the room.
Service was exceptional, they provided everything we asked for.
I particularly liked the old 'courtyard' feeling (it's covered!).
I'd have liked marmalade on the breakfast menu.

The Bull is a lovely, quirky historic building which has been beautifully refurbished to provide very comfortable accommodation. The breakfast was excellent, very friendly helpful staff. Couldn’t fault this and superb value for money.

Staff very welcoming, friendly and efficient. Room 14 very quaint and quirky but exceptionally clean, quiet and comfortable. Location is very central with many restaurants and a couple of pubs nearby but look no further than the hotel as the ambience, food and drinks were delightful for both dinner and breakfast. The fact that the restaurant was extremely busy is a testament to the quality of the food and we received excellent service.
Pity we could only stay for one night but next time we will stay for longer. As we say in Lancashire = Nowt wrong - all good.

The hotel is attractively appointed and full of character.
The room was of a good size and the bed comfortable.
The hotel is in a great location, right in the centre of olney.
Having a shower in the bedroom with unforosted glass makes for a very intimate experience!
Similarly the toilet was pretty much in the room with very thin, albeit opaque, walls.
The most disappointing part of our stay was at breakfast time. The service was poor with long waits to order, to receive drinks and to get our food. When it arrived my toast was burned, the avocado spread like peanut butter, the smallest egg I've ever seen which was over cooked and no sign of the plum tomato, chilli flakes and basil stated on the menu. It really did need them. My partner's eggs royale was just as disappointing - very small overcooked eggs and little smoke salmon or hollandaise sauce. We were not told about the table of breakfast cereal, toast making and orange juice and only noticed it once we'd finished. The tables were left uncleared whilst staff were absent or chatting to customers for prolonged periods.
The beer garden is very neglected, which is a shame as it could be an asset.

A very nice room, large enough space and with some old details which we like when we book a stay. The restaurant was large, and they had great food and service. Breakfast was excellent.
We had free parking but is was on a public parking lot across the street as the own parking was full, and we had to wait for breakfast because somebody with the keys overslept. But both were not real problems.

Stairs! And I’m not sure we were given correct room, but we were in the area for a funeral , we’re with family and staying just the one night so decided not to say anything

Floor in the room wasn’t clean, room was very hot and shower in the room didn’t help, ceiling in the toilet wasn’t painted properly

Central location, clean, food is excellent
I originally booked for two but my wife fell ill so couldn't travel. I paid for two no problem as I realised it was two late to change the booking. When I checked in I asked if my sister whom I was visiting could join me for breakfast as I had paid for two anyway, I was told no and I would have to pay extra, I thought that was rather mean!

The facilities were great, the restaurant food was lovely. Choice of drinks at the bar were great and the outdoor seating areas was lovely. Mia who greeted us on the first night was excellent. Such a wonderful asset to the team, excellent customer service and I warmed to her instantly and knew I had picked the right place to stay for my trip.
The bar closed at 9pm on Sunday which was not ideal and the rooms were very warm with no air con. We only had breakfast on the Monday morning as we were up and out earlier than they started breakfast on the other mornings. The quality of the breakfast was excellent, really cooked well and lovely food but it took an age to get served! And there as only cornflakes or granola as a cereal option and they had run out of orange juice.

Disappointed with the breakfast available. The breakfast chef and not come in due to illness, which I know can happen, but the non-cooked option was disappointing.
