About this apartment rental

Ideal for families on vacation in Paris, very comfortable for 2 couples and 1 or 2 children, or a couple with 3 or 4 children, whether the children are small or young adults. We are located between 2 metros, Louis Blanc and Stalingrad. It is easy to reach all the tourist sites. I take special care of my hosts. I like to welcome you myself when I can, pick you up at Eurostar if you are with small children, or offer my services or advice for Paris, or operating details for my loft. The flat with the glass façade and the covered patio was fascinating! The large living room with the kitchen area has a loft character and is very cosily furnished. We really liked the work area with the old hairdresser's chair. A big thank to Paul for looking after us via WhatsApp throughout - despite his absence due to travelling - even when it got very cold in Paris. Thanks also for the great recommendations regarding restaurants (Brasserie Jaures!), which also suited our tastes! All in all, a successful offer for a wonderful stay in Paris!

From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed into our very own little oasis. The apartment is very spacious and has everything you need as well as clear instructions, maps and tips for all the favorite local eating/shopping spots. We were close to a lot of train stations for the metro which is handy as this was the best way for us to get around in Paris. The apartment complex felt very safe and Paul (our host) was so friendly and accomodating to all our questions and needs.
Great place to stay!! Thanks Paul...We'll be back!

Our stay in the artists loft was amazing. Paul, was such a fantastic host and really made sure that we had everything that we needed and answered any and all of our questions. The loft itself is very unique, beautiful, artistic while also having everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We have never had such an attentive host before and this made our first trip to Paris extra special.

Spacious accommodations! Paul was very responsive and always available if needed. Great bakery on the corner. Canal is a fun area to hangout. Would definitely recommend this place to others.

We enjoyed this lovely apartment during our recent multi-generational vacation in France. The location provided easy access to the Metro along with plenty of local shops and restaurants close by. The quiet courtyard was a lovely place to unwind after busy days of sightseeing. The owner was incredibly receptive and answered all communications promptly.

We stayed at Paul's amazing apartment for 6 nights over Spring Break.
We were 4 sister in their 60's, one daughter and one grand daughter, having a reunion in Paris. The apartment was the best part of the entire trip!
It is exactly like the pictures but even bigger than expected. We slept 2 to a room and with so many women the multiple bathrooms were such a treat. From sitting out on the beautiful courtyard for morning coffee to cooking dinner and eating together in a kitchen that has EVERYTHING! Even a salad spinner! Everywhere you look there is something interesting to look at, it really couldnt have been better.
The location is close to everything! We bought croissants and baguettes every morning at the corner bakery, bought wine around the corner and a grocery store is just a few blocks away. There are tons of resturants within a very short block and multiple subway lines got everywhere we wanted to go.
Paul was the icing on the cake. He was such an incredible host!!! He was always available, gave us so much advice on how to get around. He has labeled everything in the house and has the most handy book put together, it was like having a host and a tour guide built in!
He left us croissants, fruit and the most amazing bottle of champagne to celebrate our reunion.
If I could give 10 stars I would. It was such a perfect way to experience Paris!

I can't speak highly enough of our wonderful experience with Paul and his lovely home. We stayed for two weeks and knew we'd need space to have our times to decompress. Paul met us as soon as we arrived and gave us a tour of his lovely home. Taught us how to work the machines, lights, etc. He even made sure we knew where everything was in the neighborhood. The home was fully stocked with breads, fruits, all necessities, and champagne for New Year's! We enjoyed playing games he left and listening to music on his Bluetooth stereo. Sitting on the covered patio was so lovely...he even put up a Christmas tree for us to enjoy. I've never experienced a more warm reception. The flat felt completely safe behind two huge metal magnetic doors and is very conveniently located near a metro. My favorite stop- Montemarte is only two stops away. Paul checked on us several times to make sure we were OK and had everything we needed. He was always available. Will definitely use this beautiful flat again when we return. Thank you, Paul for you wonderful hospitality! ❤️

Very spacious, quaint apartment tucked away in an inner quiet courtyard. Great for families. Close to metro stations making it easy to explore Paris. Good restaurants and the canal within walking distance.
Paul was a wonderful host. He was there to greet us with croissants and wine on arrival. Checked in on us a couple of times during our 12 day stay to see if there was anything we needed. Helped arrange our taxi and was there to see us off to the airport on our last day with more croissants.
If we come back to Paris would not stay anywhere else. Thank you Paul, for a wonderful experience.

I have stayed in 40+ properties all over the world over the last 10 years and by far this is the best property I have ever stayed in. The Owner, Paul, is very attentive and is readily available to answer any of your questions about the loft or Paris in general. Almost as soon as we booked his loft he reached out to us and began the logistics process of checking in and getting acquainted with his property. The day we arrived he greeted us himself and gave us a tour of the loft. And the loft itself, amazing! Better than what is shown in the pictures. Paul made a very helpful binder that shows you were the good cafe's, wine stores, grocery stores, bakers, etc. are in the area. Paul makes every effort to ensure you enjoy your stay in his loft. If you planning on staying in Paris and want something outside of the main tourist areas, this is your place! I will definitely be renting this loft again.

Loved the uniqueness of this property. The art was interesting. It was so spacious and great for families with kids traveling in Paris. Paul was an amazing host and welcomed us upon arrival and departure. The plants inside and outside make you feel like you are in nature while in the middle of the city. It was surprisingly quiet in the apartment despite being near Metro and busy streets. We easily got around Paris from the place within 20-30 minute Metro rides and took many walks to the Louvre area (about 45 minutes). It was great for our unit-my 76-year-old father, 2 kids ages 10 and 11, and me. Could not recommend this place more!

Former Parisian, we have been renting places in Paris twice a year for the past 6 years and this is by far the best apartment we have rented so far. The pictures are great, but the place is even better. The living room is huge as are the bedrooms. The decor is unique and tasteful. The neighbours are friendly and the patio is amazing. There is even a neighbour's cat that comes to see you when you sit there.
Please do not rent this place when we'll need it, we want to be able to come back!

We enjoyed the stay very much. The terrace is really a green idyll. We also had a lot of fun with the table football.

My family has stayed at Paul's loft twice in the past 3 years, and we love it. The loft is a special home, a fantastic place to drink wine, have huge french (carb-heavy!) breakfasts, and explore Paris. The pictures accurately represent the location, it is two stories with a very pretty garden, a great living room, three comfortable bedrooms, and a bath tub. The details throughout the home are wonderful -- hanging out there is its own relaxing and cool Parisian experience. Paul himself is an excellent host, he makes sure we feel welcomed and is very responsive. We take the metro everywhere, and also are able to easily walk to the canal area. We've stayed both during Christmas and new years, and also during the summer, and will be back.

We are a family of six with four teenagers. We had a great week staying in Paul’s home. Paul was very helpful and friendly and the loft is very clean and quirky. Everything you need is on hand with the metro being really close. This was a really cool place to stay and not touristy. We would love to return. Thank you Paul!

We stayed in December 2018 over the Christmas period and absolutely loved every minute. Paul was a fantastic host, meeting us on the street as we arrived and offered great local information on where to shop and eat. The apartment it itself is spacious, with very high ceilings, large rooms and uniquely decorated. All in all an amazing find in Paris. Plenty of metro stops nearby to get to the city center which is a 30-40 min walk.

We can't say enough good things about Paul and his home! It is in a great location (close to 2 main metro lines, grocery stores, cafes, etc.), clean, spacious, and comfortable. We stayed here for a month and felt like it was our home from the first minute. Great kitchen to make meals out of. Comfortable beds to sleep in. Space for our 3 kids to enjoy. THANK YOU PAUL for helping to make our Paris adventure amazing!

Near Stalingrad station metro. Paul met us on arrival and gave us a tour and told us about the apartment and area. Our cab driver told us it was a bad area but we never felt unsafe walking around even at night. Just have good city sense and you will be fine
