Perfect mountain condo for gathering and entertaining a large family or group. The kitchen is open to the living area and has bar seating. Condo has a mountain decor with numerous photos and art work of the beautiful Vail Valley. The Primary bedroom has a king bed and a en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom has two twin beds and a full bath, the third bedroom has a King bed and the fourth bedroom has a double bunk bed. On second floor there is also a twin size sleeper sofa bed. Short walk to lionshead gondola. Only a few flights of stairs down. Easy access to local restaurants. Nice large outdoor hot tub and pool. Property manager was responsive to requests. Would stay here again.

This condo was just as described. If you're looking for comfort and convenience stay here! Just 5 minutes from the gondola, with convenient covered parking and a ski locker, you can't beat the value and quality. I've stayed at Westwind before so I know to expect a slightly dated appearance, but I'm always very pleased. The condo was super clean and well stocked. I wish there was a larger "spaghetti" pot and frying pan to accommodate cooking for 8, but there were plenty of other pots, pans and utensils. Like so many other older condos, the electrical outlets aren't set up for all the charging we do these days. This condo could benefit from some plug adapters that allow more plug-ins in each outlet. That is all so minor compared to how great this condo is! And the view is great from many windows. Make sure to try Blue Moose Pizza just steps from Westwind!

Staff was kind was unit was in need of some tlc. Fans not working along with tvs made the initial visit tough. The upstairs loft area struggled to stay under 82 degrees during our whole stay.

Excelent Condo for a great vacation, we have stayed at the Westwind several times but never in this unit. Everything was good upon our arrival exept for some issues with the heat control in one of the rooms, a leaking kettle in the kitchen, and some issues with the blind, we reported these details in the morning and everything was fixed so we enjoyed very much our stay.

Great space for 2 families! 4 bedrooms plus a loft bed. Living space was a little cramped for 8 but overall worked well. We skied 5 days. Excellent lockers to store skis off the garage. Short walk to the gondola. Overall we were super excited to find this place!

Vail team at property were great. location - awesome Condo FF&E was all dated/ old. all handlesand hardware on drawers , doors, etc. were lose or broken. bathrooms were tiny bed sheets , bed and pillows were terrible

We appreciated the location and that it was close and or walkable to our weekend activities. The front desk was super nice and I’m sure if we had any needs they would have been very accommodating. We liked the bedroom/bathroom situation for our family.

Great location!
Convenient location with easy walk to gondola/lift. Arrived after hours and property manager had called earlier to leave lockbox instructions. Easy check-in and everything at property was as expected. Perfect view of the mountain slopes from the living room! Would recommend stocking wood rack on deck since the only thing we missed was a nice fire after skiing each day.

We were two families sharing the 4 bedroom condo and there was plenty of space. Great location (150 meters to lift). Easy garage parking. Community gas grill which was nice. Assigned ski lockers. And a heated pool with hot tub. I would highly recommend.

Unit was 93 degrees inside when we arrived
While the property management people were excellent and dealt with our issues immediately, we still had to spend the first night with temperatures inside the unit in the high 80's, after hours of opening windows and adjusting fans.. A heating unit was on and would not shut off. Without A/C it was miserable. The maid service was very good and the location is good. There is not a washer/dryer in the unit. The listing should read "community coin operated laundry" - which would be more accurate. Also, there is a metal spiral staircase up to the two top bedrooms which wasn't as clear as it could be and was a little treacherous for toddlers. As per usual in Lionshead, highway noise is terrible. But we found the property personnel very friendly, helpful, and apologetic about the heat situation.

Girls weekend
Place was great! There were 9 of us for our annual gathering. The condo has a full kitchen and 3 full baths which was perfect for all of us. Was walking distance to the gondola and many great places to eat and have a drink. Vail village was a 10 min shuttle ride away for more shops, dining, and drinks. I definitely would stay here again.

Clean with a beautiful view of Lions Head. Definitely would stay again. Staff extremely helpful. Parking not a problem. Walking distance to Lions Head and Vail Village. The unit was well maintained.

Outstanding value, fantastic location
Sure, the Westwind is not the Ritz. It's not even the Marriott, if you're after chain-level quality. But its location alone makes up for any shortcomings. Walk to Gondola / restaurants & steps from the in-town shuttle (not any of those red/green shuttles which are infrequent & have farther to go). Beautiful view of the fancy hotels (which, in turn, have views of...the Westwind) and adequate hot tubs & pool. Town of Vail, please do not demolish this facility!
