Disappointing, would not recommend for family with small kids

Bathroom was ok. Location was convenient for us.

Apartment was in the attic with slanted roof and beams in the middle of the ceiling which meant you could really use only half a room. Kept banging my head when in and out of the bed. Stairs between bedroom and kitchen. Appartement surfaces cleaned only, when opened one sofa it was disgusting inside with used tissues, hair, dirt and God knows what else inside. Yet during booking an additional £60 was charged to cover the costs of cleaning.. Kitchen poorly equipped, not even a toaster and only two mugs with no cracks. Kettle full of lime scale. TV stopped working.. Living room couch was like sitting on a park bench, so hard and uncomfortable. Beds were inadequate with dirty old mattraces, most uncomfortable deformed pillows and no change of sheets for a whole week. Very noisy from 4 am onwards, sounded like a work shops next door with machine noises and people shouting, laughing... The central heating was not working. Got 1 portable heater for the whole apartment which appeared not to be working. Messaged the owner about it and got no reply whatsoever. Turned out the socket it was plugged into didn't work but before we figured that out we were freezing the first night. Would not recommend for families with kids. It is possibly a better choice for young people like students.

Good place for transit travellers

Although we made last minute booking, the host met us and showed everything around. The apartment is bright and very clean. There's everything to wash, dry and iron clothes. District is quiet and several supermarkets are available in 5-8 minutes drive. Parking is possible on the street.

There was no microwave in the kitchen.
