About this condo rental
Located in Hilton Head Island, this attractive condo for £259 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. This lovely, fully-furnished 2-story villa is a 5-minute walk from the beach. The Hickory Cove swimming pool is just a 2-minute walk from the villa. Situated on the 18th tee on the Robert Trent Jones golf course, you will have a beautiful view off the back deck. You are just a short distance to the clubhouse and tennis center. There are balconies with 3 of the bedrooms, and a large deck off the living room with a gas grill, patio table and chairs, and a great view of the 18th fairway. Wi-fi is included and there are several TVs. The living room area offers ample seating with a large sofa and love seat and a great view of the golf course. The living room is equipped with a TV, and it also includes a bathroom with a spacious walk-in shower. The dining area is adjacent to the living room and has an excellent view of the TV or golfers teeing off. The kitchen is adjacent to the dining area and has all of the expected amenities. The laundry room is also located next to the dining area. Our villa has a few bicycles, beach chairs, beach and pool accessories and games. The Master Bedroom is located on the 1st floor and has a King-sized bed and a private bath. This room has a large sliding glass door leading to the outside deck and offers a wonderful view of the golf course. There are two and one half bedrooms upstairs. Each of the two "proper" upstairs bedrooms has a pair of queen-sized beds, a private bathroom, a private balcony deck, and ample closet space. The third remaining "half" bedroom is a smaller room with a bunk bed, featuring a full-sized bottom mattress and a twin-sized top mattress. This room is suited primarily for children. There is enough room for 12 people to sleep in beds (no sleeper sofas). We have arrangements with Riding Tigers Bike Rentals to obtain discounted pricing on weekly bike rentals for our guests. They will deliver free of charge. Also we own three bikes that are available for you to use free of charge. Our family has owned this beach villa for over forty years, and we hope you will enjoy it and care for it as much as we do! Overall this please means some attention. From replacing many burned out lightbulbs and a dryer that doesn’t work, to an upstairs bathtub that drips and leaks and is almost broken off, and other things in between, we found out with some TLC, this could be a more appealing place. Additionally, the Cleaning service could do a more thorough job of making sure the dishes in the cabinets are put away, clean and checking all drawers for any cupcake wrappers that we found in the bedroom. Great proximity to the beach.

With everyone checking in at same time our property was not ready until 5:00 pm. The only other complaint was the rudeness of other guests who allowed their huge dog in the pool with about 12 other guests.
Our property was as advertised and the location was great! Enjoyed our week.

We had some issues checking in as the cleaners took until about 1 hour after check in time. They had an unadvertised pull out couch, but it wasn’t advertised as it was in terrible condition. Under the couches looks like it hasn’t been touched for a while.
With a little tender care, this would be a great rental. There are a lot of unadvertised extras, but you have to look around. The location is great and the beach and general store are all within walking distance. Love the addition of the bikes.

The location was great. The walk to the beach was as described. The condo is a little dated. However the unit was clean, and met our needs. The owner added his personal touch and included thoughtful little amenities such as ziplock bags. I will definitely stay here again.

Our group of four seniors had a great week of golf in perfect weather. We really enjoyed down time on the back patio watching golfers hit drives off the 18th tee box.

We were staying for a wedding and the condo was a great location. Close to the beach, general store and all the areas you need. What really put it over the top for us was our oldest daughter had to evacuate from Tampa due to Hurricane Ian. She had a pet that she couldn’t leave. Robert made an exception for her to stay with us, which meant we had our daughter safe with us while the storm tore through Florida. That was something that he didn’t have to do but the fact that he did shows what kind of guy he is, it was a big stress relief for us and most helpful!!

Nice place, easy access to the beach and pool. Bikes and beach supplies were there for us to use. Plenty of towels provided. We will definitely re-book our stay again there.

There were several areas throughout the condo that looked as if that hadn’t been cleaned in a very long time. We really enjoyed the proximity to the beach and to locations on the island. Obviously the low price of the location should have been a red flag to me about the quality of the condo. I will say that the owner was very nice and helpful whenever we let him know about the issues.

The dining furniture was not ideal but fit our family. Overall, a better overall cleaning, a new coat of paint and a couple new items/appliances would have gained this a slightly better rating. The size and option of the bunk room was a very nice amenity. Being in Palmetto Dunes is hard to beat, and the walk to the beach and pool is very easy with 3 younger children. The closet outside was well-stocked with toys and beach chairs also. Another reasonable Palmetto Dunes option!

Golf Weekend
Property was a little dated but served our purpose. Bed's were comfortable and the shower pressure was amazing. The beach was a very short walk and the condo was right on the golf course. Will definitely stay again..

We had an amazing time staying at Robert’s villa in Hickory Cove. 5 minute walk to the beach and in the back, there is a beautiful view of one of Robert Trent Jones Golf course holes. Bed was very comfortable. Robert was a very attentive host and helped answer any questions we had very quickly. Highly recommend!

Great area
We stayed this past weekend in the condo for my dads 70th birthday celebration. The condo sleeps a lot of people and the best are very comfortable. The location is amazing, so close to the beach. And they give you tons of towels which is nice. The condo is very outdated and quirky (but I grew up in old houses so the quirks didn’t bother me). But you should know that it is like stepping back in time when you rent this condo. Carpet from the 1970/80’s an 8track player, old pictures on the wall and the sliding doors don’t lock they have wooden sticks that you lay between the door and the wall to prevent them from opening. Most of the bedroom and bathroom doors don’t really close. It was just our f family so it didn’t bother us but if you were going with other this might be a deal breaker. Over all the condo is very nice…just old.

We had 2 adults and 10 teens! The condo was the perfect fit for us. We had plenty of room and enjoyed our time at the condo and beach. The owner was the nicest person to work with during our stay. He made sure we had everything we needed. The added bonus to the condo is the three nice bikes to ride through the beautiful neighborhood. It was only a 5 minute walk to the beach. I can’t say enough about the beach. The beach was huge and the teens had a great time playing all their games. We will definitely rent from Mr. Dye again!!!!

I tried to talk with the property owner regarding the plumbing issue that caused black mold in thr bathroom. The bathroom was out of order 3 days and we recieved $300 for inconvenience but the remainder of the house had a big mold issue thay o brought to his attention with no recourse

Great Stay
We had a great stay! Communication from the host was excellent. Property is in a great location. It was clean but could use some updates. The kitchen is stocked well with utensils, pans, and dishes needed to cook. It’s close to the beach and walkable to many of the Palmetto Dune amenities. Overall we had a wonderful time!
