PERMIT #2023-1516 STANDARD OCCUPANCY (Sleeps): 6 guests (includes infants or children) MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY: 8 guests (includes infants or children) VEHICLE MAXIMUM: 1 vehicle (includes golf carts, boat trailers or any other recreational vehicles) PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED. WRISTBANDS ARE REQUIRED FOR ALL GUESTS DURING MARCH & HOLY/EASTER WEEK. *One elevator is undergoing maintenance and will not be available until further notice. Elevator #2 will remain fully functional. Wait times for the elevator may be longer than usual. Rates have been adjusted to reflect the inconvenience.* Spring Break & Holy Week (March 1st - April 9th, 2023): Everyone occupying the rental must be at least 21 years of age or older. Anyone under the age of 21 will not be permitted. Identification of Each Guest must be presented at check-in. Any guest who is not 21 or older will not be permitted to occupy the home and will not be eligible for a refund. This rule does not apply to family groups or otherwise approved by an SPI Rentals employee. . This beachfront two bedroom, two bath condominium located at the Saida Royale Beach & Tennis Club offers gorgeous beach views from every room. The amenities don't stop there. The Saida complex offers three pools (one heated), four tennis courts and four jacuzzi's. Saida Royale 88-89 is located within walking distance of fine dining, shops and more. You will have private beach access to South Padre Island's sandy beaches. The master bedroom entails a King bed and the guest bedroom entails two Queen beds. Both bedrooms and the living room are equipped with flat screen televisions. Cable television and wifi are included as well. The fully stocked kitchen features contemporary counter tops and a breakfast bar with stools. This condo is also equipped with a washer and dryer.

We enjoyed the condo very much and have reserved for next year. SPI provides excellent service in all aspects of the rental process. Our only concern is with the building itself. There are 15 floors in the building with 2 elevators. However, one elevator was out of service for our entire stay and other elevator was out of service twice during the month-long stay. The outages were not over an hour long,but it is quite concerning when you stay on the upper floors, just something to think about!

This condominium was amazing! My family and I had stayed in this hotel before, but this room in specific looked beautiful! We had ocean views and it was left super clean for us to check in. We will definitely be booking again! Another reason why is that when it was time for check out,, they were extremely patient with us and even offered to help us out! The spi team was great and there were no bad things in this reservation! Cant wait to be back !

I was looking forward to my stay on SPI. Unfortunately, our arrival was marred by having to find parking at the property. I had booked a two bedroom condo through SPI rentals, and was told that I could only have one parking spot for a two bedroom condo that allows up to 8 guests. When I did figure out where to park the 2nd vehicle so it wouldn't be towed, I walked into the condo and found the welcome manual, which said I was allowed to have two parking permits since I had a two-bedroom condo. I called SPI rentals and they said No, it's not in the contract. Regardless, I would definitely advise against booking this listing in the future especially through Vrbo, and it's third-party affiliate SPI rentals. The last thing you want to worry about on your relaxing vacation is the possibility of having your vehicle towed.

1. We couldn’t use the beach or pool facilities prior to check in.
2. They wouldn’t contact you to let the check in process start until exactly 4:00 and it was located in another building away from the condo.
3. Check out was 10:00 and late checkout wasn’t allowed.

The room was very nice and big. Tv's in every room was nice. My only recommendation would be updated living room furniture and update the master bedroom mattress. It was hard and uncomfortable. Just minor details, but we really enjoyed the room and the view!

The apartment is spacious and the AC works perfectly. The location is superb, and the amenities from the building are nice. The sofa bed need replacement and the stove is missing “information” on the knobs and the temperature at which it's supposed to be working; also, the kitchenware could do with an improvement. The service from SPI rentals is really good, I do recommend them. All in all, would stay again on this property.

Kathryn and Karina were so pleasant and helpful with assisting us with our stay at the Royale #88-89 It made our stay very relaxing and enjoyable. If we needed anything, SPI responded promptly.The condo does need alittle improvements, the stools seem very old and are tipsy, need replacing.

You need new mattresses in all beds. Our backs, to this day are still hurting. One night we slept sitting down in the chairs in the master bedroom. Other than that, everything else was good.

Outdated, we had to bring our own kitchen pans and utensils. And lots of bugs!!!! spray did not help.

Condo has a great view. The balcony chairs need to be thrown out. They were wicker like and not like the pictures. Two of the four chairs had holes in the seats. All of this chair were seriously uncomfortable to sit on.
The barstools were not like the pictures. All were stained by use. Maybe some non fabric stools would be better.
Main bedroom had a great view. The bedspread (also not in picture) barely covered the bed. Shower has a wobbly bath faucet. Shower head is nice and tall, but has terrible water pressure.
Other room with two queen beds was ok. Shower in the room has a bit of a funk. Shower head looks moldy but it’s just hard water probably.
All the beds just plain suck. They are hard and lumpy and really loud.
Coffee pot was ok, some coffee filters would have been nice. We had to buy 100 filters for 5 days. It’s like $2…. Come on.
Update the pictures or update the condo. These pictures are great and it probably looked that pretty 5 years ago. Just go in with the knowledge that what you see is not always what you get. That being said your close to the beach and you can see it with a sore bum from your balcony.

Dehumidifier
You need to empty the dehumidifier 3 times a day on average. The water tank of dehumidifier is pretty gross and probably needs to be cleaned.

We had a very nice stay at this condo. It is located at the end of the hallway so no other guests walked by, it is very quiet.
The only thing is that the tv in the master bedroom does not work and it could use some upgraded living room couches but one is there for the beaches.

Labor Day weekend getaway
I was looking forward to my stay on SPI. Unfortunately, our arrival was marred by having to find parking at the property. My family and I had a great stay here! This is a great place that is close to the beach. The pools weren’t crowded, no loud neighbors, and easy access to the beach. Our condo was moderately updated and clean. Our only complaint would be that we couldn’t get the TV to work in the double bedroom. Other than that, we enjoyed everything!

Nice Condo
We stayed for 3 nights in this condo for a girl's trip weekend and had a pleasant experience. The condo itself was nice, but not excellent. Nice decor, but nothing over the top. The overall Saida facility was great. 3 pools, poolside bar and grill (much better than other condos on the island), and direct access to the beach.
I wasn't super impressed with the rental company (SPI Rentals). We didn't have enough linens for all the beds the first night, and they wouldn't bring us extra that day because we called too close to 10pm, so we had to make due with towels we had brought with us.
Overall decent experience. Condo could use some basic upgrades to HVAC (like vents without dampers in them - resulting in a big "hole" in the ceiling), but definitely not the worst beach condo I've stayed at.

Disappointment
First of all, the kitchen is not fully stocked. 1 pot, super old coffee maker and gross toaster. Not a broom in the place. Poor lighting (one light didn't work at all), NO hooks anywhere for beach towels, wet suits, etc. shower door apparently leaks so there is also a shower curtain inside glass door. Needs painting - bathrooms are all chipped up with rusting hardware. Stains all over sofas. The complex itself is fine but would not recommend these units.

Family Summer Trip 2021
We had and excellent stay with SPI for our first trip to South Padre! The room was clean and the view was beautiful. The only thing I would ask for was to have a broom and dust pan in the room due to the sand and also an upgrade on the mattresses as they weren't the most comfortable. With that said, everything else was top notch and we had an amazing time!
