This beautifully appointed Sparrow Pond cottage has been renovated to feature an open kitchen with island seating. The spacious living room offers a beautifully furnished space that feels like home, and boasts a nice TV for movie nights. Gather in the adjoining sunroom overlooking the lagoon, or the intimate dining area makes every meal feel special. 2 of the 3 bedrooms boast King beds and each of the spacious bedrooms has its own private bathroom, updated with tile showers. Watch boats go by in the far distance and enjoy the ocean breezes. This cottage is NOT ocean front, but you can see the water about 0.2 miles away. We had a great time at this house with its views of the ocean! It was bright & clean and very close to the beach & pool. We shopped at the Freshfields, rode bikes & took and rented a boat during our stay! It was wonderful and will be back.

Great house. Lovely, comfortable and well equipped . Very clean and very nicely decorated . Deck was wonderful with great view of lagoon . Well located, close to beach, quiet and peaceful. Very responsive and helpful contact person. She was wonderful . Had a great time and would definitely consider booking again in the future . Saw some great birds from the deck .

Our stay was great! The cottage is spacious, nicely decorated and convenient to the beach and pool. Loved the view from the sunroom- especially during the night of the full moon! Kitchen was well stocked and the large laundry room was a plus. Susie was a pleasure to deal with and very quick to respond to our questions.

The master bedroom has a skylight window above the bed. This makes it difficult to sleep with a bright moon or early sunrise. The oven is also very small. We had a problem with a swarming flying ant infestation the first couple of days but when we notified the property manager an exterminator quickly resolved the issue. We enjoyed the view from the sunroom overlooking the pond.

We had a terrific stay at this well kept and well stocked cottage! An easy walk to the beach, pool and Cougar Point, it’s a great West Beach rental. The cottage was extremely clean and very comfortable with a lovely view. We also enjoyed the grill and deck area and also appreciated the bike rack behind the cottage. Susie was also great!

We really enjoyed our stay at this cute cottage. It has a well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and nicely redone baths. The location is great - about a two to three minute bike ride to the beach. The cottage is loaded with plenty of storage including a large pantry for dry goods. The deck is awesome as is the view from the deck. We prefer West Beach because of its proximity to Freshfields Village as we enjoy biking to the grocery. We would not hesitate to return to this property.

We enjoyed our stay at this cute little cottage near the Cougar Point golf course and beach. The walk to the beach is about 10 minutes. It is an easy ride to town since the Sparrow Pond cottages are the first turn after the gate. It was very comfortable for 4 adults. Susie was a great help throughout our stay!

Our family (6 of us) really enjoyed this property. The home was beautiful and fit us perfectly. I didn’t realize until we got there that there is an ocean view! The neighborhood is quiet and low key. We enjoyed the bike rides, shaded walks to the beach, and the over all feel of Kiawah. Thank you for sharing your home! We hope to be back next year!

We will definitely be returning to this property. It had everything we needed for our family. We have been renting houses in South Carolina for years (Kiawah, Seabrook, Pawleys) and this was among the best maintained and stocked house we've stayed in. The location is very quiet, yet a short distance to the beach and pool. It has a great sunroom to relax in the afternoons and the patio / grill were great for evening dinners. Susie was a piece of cake to deal with and was very communicative throughout the prep and stay. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our week at Kiawah Island in this lovely cottage; 4 adults and one baby. The cottage is nicely decorated and very comfortable. The view of the pond off the back deck is gorgeous; lots of birds. We especially enjoyed the sunroom in the back. Really comfortable bed with great pillows and linens. Many towels provided. Our family with two teenagers enjoyed very well the stay in this cozy, well equipped house. The beach was great, where we could ride a bike, run and walk together. The shallow waterfront is amazing and our children could use our inflatable boat too. The location is nice, safe, silent and not crowded. We recommend this house honestly for everyone.

The house was very clean and the furniture was comfortable, and the view off the back deck is great! We watched the herons and egrets and a resident deer all week. It’s a short walk to the beach and pool. Susie was very quick to address any needs of ours.

We have been coming to Kiawah for years...the Sparrow Pond Cottages are in the best location! Such a quick bike ride to everything or a quick walk to the beach. 1005 has everything you could ever think to need during a visit and our entire family felt completely at home the whole week! We would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to visit Kiawah!

Everything was in incredible order at this Kiawah Gem. We are a family of 5 with three young kids. The house is on a cul-de-sac at West Beach. The kids had a great time safely biking in the neighborhood and down to the beach and pool. The pool and beach are a 2 minute walk...... with little ones. Great stay. Thanks Kiawah by Owner.
