Room was a fair size, very comfortable bed and great shower. Food in the bar was excellent and all the staff were so friendly. Good location for our needs

Room needs updating, bathroom small and floor needed a good clean. Breakfast wasn't great but staff were exceptional

They had a great spa and swimming pool and the room was ok the beds where comfortable.

Has a ridiculous self check in and check out styem which made staff being on reception pointless, They didn't have certain foods when I ordered, and there was rude and not so welcoming staff in the restaurant and bar area that made you feel uncomfortable and unwelcome, The rooms need better radiators due to not being very warm.

The smell of urine in one corridor The smell of smoke in another corridor The smell of mould in the last corridor that lead to our room. Only corridor that smelt clean was the walkway past the indoor pool. Our room smelt musty, in poor repair (dust everywhere, peeling & stained wallpaper, broken blinds, misty blown glazing, mouldy sealant around tiles. Some tiles broken. We even had a resident false widow nesting in the bathroom extractor fan that we were unable to remove) that left our 8yr old too scared to use the toilet. We filled in the survey sent to us the day we arrived. And received and have still received zero response.

Breakfast was excellent with 2 very friendly and helpful ladies serving.

On arrival after a very long and tiring day we were met with 4 computer terminals at check in...if this is the future then God help us. We were a large party with 7 rooms booked so it took ages to get them sorted, what the hell happened to a friendly receptionist like the 3 we'd had on the previous nights of our 4 night trip! Luckily there was a very helpful man stood there to "guide" us through the process....but why couldn't he just be the receptionist ??? We had to pay for car parking which was something we weren't expecting in this day and age, it wasn't in a city centre after all, but couldn't get receipts for our 3 vehicles...wonder why?!?!? There were plenty of facilities if you're sporty but all at an extra cost. Food in the grill/bar was adequate and a little expensive....staff were arguing loudly with each other which was a little distracting to say the least.

The room was awful. The sheets were marked with dirt. The bathroom was horrible. It didn’t look like the images. There was damp on the walls. The bed was very uncomfortable

Bedrooms Needed refurb,Lights moved and tilted downwards, blinds had broken slats ,kettle didn’t work until tried other plugs in room. So wiring may be faulty . No where to chill only tables and chairs in the eating areas , had drinks and bottle of wine with meal and nowhere to go Afterwards to chill and drink it ,found an area with a couple of settees in there ,where breakfast was served but empty and freezing cold , so nowhere to feel relaxed and have a drink. Ended up going to the room to watch tv , not good .

Good location for us. Pool looked amazing but did not have time to use it. Bed was comfortable.

Room was a little tired. No bedside table on one side of the bed. Curtain hanging off rail.

I found that the rate paid through Booking.com could have been better.

the staff. be warned. I’m still waiting for a receipt for charges to my card. I need the receipt for records and submission for tax purposes. despite calls and emails ti to them they have ignored my request. to this day I have no idea what exactly was charged on my card. they have charged whatever they wanted and it have no idea what the breakdown is or even seen an invoice.

Very comfortable bed

The staff was nice and friendly.

You could not take the shower head of when showering. There was no plug socket near the bed to charge phone. The first room we went to smelt really bad we asked to move we got moved but the beds was not comfortable at all the room was not warm , there is only one side table near the bed. there is no phone to call the reception you have to walk down to the reception.

I like pool timing

Our room was very small and 2nd is was in the basement I been with my mom she had trouble with stairs.
