Had a fantastic week in this beautifully furnished, brightly decorated 'beachy' condo: It's obvious in the attention to detail that the owners take great pride (& rightfully so) in offering their place at the beach to visitors. High quality furnishings, appliances, and all the accouterments one could need are found throughout the unit - and such a comfortable king bed: And the sunrise view from the balcony is not to be missed. In prime Myrtle Beach location, close to many restaurants and short stroll to the boardwalk& attractions. And Edith was most courteous - and very prompt - in responding to our few day-1 pesky questions. Will definitely seek out Dolphin Shack for a return visit.

My husband and I enjoyed our week at the Dolphin Shack. The view from the balcony was our favorite watching the sunrise and relaxing after a day on the beach. The condo was perfect for the two of us, very clean, and exactly as pictured. The complex was well maintained and the employees were always cleaning and were very friendly and helpful. Plenty of nice places close by to eat. Edith was great to work with and responded very quickly. Would absolutely go back again!

This condo is perfect! Bed is very comfortable and view could not be better! The condo has EVERYTHING you would need and thank goodness because I forgot my beach umbrella at home 😂. The host is available and answers any questions you may have. Check in and check out was a breeze. We will definitely stay again and would recommend this condo to anyone!

This well maintained condo was a pleasure to visit. The ocean view is amazing and has easy access to the beach. Edith was easy to deal with and it’s obvious she takes pride in her home. The unit was very clean and and adequately stocked. The building itself needs some work but the unit itself is in very good condition. Walking distance to a few restaurants was a plus.

My family and I booked this room for our first vacation in 3 years, due to Covid. It was our first time using VBRO so I was a bit nervous but it couldn’t have gone better. The room itself was beautiful. Well-maintained, updated and clean. No unwanted bugs at all. The bed was very comfortable and we had everything we could have needed such as a toaster, Keurig, dishwasher, 2 televisions, balcony chairs/tables, board games, books, etc. The owners were on top of communication and were very easy to reach if we ever needed to get ahold of them. The building itself/grounds as a whole was good. The elevators were sometimes slow and broken here and there. Long waits for them as well at times but nothing we couldn’t handle. There was a couple hot tubs, 2 pools (one outside and one under cover), lazy river and a couple kiddie pools. Our daughter loved all of the options. The poolside bar and Italian ice were an added bonus (available for $). The condo building is literally in the middle of everything which was wonderful! It can get noisy at times when night comes around. Thank you! We will be back.

Updated and clean but small 18th floor condo. Host was responsive and communicated well. It's unfortunate that we smelled marijuana smoke almost every time we went out on our patio. We were vacationing with 4 other couples who stayed in the building and and it seems this was definitely one of the nicer units.

This condo was perfect for my family. The room was clean, beds were comfortable, and the property was within walking distance to several things. We loved being able to walk straight out to the beach and that the hotel had several pools to choose from (heated and unheated). Communication with Edith was phenomenal, she was very quick to respond to all of our questions. The only downside was where this condo is privately owned you are not allowed to use the DVD rental service offered to normal resort guests. So if you have small children I recommend packing a few DVDs for them to watch while in the room. There were a couple movies for younger kids in the room. Overall we enjoyed our stay and will definitely book with Edith again.

The condo was clean and perfect size for two. Pleasantly surprised with summer-type weather for October. Many restaurants and attractions in walking distance. Enjoyed our daily walks on the beaches. Unit was as listed. Included everything needed for our week long stay. Great restaurants are nearby and all walking distance. Great beach. Pool and grounds are cleaned regularly and the staff is extremely friendly. Only negative to note would be that many of the units are not privately owned so a large influx of short time weekend only renters come through.
