It was close to the airport and offered a free shuttle service. The bedroom was spacious and very comfortable.
I had dinner but the potatoes were cold. The waitress very kindly said she would speak to the chef and bring me another plate, but the second lot of potatoes were also cold. I then asked for chips instead of the potatoes, and they were perfect.

We had a horrible experience at this hotel. We were a group of three ladies getting ready for a family function. We had to call housekeeping and reception a number of times to get conditioner which should have been refilled before we checked in. They completely ignored our calls and were so unhelpful and unprofessional. I went directly to reception to deal with the problem. I was extremely angry as they were stressing me out unnecessarily. The staff were all extremely unhelpful and unprofessional. The lady in the breakfast area was abrupt and sarcastic. I really didn’t like her attitude! I have been staying at this hotel for many years but standards have really slipped. I would not rate this hotel as four stars!
The only thing I liked was the location!

Honestly we stayed one night as we were leaving Dublin for NYC the next day. The property was lovely and I wish I had more time to spend.

Room was very good. The beds were extremely comfortable which made for a good night’s sleep. Appreciated the blackout curtains.
Dinner menu. It was pretty obvious that this is really a transit hotel with there unlikely to be longer stays. I don’t know if the problem is with your purchasing department or with your kitchen staff, but the food was not to the standard expected. Breakfast was ok, with a wide selection of dishes, most rather tasteless (sausages in particular had no taste). However, my evening meal was, to be frank, awful. I was given fish and chips, where the fish had not been drained at all and was pouring out oil over the entire plate and soaking the black napkin on the plate, and then the white napkin I placed it on. I complained, and was pleased that the waitress immediately removed it and another attempt at the dish was made for me. This time it was drained well, but rather than enjoying the hearty taste of your Guinness batter, I found the whole dish to be tasteless. Basically I spent 20 euros to be able to pick at some chips, which I rather resent. Any prestige hotel that can’t produce a decent fish dish should consider rethinking their “chefs”.

I was very surprised to find out that none of the lights would work when I checked in. I called the front desk and told them about the problem and then went to dinner downstairs. When I got back to my room #143 still no lights. Again another trip down to the front desk where I found out that I had to put my key card in a slot to get the lights to work. Then I called the front desk to tell them that housekeeping forgot to give us washcloths but was told that the hotel doesn’t supply washcloths.

Staff very friendly and helpful, good breakfast, perfect location (easy access to Dublin airport with the shuttle and direct bus to Dublin downtown)
Hotel not maintained:
We experienced a major leak in the bay windows of our family room, it was literally raining in our room !
We were relocated in another family room with a leak as well but not as important as the first one, and towels on the floor to absorb the water ! It is far from ideal with children including a two-year-old but it was the only one available as the hotel was sold out.
It was certainly an exceptionnal heavy rain outside but the floor below the windows was already damaged in that room, which means it was not the first time for such a leak. Windows have not been repaired but family rooms are still proposed.
There were other rough repairs in the bathroom - this hotel is definitely not well maintained.
Sadly did not feel like value for money considering the cost, but friendly and helpful staff who offered us assistance and compensation.

Impersonal, a hotel catering more for business people and typical airport traveler needing to overnight.

We did not get to stay there. We were charged nonetheless. What happens was that our plane was delayed causing us to miss our connecting bus. The hotel is the only one available with airport shuttle service at the time as advertised on booking.com. we found out after booking that the shuttle bus has stopped operation at the time that we book and resumes again at 5am, 1hr before our earliest bus out. This is misleading and dishonest information. The Maldron hotel next to it has a 24 shuttle bus service so we assume that Hilton is the same since it did not show this exception.
The hotel should have warned us at the time of the booking since the hotel has this shuttle information and also know that this is the last minute no cancellation booking. The help desk did graciously arranged a taxi ride for us however the taxi company texted us 4 tines that their service is not available at that time and request us to contact the hotel back. Sufficient to say that at 2am in the morning, with bad international phone reception and standing out in the cold airport waiting for taxi, our party was on edge. We tried to cancel and was told to contact booking.com since this is a 3rd party booking and the hotel would not help. We did and never get any positive response from either party, as if no one is at fault. Any means of contacting the hotel yield the standard policy reply with no concession for hangling special case. We arrived at the airport at 1:30 am and our next bus is at 6am. Spent 30 min waiting for taxi. We were charged for 2 rooms and not being able to stay for basically 5 hours.
