Exquisite and central in Paris ! Nearby the Louvre, Notre Dame, and Saint Germain shopping area. Located in an ancient stone building by the border of the Seine river, the studio is right in the art & antique shop district. It is close to the oldest bridge of Paris, the Pont Neuf which leads directly to the ile de la Cité, with Notre Dame Cathedral on the right. Crossing the Seine, one reaches the Louvre museum in 2 mn. The studio is also neighbouring the lively heart of the Saint Germain area and the Latin Quarter. This apartment is a perfect base to visit Paris. It stays 15 minute by subway to most interesting Paris locations AND is a very charming and restful area to be appreciated after a whole day shopping and walking through museums. Transportation is the easiest : The apartment is a couple of minutes from subway Cité or Saint-Michel and 5 mn from subway Odeon or Saint Germain des Prés. More about the apt... This 24m² studio is perfectly adapted for a couple (or a family of 3) for a short to medium length stay. It sleeps a maximum of 3 guests (1 DBL + 1 sofa DBL convertible). It is on the first floor with elevator. Entering the studio, one notices the stone wall, the wooden floor and the wonderful wooden beams. The living room has a large bay window, which offers a nice view on a quiet private courtyard full of greeneries. Design of the studio was carefully done. Materials are of top quality, wood and metal and modern. The studio is furnished with a working desk, a TV, a table, chairs, shelves and a comfortable convertible sofa that sleeps 2. The mezzanine can be accessed by a stair running along the wall. Note : It can be used for sleeping only as it is not full body height and one can only stay seated on the bed. It is furnished with a double Futon (we limit rent to 3 guests. Ask specifically for 4 guests). Decoration is charming. The designed open kitchen is equipped with microwave oven, refrigerator, stove… Bathroom offers a modern comfortable shower with fixed and handy shower, sink and toilets. The bathroom washer washes but does not dry. One immediately feels relaxed in this wood and stone atmosphere, bathed in light and viewing the greeneries in the courtyard. As a bonus, Phone calls to land lines in France, and to US, Canada and Australia are generally free. It is also true for more than 50 countries. Moreover, calls to cell phones towards specific countries (often US & Canada) may also be free. Ask us for detail as it may vary with time and policies of operators. Great location by the Pont Neuf on the Rive Gauche. Easy walking to metro stops, Louvre, D’Orsay, etc. apartment is very comfortable and the very detailed guide from the owner was completely correct and necessary as there are several codes to learn. The only downside is the bedroom loft is only 4’ high so you cannot stand in the loft. Steep ladder and steps inside the apartment. But, we got used to it and would stay here again.

We enjoyed your lovely apartment which had a nice style. The bed and pull out were so comfortable and it was quietly tucked away from the street so perfect to sleep. We realized after my daughter took a shower that she needed to conserve so my only advice to others would be to avoid long showers as you’ll run out of hot water. We loved it and highly recommend it!

Studio is exactly as listed and was perfect for us. Clean, well decorated, and lovely courtyard view. Location truly can’t be beat. We walked daily…. Louvre, Eiffel Tower, Arc de triomphe, Musee d orsay, Sacre-Coeur, and along the Seine which is right out the front door. Cafe filled streets will not allow you to go hungry. Great instructions from the host and we navigated in the dark with an early arrival. Would not hesitate to book again when we return.

1. This is the best location in Paris. You can walk easily through the 5th, 6th, 7th, 1st, 2nd and 3rd Arrondissements. Fabulous museums, galleries, restaurants at your doorstep.

From the check-in to checkout we had a wonderful time. The apartment is very nice with a nearby elevator to lessen your load with suitcases. We chose the sleeper sofa rather than the loft. It was comfortable and easy to set up and take down. The location of the apartment would be hard to beat. From restaurants to the sights, it is well placed

Although you enter the apartment from a main street that's typically crowded and busy, you'd never know it after walking through the two interior courtyards that lead to its entrance. It's a beautiful space that is most practical for a couple or perhaps a family with one child/teenager. It's tiny, but the enormous windows looking out upon a tree-filled interior courtyard make it feel much larger.
The pull-out sofa is very comfortable. The main bed is in a loft with a low ceiling and which requires a few steps up on a built-in ladder, though I should note that it is very stable -- heavy steel construction which is secured firmly at all stress points. (As a 200 lb man, I had no trouble using it.)
Paris was quite warm during our stay, so the addition of a portable air conditioning unit was a big plus and made sleeping comfortable. (There is also a ceiling fan, and a standalone unit in the loft.)
The access to everything is key here. It is a 30 second walk to the Pont Neuf where one can take in gorgeous Parisian sunsets (as we did, every night of our stay). It is also close to the RER train stop which offers a straight and easy shot to Versailles. The immediate neighborhood is filled with plenty of cafes and shops, and as the listing promotes, it's just a short walk to the Louvre, Musée d'Orsay, and other key sites.
The host is very nice and easy to communicate with. Thank you for a great experience in Paris.

We loved the apartment and the location.
Very clean, very organized space. Excellent communication with the property manager. Easy check-in and check-out. The washing machine was working very well. The windows to the patio can be opened letting in nice cool air at night.
We stayed 3 nights. When looking it up online, I was worried about how our family of four (with two teenage kids) would fit in the small space. But! The space is very smartly planned, with plenty of good storage. The fold-out couch was really sturdy and comfortable even for a 6'2" person. The second sleeping space close to the sealing was good. Yes, one cannot stand up there, as stated in the property description. But was not a problem for us as most of the time was spent outside exploring Paris.
The location was perfect for exploring many areas, only a short walk to Louver, Notre Dame. We explored on foot the Latin Quarter. Thank you!

The apartment was stylish cozy and in the best possible location, across the street from the Seine, Le Louvre and just around the corner from great galleries and shops. My only difficulty was the check in and check out process which had no human contact and walking the streets alone at night. I left a day early as checking out and securing the key on a dark street by myself was unsafe (3 in the morning to make my flight). I love the apartment though.

Loved our stay in this cozy walk-up apartment with everything we needed for our short stay. The loft bedding was comfy with a very low ceiling. There is a lovely courtyard that is used by the surrounding apartments. The rules of this apartment were thoroughly noted. We wished the others using the courtyard had followed the same.

Overall we very much enjoyed our stay. The property is as advertised. It's location is perfectly situated in the heart of everything yet still quiet and cozy once you're inside the compound. I found the key pick-up odd but overall it worked fine and the instructions were clear. We would certainly stay here again. Hopefully the next time we come Paris won't be dealing with a garbage strike!

The property was ideal for us in all respects. We were travelling as a family with two adults, an 11 year old and a 13 year old. The location can’t be beat and the apartment is clean, cozy and well laid out. We highly recommend.

What a wonderful apartment! Amazing location in a building with a rich and interesting history. The apartment is gorgeous. It’s a small space but so beautifully designed and decorated that our family of four adults were very comfortable.
The pull out couch was very high quality it was just looking me sleeping in a real bed. The linens were soft and luxurious with plenty of extra towels provided. If you’re visiting Paris, stay here! ♥️

This apartment was perfect for us - 2 adults and a 9 year old. It was clean and had everything we needed, including a washer and a/c! The owner was great too. We did something that caused the cooktop to beep and we couldn’t stop it but when I called him we got disconnected. He called back and he walked us through it and was so nice. The location is great, in the middle of everything but since it faces the courtyard it was really quiet, even when the crowds came to watch the Tour de France go by right on our street! That was a fun surprise. Would definitely stay here again.

The location of this flat on the river, right at Pont Neuf between the Latin Quarter and Saint Germain is why it's the perfect home base to enjoy Paris! The flat as cozy, well equipped and fit our family of four just fine. We most certainly would stay here on our next visit!

While this space was small, it fit our family of four and was perfectly situated just off of the Pont Neuf! We could easily get around to all the sites and even come home for a midday rest!

We only stayed one night, I would not even let my dog step foot in the bathroom. Disgusting. If I could leave 0 stars I would. The bathroom is NOT AS SHOWN. There is black mold growing in the shower and around the sink with brown STAINS IN THE TOILET. Absolutely DISGUSTING. Not only is this disgusting but it poses as a serious health risk due to the black mold. The property owner was absolutely no help. I messaged him immediately after check in to let him know we wanted to terminate our stay and I didn’t hear back from him for TWO days after countless calls as well. When he finally responded, he said if I waited for him to respond he would relocate us to another one his properties… why would I trust any of his other properties when this one was so terrible? Or how was I supposed to wait two more days for him to respond? We left immediately.
The property owner is refusing to refund us our money and my credit card company and lawyer are now getting involved. VRBO has escalated this to their health and safety team as well. The property owner is not cooperating. This was our honeymoon and we were so excited to experience Paris together, only to be treated so terribly by this owner. DO NOT STAY.

The location was ideal for walking to the sites we wanted to see and there was many restaurants in the area. Renters need to be agile to climb into the sleeping space.

In the heart of the city, next to Pont Neuf, Ile de la Cite and a short walk to the Louvre. Beautiful outlook onto central garden during the day from the apartment and cosy, warm and charming at night. Thank you.

We loved our time in this apartment. The location was great and the place was very clean. The living area was beautiful with an amazing window overlooking a beautiful leafy courtyard. The entry court was striking, and classic Paris. The bedroom loft was definitely low-ceilinged, but added to the quirky charm. The neighborhood was right in the thick of things—tourist sights, restaurants, bars and all, and the apartment was surprisingly quiet.

Although this property is well located I can only assume that it generally draws a much younger clientele. We booked based on the great prior reviews. Not only can you not stand in the sleeping area you cannot even sit there. The linens provided for the sofa where we decided to sleep were old and in very bad shape. The wall heater fid not work and it was very cold. A space heater was provided but was not adequate to offset the cold air coming in from the huge windows. The owners son kindly helped correct problems with the TV which was not working. The charges were very high for a very sub par experience.

The property is in a great location, clean and as advertised. We had an issue with hot water the day of the arrival. We called the emergency number as it was Sat and got answering machine stating that the person is on vacation for another week, so will not be responding to any calls. The response via email came back many hours later. Meanwhile there was not hot water.((((

Beautiful, clean and well equipped property. We were very pleased with the location and all of the amenities and extras included with this property including some of the things that others had noted were not provided (ie dishwashing soap). There was everything we needed including laundry detergent. Although there was no dryer we were able to dry shirts etc on the heated towel rack. The property was very quiet and the elevator was also a nice bonus. The instructions for the property were very helpful and thorough. We would absolutely stay here again in the future and would encourage you to do so also! Merci beacoup!

We visited Paris for work and absolutely loved our stay here. Not only is it a beautiful home ... it's perfectly located. Walking distance every main attraction you could want. For us, it was more about the quaint streets and cafes, which are around the corner.
The owners were quick to respond when we checked in . Couldn't be happier. Would definitely stay here again!

We absolutely LOVED our stay in this petit apartment on the Sienne. In the heart of the city, it is walking distance to anything you'd like to see! Great shopping, AMAZING food (I mean YUM!!!!) and all the museums you could wish for are just steps away.
Very clean, secure and the owners were quite prompt in responding to all our questions. I highly recommend this rental.

The apartment is small, but well appointed and has all you need for a short term stay. The large window is a huge plus! Check in and out was easy, due to very detailed procedures and good follow-up. Had a problem with the television, but it was resolved in one day. Be aware that the ceiling in the loft is very low, and the mattress is on the floor, so it is not for everyone. I slept on the sofa bed, which was very comfortable. Safe, secure building , and the location is wonderful! I’d stay again.

This apartment couldn’t have been more convenient! It is close to shopping, restaurants, attractions and right across from the Seine River! The apartment is on the smaller side but was perfectly comfortable for our family of four with two teenagers. It was clean and comfortable, a bit hot on the warm days but there was a very appreciated fan that kept our sleeping comfortable. The check in and out instructions were very detailed and clear which made our arrival stress free! We were able to see all of our sights with little travel time from this apartment and even rented electric bikes to travel in multiple spots very close to home. I would definitely recommend this property to travelers. The only warning that I would head is the shower is very small but other than that we were very happy with our stay and even that worked fine for me (5’8”) and my husband (6’1”).
