We enjoyed our stay very much. Beautiful cottage. Fun outdoor shower! Fans are available but some days were warm without and AC. Cable and dvds available, the ability to play our own Netflix or Hulu would have been appreciated.

The house was very private, well-appointed and comfortable.
One of the bedrooms was not as advertised. Instead of a queen bed it was a full-sized bed. Also, while the cottage was set up to accommodate 6 people, the living room only had enough seating for 4.

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood. House is about 2 miles from Madeket and Eel Point beaches - within a bike ride or drive but not quite walkable with beach equipment. We never had any difficulty parking at either beach. Overall loved our stay!

This home is tastefully decorated in the common area that includes the living room & dining room space. The deck was a nice place to enjoy meals cooked on the grill or in the kitchen. There are fans in the house to create airflow during the hot/humid summers on the island.

We loved the location.. It was very private. We were a bit disappointed that there were no brochures regarding activities in the area. We only had our bicycles so no car and needed help finding things listed. My sister's bed wasn't made properly. The bottom sheet was just a waterproof mattress pad, the light was out in the bathroom, there was rust on the bathroom radiator and the shower liner in the upstairs bath was ripped. We realize it is still early season but the livingroom.windows were very dirty. When trying to do the dishes there was nowhere to put the silverware. The outside garbage pails were overflowing.
We had a wonderful time but struggled from time to time.

This was our second visit to High & Dry and it was as good as the first (with even better WiFi this time ☺️)! Kitchen was well stocked, bedrooms spacious, and beach gear ready for use with plenty of chairs, an umbrella, games and towels. Would definitely recommend!

Perfect for families
This rental was on a quiet street where our 4 year old could safely ride her bike. They had baby gates for the stairs, a pack n play, booster seat, and bath tubs for bathing small children. We loved the location and the quiet neighborhood.

Excellent location and lovely house
This location was perfect. It’s close to the beach, Millie’s, and not too far from town. All of the bike paths were easy to get to. The house had more than enough room for a family of four and a great backyard with privacy. We had a great family vacation and would definitely return.

We can’t say enough positive about this home. It had three generous sized bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms. The cathedral living room and open kitchen and dining room make for an easy, livable space. The area in Madaket is quiet and peaceful, but a quick drive to beaches and town. The house is well stocked with a full kitchen and all the linens and towels you need and is comfortably furnished. We adored this home and would stay again in a heartbeat.

We can’t say enough positive about this home. It had three generous sized bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms. The cathedral living room and open kitchen and dining room make for an easy, livable space. The area in Madaket is quiet and peaceful, but a quick drive to beaches and town. The house is well stocked with a full kitchen and all the linens and towels you need and is comfortably furnished. We adored this home and would stay again in a heartbeat.

Great location! 1.4 mile bike to Madaket Beach. Quiet, private, cute neighborhood. Grounds were gorgeous. Check in was easy, but there was a delay due to a plumbing issue--leaky pipe that got resolved the following morning. Disruptive, but no big deal. House well appointed for cooking. Clean on the surface, but bed pillows were disgusting! No liners between the pillow filler and the pillow case, and the pillow fillers were yellowed and some were badly stained. This was really disappointing, and probably criminally negligent, especially right in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic. Also, there was an any issue in kitchen that never got addressed. I notified the local property managers, Megan and Patrick, but never heard back either of these issues. Owners should change cleaners/management company. With all that said, we'd stay there again under cleaner conditions, it was such a relaxing, beautiful stay.

Charming cottage in quiet neighborhood
Our family enjoyed the bright, breezy location near a bike route and a path walking distance to the Nantucket Sound. The house is well equipped with a gas grill and an outdoor shower. The kitchen was also well outfitted with a good array of cooking implements and some basic spices and sauces. There is a small TV with DVDs and cable, and the WiFi worked well.

Charming and wonderful
Family of 4 (two adults and two children). We had a wonderful 4-night stay! The house is bright, very functional and has everything one may need. There is a sunny back yard surrounded by trees. The neighborhood is charming and this area of the island has lots of pine trees. A bike path and a bus stop are close by. We biked to Madaket beach every day.
The only comment is that for the second part of our stay, WiFi was not working which was a problem for us.
