The cabin was spacious and clean. The kitchen was well stocked with quality cooking tools and dishes. The fireplace and wood was wonderful, as were the Rocky Mountain Soap products.
The bed was quite uncomfortable so 3 nights straight of a poor sleep definitely put a damper on our time away. A nap wasn’t even appealing because of the low quality of the bed.

Great location, very easy to access a lot of trails in the vicinity. front desk was very helpful and assisted with all our requests
kitchen is a bit lack of appliance, electric kettle was missing and needed a refill of salt.

Overall a good stay. Beautiful backdrop for the cabins. Very nice that they provided firewood for the fireplace every day.
Didn’t get housekeeping after the first night, but a nice young man came and did it after the second night.

EVERYTHING!! It was absolutely majestic!!! We had so much fun, we had a s’more kit and hot dogs provided. They had a fully stocked convenience store with fresh sandwiches, groceries including a variety of liquor, beers and wines. They also had a dvd movies to sign out with a list of around 300 movies to choose from!!
I don’t have one bad thing to say, it was amazing!!

Stunning location. Nice fire pit.
Horrendously poor quality of beds. Seriously overpriced. Not clean. Very poor value for money. Free earplugs are provided as the noise from the trains will wake you through the night. Will not stay again.

The accommodation of after hours check in was really helpful. I do wish that there was more than 1.5hrs to check in before close which is why we missed it.

super cute cabins with communal fire pits and bbq. close to a couple of great hikes! there was a gas station and very well stocked store on site!
the railroad is very close to the property, which wouldn’t be a problem… but the trains honked their horns as they approached the intersection right behind the property. the cabins came with ear plugs on the bedside table but if you’re a light sleeper like me the noise still woke me throughout the night.

We love Castle Mountain, we just got engaged there last week!!! We love the tub, the layout, and the free wood!
However, the bed in Cabin 10 needs to be replaced and the charcuterie package was far too expensive for what we got. It would have been nice if there was some fruit, jam, and mustard to eat with the charcuterie as that is typically what comes on the plate all at once. Also, some of the wood pieces were so large and there was no way to cut it into smaller pieces. But stilll an amazing vacation!!!

the location and secludedness, not crowded, beautiful surrounding, available amenities like laundry
further away from restaurants, shops. toilet bowl a bit detached

The cabin was a great size. Large living area, wood burning fireplace, jacuzzi, kitchen…what more do you need?! Staff was great and answered any and all questions. Great area for exploring.

Great: perfect for Christmas weekend in the snow - truly white Christmas, postcard perfect cabin in the snow
Good: jacuzzi- nice and hot, great after a long drive: fireplace - lovely to have in the below zero temperatures
Disappointing:
Water/pipe leak - Upon our arrival, we discovered a very wet kitchen floor and bathroom sink/counter. This was fixed the day after although the towels we used to wipe and absorb the water were never replaced. We also noticed water dripping from the kitchen light bulbs above the sink but couldn’t report it because after we noticed it, no one was no longer in the office the whole time we were there. So we used the light minimally to avoid electrical accidents.
Cleanliness and comfort - pull out bed looked like it didn’t have clean sheets. Springs were bent so it was very uncomfortable to sleep on. We left a sign on the door on Xmas day to change our linen and towels but it was never done and we checked out after 4 nights without a single time that the cabin was cleaned!
Wifi - for several nights, the connection was intermittent and on our last two nights, we had to use our own mobile data to watch some Netflix on our laptop.
Payment - I had filled in the check-in form with a new credit card however they kept attempting to use the credit card they had on file originally. This shows pretty bad management as I had filled this form out right in front of a staff member when we checked in and they then misplaced an important document. I had to give them a call and my details over the phone for them to process payment.
Lastly, warning to light sleepers - the train passes by several times throughout the night and early morning and always blows its horn. So since I’m a light sleeper, I never got a good nights sleep the whole time we were there. And don’t turn dishwasher on when you’re about to go to sleep. It’s just as noisy as the train!

Location was perfect, secluded to feel very cozy and peaceful but only a short drive to Banff. Loved the village store on-site and the trails just off the property for snowshoeing, which we rented at reception. Our cabin was so comfortable and homely, loved our open fireplace and the spa bath! The staff were very accommodating and helpful.
Nothing at all!
