Isange really is a kind of hidden paradise, unexpected up until crossing its gates. In particular, the beautiful gardens play a major role in creating this vibe but also the wonderful and kind service, the fantastic food (really spot on, especially the fish), and the flexibility of when breakfast was served (helpful for those heading out to hike early in the morning) and the range of dishes offered. The garden was really lovely for breakfast and the fireplace was great for dinner. In terms of the bedroom, it was really very spacious, the bed was comfortable and surrounded by a classy mosquito net. The bathroom was also large, with a beautiful stone floor, and hot hot water :) All in all, really recommend the place
The only downside, though only a minor one, was that the sound insulation wasn't the best, so you could hear a bit from the adjacent room. Nothing terrible, though

Enjoyed the restaurant and they got a good collection of meals and drinks. Highly recommend if you are in the area. Easy to access.

This place had it all: attentive and friendly staff, comfortable and spacious rooms, quiet and peaceful surroundings, an excellent restaurant with delicious food served stylishly, a careful selections of handicrafts from local projects, and a non-profit model to support local communities. This is a must-stop on a trip through Rwanda.

Very friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast and dinner on the property, and nice rooms with good beds and hot showers. Only 20-30 minute drive from Volcanoes National Park. Feels very peaceful. Highly recommend!
The neighbors next door were a little loud, but otherwise, great!

Perfect location not far from the main road but strategic as well for the ones going on volcanoes hiking.
Amazing organic food
Flexibility to serve breakfast at 5.30 am
Noise insulation between rooms has to be improved

Everything. The garden was gorgeous, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The large portions of food were excellent and fresh. The area and space was quiet and relaxing. The different birds were lovely to watch. It is about a 10 minute moto ride from town centre, but we enjoyed the location. Showers were also great.
Nothing. Loved it!

Nice gardens and lovely restaurant area. Accepted card for payments and everything nice and straightforward
No real dislikes although food took an hour to arrive every time, and staff seemed surprised every time we asked for anything. Rooms are perfectly fine, but very basic

Really nice little paradise close to Volcanoes national park. The staff was super friendly and helpful, nothing was too much for them. The food was also very good
Nothing really, just maybe 1 thing: the mosquito-nets were too small for the size of the beds

The staff were so welcoming and friendly. The room was comfortable with extra touches such as a fruit bowl, candle, mosquito plug in etc. The garden area was beautiful and having a lovely breakfast sat out there made it even better. There was a bed swing which made relaxing easy.

Nanny Service - Phoebe was amazing with the kids. We managed to go for the Gorilla Trekking with relaxed minds knowing that the children were in safe hands. The children had so much fun. They even got a tricycle to pay with all through the stay.
Stefan was amazing in keeping us updated on the progress of everything. On date of check-in we were late, he did a follow up to check on our location as well as the menu we preferred for the night. When doing the trekking he kept sending us photos of the kids and nanny assuring us that all was well.
Ngabo - Our great guide was kind enough to recommend to us some fun places to visit. He took us around explaining to us about the area and cultures of the people. He is a very good driver and an awesome guide. We enjoyed all the road trips with him. He was very helpful as well in helping us purchase items from the local shops.
Aline and the staff team were all great to us. Very jovial and happy people. We felt safe and at home. The food, service and love was all from the heart. Where we couldn't decide on what to eat, they were very helpful in giving suggestions which we all enjoyed, especially the kids meals.
Aline was kind enough to do a follow up on whether we got back home safely. We truly appreciate.
Location - The resort is an awesome budget friendly location for anyone intending to visit the Volcanoes / Gorilla Trekking.
Everything about Isange Paradise was beyond our expectations. We will definitely be visiting again and again as well as recommend our friends to visit.
That our stay was too short. Next time we hope to stay longer.

Isange Paradise has really changed. We came last time in 2021 and it turned around completely. Very cozy restaurant with a fire place. Wonderful food and super friendly staff!
Rooms very dark. A bit more light would be great. Pillows uncomfortable and bed wasn't properly cleaned. Mosquito net broken and with a lot of insects on top.
Overall - very high price compared to other similar options in town which partially go for 50% of the price.

Isange is one of these guesthouses that you feel at home. Rooms facing a garden (where you can enjoy your meal, even), lovely and friendly staff that know you by your name. Such a lovely place to stay. Rooms are big, all have a veranda to relax after a day out.
The food is really good, by the way!
The guesthouse is simple in general, but decoration is lovely, with all those beautiful traditional, colourful fabrics. Nice touch!!

- Friendly staff!! They took care of our son, who is 8 yo, during we did the trail to Bisoke Lake Crater! BIG THANKS FOR THAT!
- A special thanks goes to Stefan for the very good communication before and during our stay!
- Cozy rooms
- Breakfast could be diversified. Some cheese or ham would be especially for Europeans welcome

The location (20/30 mins from
volcanoes national park), beautiful gardens, clean rooms with very hot shower, fantastic wifi speed, and delicious food! The staff were friendly and attentive, and the place had a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. A hidden gem!
The light outside my room was bright keeping me awake, but they turned them off when I asked! :)

Lovely rooms at a very good value. Really nice and attentive staff. Beautiful and lush gardens. Incredible breakfast included. Facilities for kids (table tennis, trampoline, games etc). Nice fireplace in the evenings. Quiet spot, a bit away from the main town of Musanze. Secure parking is available.
Only tiny thing to consider. The fireplace can be a bit smoky. The roof needs a vent of some kind.

The breakfast was great. All the staff is so welcoming and lovely. Shoutout to Josia and Emmanuel, we loved your company. Also thanks to Stefan too!
The restaurant menu was slightly limited.

A warm welcone with a fruity smoothie which was maybe a speciality. Very helpful staff who tried to help us arrange a visit to the caves. Stefan also had some great suggestions for going on a boat trip and lunch on lake Ruhondo. We did that and it was lovely. Breakfast was nice with lots more fruit and we had a tasty dinner with local fresh fish. Our room was very clean with cosy covers for the chilly night. Clean drinking water provided and a welcome fruit bowl. A beautiful garden.
The bed was very firm! And the pillows small and not very comfy. Maybe this could be improved?

Isange is a beautiful little treasure near INES Ruhengeri. It has a wonderful garden and a lot of
Potential. Also a nice destination for a trip with friends - you can play table tennis, have the kids jump On the trampoline or chill in the garden.
The place is beautiful but would need a bit of revamping. Some of the stuff look a bit old (trampoline) and may need a bit
Of fresh collie. The breakfast is very basic. The lounge area could also be made more cozy.

The most extraordinary garden, large and spacious room, bicycles for free hire, friendliest staff
6.0
The overall property was well manicured and cute, kind of like a cabin feel. The staff was friendly and accommodating and prepared a lovely breakfast.
Cleanliness was the biggest critique. We literally had to change rooms twice due to lack of cleanliness being up to par, including the bathroom and the bed linens. The cost of the room is not appropriate for the level of accommodation...should be a more budget rate.
