PETS: We welcome your well-behaved dog (small to medium sized) for $350 per dog, maximum 2. Regrettably, Labradors and other oily coated breeds are not allowed. Dogs are never allowed on furniture or beds (or their humans have to pay a fine) and must be crated when left alone. No pets in your party? No problem as there is NO pet evidence in this house. PAYMENTS: 50% due upon booking. Full amount due at 60 days prior to arrival. Long term winter reservations policy differs- please inquire. CANCELLATIONS: You are welcome to cancel your reservation without penalty and receive full refund of your deposit up to 61 days prior to arrival. At 60 days prior to arrival, your reservation becomes noncancelable and non-refundable. Travel insurance is always highly recommended. We had a great family vacation at 8 laughing gull. House is well appointed and a short walk to the beach. Perfect for our family of 5. Sea pines is a great location. We rented bikes and rode all thru the area. Really enjoyable beach vacation.

Beautiful home. Very well decorated and stocked with all essentials. Location was terrific. Easy access in and out of Sea Pines South Gate. Convenient path to beach and all the beach gear one would need. The BestNest team was very responsive to a grill issue we had and it got fixed same day. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

We enjoyed our time at 8 Laughing Gull. The house was very clean, including all kitchenware. There was plenty of space to relax, and the walk to the beach took less than 5 minutes. Upon arrival, our door code didn't work-- a quick call to Beverly Serral resolved the issue in less than a minute. Overall, a fantastic vacation rental!

Because of sickness only 3 adults and 1 teenager of our 6 were able to attend. Because of that the trip was disappointing. The house and location were excellent. I am disappointed that I have not received a response from an email I sent to guest services on Tuesday, June 27.

Very quiet and close to the beach (less than 5 minute walk on a path). We have stayed in several places over the years and this was the best stocked in terms of beach towels, chairs, coolers and a welcome basket. Ended up calling the location help number when we arrived and when we left and they were friendly and helpful both times.

My family and I have rented homes in several locations overseas and around the country (including in Palmetto Bluff in Bluffton, and in Carmel, California), but we have never rented a home as clean, tastefully decorated, and well appointed as this one. The home layout was perfect for us, and the location was fabulous, too. Beverly and her team were also lovely to work with. We had a lovely Christmas together, and hope to come back another time.

The house is well furnished in a comfortable, contemporary fashion. Beds and linens were very comfortable. The kitchen was really well stocked with virtually all types of cooking utensils, pots and pans and the dishes and cutlery were new, cleaned very attractive. The facility was managed more like a large suite in a hotel rather than the usual beach rental. Beverly has a great business model. I would definitely stay again. The house is a spacious 3BR/3BA with all amenities. The lot is quite small so the outdoor space is not particularly usable or private but with beach access and bike and walking paths at your doorstep I didn't feel I missed out on anything.

This property worked perfectly for our November vacation. So close to the beach and the neighborhood was very quiet (hardly any homes occupied). The extras make renting with Beverly Serral such a pleasure: the home is stocked with trash bags, beach towels, toilet paper, etc. Comfortable beds and bedding! We had a few brief wifi outages, but that may have been due to street construction nearby. Otherwise, the wifi was strong enough for video work, etc. New decking. Highly recommend this property.

It was a much needed family gathering after the isolation from Covid. The weather was warm, sunny and perfect temperature for beach time. The house is in a perfect location since there is such a short hop to the ocean. We had such a wonderful time all being together and the house/services made much of that possible. Beverly Serral is the best reality group we have ever booked with. Spotless environment, well equipped with all essentials, and responds timely to any issues that arrive during our stay. This is our second experience with BESTNEST. Our first was wonderful as well. We expected to bring our 10 month old puppy with us and were confident a BESTNEST rental would be superior to any other "pet friendly" option. In the end we did not bring our puppy with us and we were not disappointed. The home was impeccably clean. The furniture is as described. The bathrooms were lovely. The kitchen was fine. There was no sign pets had been in the home at any time.
The ONLY downside is the lack of an inviting outdoor space. The screened porch has a dining table which seemed redundant. Comfortable outdoor seating and lighting would be a better choice for that area. There is no pool.
