Serenity is one of the most spectacular additions to the Tybee Island community. A short walk to the beach or the Tybee Lighthouse, this 6000 square foot home includes six bedrooms all with adjoining full baths, and an additional 2000 square feet of porches and a one-of-a-kind roof deck with a fully equipped outdoor BBQ grill/stove, hot tub, and sun deck. The house has an elevator serving all living levels as well as an accessible equipped bathroom. Learn about the historical aspects of Tybee Island, Fort Screven, and nearby Fort Pulaski during your stay-- the entire home is decorated with hundreds of photos, engravings and art cataloging the history of the area for the past 200 years. The bedrooms consist of two identical masters- equipped with a king size bed with four assorted pillows. The two master bedrooms are all very large, with a bay window and views of the Tybee Lighthouse, a table with two chairs, two large dressers, alarm clock, and CAT-5 access in addition to the Wireless network. You can also enjoy the large flat screen TV from either of the master beds. The upstairs Master also includes a Sony Bluray disc player. All the main bedrooms have large walk-in closets. The master bathroom for each level is extra large and includes a Bain-Ultra deck jaccuzi tub with a view of the Tybee Lighthouse. You'll be able to relax in this tub with the built-in fireplace providing a warm backdrop in front of you. After your bath, you can grab a pre-heated towel from the towel warming drawer incorporated into the tub deck. If you would rather use the walk-in shower, you will find a tile bench seat with additional hand sprayer. Finishing the bathroom are twin vanities and a linen cabinet including dual linen hampers. There are two further guest rooms equipped with queen beds, adjoining walk in closet and full baths. One of these rooms is equipped with a larger handicap accessible bathroom (Note: NOT fully ADA compliant) with separate tub and shower and also has a flat screen TV for viewing from the bed. The fifth room has two extra-long twin beds with full bath and walk in closet. The sixth bedroom is part of the recreation room- perfect for kids- it had four pull-down twin Murphy Beds and an extra large full bathroom. PLEASE NOTE: TYBEE ISLAND RECENTLY ENACTED NEW LAWS REGARDING OCCUPANCY WHICH NOW LIMIT MY HOME TO A MAXIMUM OF 14 ADULTS (15 YEARS OR OLDER), WITH NO RESTRICTION ON THE NUMBER OF CHILDREN. MAXIMUM COMBINED OCCUPANCY OF ADULTS AND CHILDREN IS 20. THIS OCCUPANCY RESTRICTION MUST STRICTLY BE ADHERED TO IN ADDITION TO ALL PARKING AND NOISE REGULATIONS. The kitchen is unequaled, with all the amenities you'd expect in a commercial kitchen including a 60' Wolf gas range with griddle, grill, six burners and twin ovens, a built-in counter top fryer and separate steamer, microwave oven, and plenty of storage space in two Sub-Zero Refrigerator and Freezers. An extra refrigerator is located in the pantry as well as a wine cooler/bar fridge in the kitchen bar counter. There you'll also find a large island with gourmet prep-sink, and vegetable washing hose, and an adjacent bar with beer & wine cooler, Keurig coffee machine machine and fresh squeezed lemonade press. You can literally have four cooks working in this kitchen with room to spare! To entertain your guests, you'll have use of the custom alderwood dining table that seats 12, and a wrap around couch in front of the 62" flat screen TV that seats just as many! (The couch cluster has two full-size pull out beds for extra guests or kids) The recreation room on the ground floor includes a full size slate pool table with ping-pong table cover, a fooseball table, and a poker table with bumper pool. The kids can enjoy a movie or plug in their X-Box or gameboy on the 50" flat screen TV along with a Sony Bluray player for your favorite DVDs or to access Netflix. For your trips to the beach we have two beach wagons, an assortment of chairs, coolers, and toys to last the whole day. Just when you thought you were done...a whole new vacation experience awaits you on the huge roof deck. You can relax in the 8 person Hotsprings spa tub, and soak in the panoramic views of the Tybee Light House, or watch ships come in and out of the Savannah River entrance with Hilton Head Island in the distance. There is an outdoor cooking counter with refrigerator, bar sink, 36" gas grill with internal smoker and rotisserie, and side burners. With the lights above the granite counter top you can enjoy this great amenity day or night. Adjacent seating for up to six persons on the dining peninsula. Finally, if you don't want to make the short walk to the beach for some sun, enjoy the lounge chairs on the sun deck area while you soak in the great Tybee weather! The house was great; we had 4 couples. Each having their own baths was perfect. A bonus was that this house is really well constructed; only the spouses of the snorers heard the snores! The kitchen is huge & unbelievably well-applianced. We were able to have several cooks working at once while another person poured drinks. The location is good as you can get to the beach with a 5 minute walk or so. We’d definitely rent it again!

Our family spent 5 days at Serenity and we all fell in love with the house and the area. With 10 adults and 3 teens/kids there was plenty of space to spread out and things to keep us occupied.
The view on the roof is amazing and we enjoyed walking to the lighthouse, beach and the Marine Science Center. The house is well equipped - seriously you don't need to bring any kind of kitchen or beach items, they have it all there for you!
We cooked most of our meals at the house, including Christmas dinner and there was plenty of space to have multiple dishes being prepared and cooked simultaneously.
The teens had their xbox and spent lots of time in the rec room playing games, pool, ping pong while the adults watched Christmas movies and played our own board games upstairs.
The beds are all firm but comfortable and the bathrooms are huge with lots of amenities you might not get at home.
Jonathan was excellent to communicate with and very quick to respond. This is a beautiful home and I highly recommend it for large groups.

We just left today and are ready to return tomorrow; this house is just perfect. In fact, we're talking about going again with some friends. Plenty of room, excellent floor plan, great kitchen and great room, this place has it all.

This was the perfect house for a get together with great friends. We each had our own bedroom, and there was plenty of room to spread out. Forget about going out to eat - the kitchen is well-stocked and big enough to have multiple cooks in the kitchen at once. It's a short walk to the beach, the lighthouse, and a great bar & grill if you do decide to go out. And, there's plenty of things to do at the house for those who decide to stay behind. Games, hot tub, sit on the porch with a good book and a nice breeze - you name it!

The house and overall accommodations were beyond what is mentioned in the listing. Even though it was a short drive to Savannah we spent most of our time enjoy the breeze and sounds on the porches. Overall, it was an amazing stay and all members of our party had nothing but great things to say about the property.

My daughter was married in Savannah on the 16th of September, and we gathered with extended family on Tybee prior to the wedding. Everything was just perfect, the house is just as described and we will definitely look into renting here again!

Rented this house for entire family of 18. House is amazing! So much room! A few minor issues but nothing worth writing about. We’ve been to Tybee every year for quite sometime now and this has definitely been the nicest house we’ve rented. There’s probably $40k worth of kitchen appliances!! Highly recommended! The owner was incredibly nice and communicated quickly.

The house was beautiful with plenty of gathering space for our family. The open concept kitchen was very spacious with everything you could want in equipment. All bedrooms had ensuite baths. Lots of beach equipment and fun stuff for the family. Very quiet neighborhood away from commercial establishments.

The house was spacious and in a great location for a short walk to the beach with beautiful views of the lighthouse and ocean.
Some of the amenities advertised were not operational ( I.e.,elevator and outdoor deck kitchen). It is a long four flights so the elevator would have been appreciated when carrying groceries, children, etc.
The property manager got back to us quickly and had plans for all issues to be addressed but after our stay.

My bridal party and I stayed here for the wedding weekend and this house was absolutely perfect! So much space to fit everyone, so it never felt crowded. We loved the rooftop hot tub and grill. All rooms were spotless and beautiful! Would recommend to anyone looking for a lot of space on this beautiful island!

We all loved the whole house and especially the kitchen was awesome!!!! Fantastic visit and thankfully that the owner shares his wonderful home. The decor is very interesting, loved the photos of the home being built stage by stage. So much to enjoy about the home and decor, very warm, friendly, inviting and comfortable. Oh and well stocked, very impressive for sure!!!! Thank you for sharing your home!!!

Eight of us stayed for a long weekend in February, weather was not great, but we did not care. Kitchen is FABULOUS!! Only (very small) complaint is lack of mixing bowls.

We had a great time. The weather did not cooperate completely , but found plenty to do. We enjoyed North beach and the pavilion beach. Our stay included Tybee Island’s St. Patrick’s parade and fun. Fort Pulaski was fun for the adults and kids. Some went to the wildlife park north of Savanna. We enjoyed the restaurants on Tybee. The day we left for home we had a good time in Savanna’s Forsyth park and the river walk.

We came in for the Tybee Runfest. It was perfect for our large group and we had an amazing time. The owner was wonderful at responding and helping us with anything we needed.

We stayed here for our first family Christmas vacation. The home was huge and beautiful! Jonathan provided clear and accurate instructions on how to check in. The only concern I had was the oven was not working. We had to utilize the grill which was fine, except it was freezing outside. This impacted us baking cookies and pizza with perfection. However, Jonathan did everything he could to accommodate us and always responded back to me within five minutes. I would love to stay at this house when it’s warm outside. Thank you for the serenity experience !

This property was beyond what we expected, and the communication from everyone one involved was great. We held a small work retreat and there was plenty of space to meet and collaborate while still having personal space for everyone to retire to. Will definitely book again should the occasion arise.

The garage had ample supply of beach chairs, Umbrellas, sand toys for children and 2 large rolling carts. There are also boogie boards for use. And beach towels.
The lighthouse can be seen from the house rooftop as well as the front yard (at night). The lighthouse and museum are walking distance from the house.
We were able to visit the small shops and local Tybee coffee shop on a walk with baby stroller. There is a small park in close proximity to neighborhood.
The house is set up for many amenities. Most are accessible but we did have a few disappointments with the kitchen and bathroom luxuries, such as jets in bathtub not usable or overhead rainshower not flowing great. It was disappointing bc we did not know ahead of time these issues and were looking forward to them since we don't have them at home. Even though the jets to tub did not work, some of us took a nice bubble bath with supplied bubble solution. The kitchen oven took a long time to preheat due to loose oven door hinge, but was usable. Plan to preheat oven way early for meal times.
We brought these issues up to homeowner and he was apologetic and stated these are new incidences and he plans to address them within next weeks.
He tries to keep the house stocked with necessities such as paper towels, travel size hygiene for any forgotten items, spices, storage containers for left overs, plastic wrap, and many cookware and tools options like blender, crock pot, panini press, etc. Refrigerator and freezer are large and there is a nice ice maker so we always had ice for water and drinks.
The large family room and TV was great for conversation and group TV watching. The large dining table accommodated everyone!
We utilized the game room for ping pong and the game/card table for board games. It is a nice area to utilize. I recommend bringing your preferred games (luckily we did) bc the stock was limited in choices.

unclean, garage full of junk, broken items
Your first impression after walking thru the front door is a big beautiful home but is sadly changed after having to wipe down greasy dirty counter tops, throw away filthy expired food in the fridge/freezer, pull out the fold out beds in couches to discover dirty moldy disgusting sheets (we had to double up kids in beds), discover a lot of broken items like foozball table, ceiling fans, deck rockers, game room items, one garage door operator not working, the other garage side so full of junk/construction things that a car couuldn't get in, wasp nests on deck, loose boards on roof deck, etc. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Thje high price does not justify it.

We stayed as part of a group of 14 moms and Girl Scouts and it was absolutely perfect! The view of the lighthouse alone would have been worth it, but the house was a dream! Everything was clean, comfortable, and well appointed. The master bathroom made me feel like I was staying in a five star hotel!

Amazing Property!
We had a great stay at this property. The location is fantastic and the house is beautiful. This was easily the best and most well appointed kitchen I have ever seen at a rental property. It is stocked with everything you could possibly need. The hot tub was amazing. The property manager was extremely helpful and responsive. We had a great stay and I absolutely recommend this property!!!

This home was beautiful and spacious. Our family had more than enough space to spread out, but cozy enough for us to gather together when we wanted to enjoy our family time together. It had every amenity we could need. All the linens, cookware, spices, and bedding were provided. They even thought of toothbrushes, toothpaste, flossers and shaving cream just in case you forgot to pack one. The beach was about a 7 minute walk from the house, so it was close enough for our daily walks. We enjoyed it so much that we are considering another trip next year. The owner was great at communicating with us and we really appreciated his desire to make sure his guests are satisfied. No complaints.. We loved it!
