About this condo rental
Situated in Gulf Shores, this lovely condo for £539 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. We are the Lighthouse west corner penthouse! We are located on the 19th floor (accessed via 3 mid-building high-speed elevators-building has 5 elevators total). Enjoy spectacular, panoramic Gulf, beach, sunrise, sunset, & city views from our enormous west corner wrap-around balcony. There is no one above you, but the big blue or star-filled sky! Features of this beautiful condo include: *2 master suites w/king beds & direct balcony access (w/Smart TV's, ensuite bathrooms & direct balcony access). 2 queen bedrooms (w/Smart TV's and ensuite bathrooms) *Large double-door bunk room that sleeps 4 w/ Smart TV and Blue-Ray player (bathroom across the hall). *Condo sleeps 12 in beds and 2 more on the queen sleeper sectional sofa. *Dining table seats 8 (plus 6 at kitchen bar). *Fully-stocked kitchen for all your cooking needs. *Separate wet bar (stocked w/a variety of plastic drinkware). *Key-less entry system for guests’ safety & convenience. * Pool towels, and if maintained by previous guests there should be 4 backpack beach chairs and a few other folding type beach chairs & a large rolling cooler for guest use. These items should be located in our condo's "beach supply" closet located in the condo (plenty of room to store your beach & pool items in this large closet or in the condo's large foyer). As for the Gulf-front Lighthouse complex, it is the place to be in Gulf Shores. Our building is very wide and thus has a VERY WIDE beach directly behind the building (lots of room to spread out:). Amenities include: *2 outdoor pools (one is zero-entry-great for young children) *1 heated indoor pool *2 large outdoor hot tubs * Dry sauna *Fitness center *Community BBQ grills * Ice and vending machines NOTE: Parking passes are currently $50 per car (as of March 1, 2024) but subject to change without notice. Pay Lighthouse HOA upon arrival by credit card only. The Lighthouse is w/in walking distance or a short drive to many area restaurants and shops (0.6 of a mile from The Hangout). You can view the local on-the-beach favorite, Sea-N-Suds from our balcony. Close by family-fun activities include dolphin cruises, fishing charters, a water and amusement park, miniature golf, and go-kart tracks. OWA Amusement Park, Gulf Coast Zoo, Tanger outlet mall, and world-class golf courses are all nearby, as well. The Wharf, located in nearby Orange Beach has many shops, restaurants, and an amphitheater. Short day trips include, Ft. Morgan where you can take the ferry across Mobile Bay to visit the Dauphin Island Estuarium Sea Lab and the Bird Sanctuary and Pensacola, FL where you can visit the Naval Aviation Museum (home of the world famous Blue Angels). Spacious! This was our first family get way where we all stayed together. We had four families totaling to 12 guests. I was worried about the privacy of each family which was not an issue at all! We did a lot of cooking together and didn’t trip over in each other. The condo was equipped with pots, pans, dishes, and contained all the utensils we needed! Impressive. Beautiful view with the largest balcony space thus far. Highly recommended!

We stayed in this unit with several family members of various ages. The unit was very clean, comfortable, the view was amazing, and it really did have everything we needed. The pools are small for the size of the complex but that’s certainly not the condo owners fault We definitely will book here again.

Property was just as it was described. Lots of room for our 13 guests. Location was great and in walking distance of restaurants and shops. And the dryer in the condo was full sized and actually dried towels/clothes in one cycle which is great when you have that many people in and out of the water and showering each day. Property management was very responsive too.

My wife and I along with 2 other couples had a great stay at the penthouse Mar 18-23. It was very spacious and the sunset and sunrise views from the balcony were amazing. The 2 master bedrooms facing the gulf along with the multiple openings (2 Master bedrooms and living room) to the deck were really nice. We enjoyed opening the sliding door a touch at night to hear the waves!
Only recommendation is perhaps buy a better non-stick skillet. :-)
We would definitely rent this place again and will recommend it to any of our friends that are headed down to Gulf Shores.

We loved our vacation at Lighthouse PH4! It was big enough to hangout and enjoy company while the kids were in the back area! It was the perfect home away from home for a week! We would definitely go back! Plus side our 1 year old started taking steps here so it will always be a special place 🙂

Our stay in this penthouse condominium was absolutely wonderful. For our group which included grandparents, adult children, and grandkids (ages 10-16) this 19th-floor condo provided plenty of room to sth out, unwind, and enjoy. Everything we needed was there, a properly stocked kitchen and a huge collection of beach toys, chairs, and umbrellas. There’s also a very nice cooler. The beach was great and there is a beach chair service if you want. We took advantage of the service in conjunction with the chairs in the condo. The kiddos fully enjoyed the toys. There are tons of things to do nearby and great places to eat. I recommend everyone try the Fresh Off the Boat restaurant down the road in Orange Beach. The State Park pier is a short walk down the beach and pier fishing is available, great entertainment for the little ones. The photos in the listing show exactly how the condo is furnished and equipped. The ice maker on the condo refrigerator is not designed for large groups but there is an ice vending machine on the first floor near the pool. The beds are comfortable with nice linens and there are lots of bathroom and beach towels. Everything was just as we would have wanted it and we would stay again.

Wonderful Condo!
Our reservation and check in process was flawless. The property manager does an EXCELLENT job in preparing you for your stay!! Down to listing all the kitchen appliances and amenities that are available for you to use!!
The kitchen in FULLY stocked!
CONS:
1. there was TOO MUCH. Every nook and cranny in that kitchen is full of “stuff”. I would highly suggest that the owners go through the kitchen and get rid of anything that old, triples, warped. A good de cluttering/organizing would be helpful.
2. The condo looked clean upon arrival but our socks quickly told a different story. Plus whoever stayed there before us has very long hair. The master bath counters and floor had hair everywhere🤢
3. The beds and pillows in both masters could use replacing. My husband actually drove to Walmart and purchased pillows and a mattress topper due to terrible back pain after night one. We did not leave those new pillows and mattress toppers. Ha.

1. The Congo is HUGE! We had more than ample space for our family to spend an entire week together and not feel cramped.
2. The condo had tons of beach items for us to use!!

4. LOVE the carts that are available in the parking garage. Great for unloading car with luggage and groceries!!

Amazing views, excellent condo
We cooked most of our meals in and the kitchen was well stocked and ready to go. The condo was beautiful with amazing views and convenient access to the beach. No more than 15 minute drive from every excursion we went to. We would recommend it!
