Was geweldig!!

I really liked this place. The environment, contact with nature and Channy's attention. I recommend taking the tours they offer, you won't regret it. Overall it was a fantastic experience. We cannot forget that we are in the jungle and don't have the comfort of a hotel and.. many good things are happening :)

Suzanna and Channy are great hosts; we did a day tour with Channy to Matalpalo and saw monkeys, sloth, macaws, pelicans - & more plus swam in waterfalls and at a beautiful beach. Just four of us plus guide and so good. Night tour also special. Very relaxed at property; big open air dining / sitting area and use of kitchen. Room very basic but clean and adequate ; cold water only ; fan on wall & mosquito net provided though not needed. Free good wifi.
You don’t have to have 4wd to get here but I think it would be challenging for your suspension if not! Don’t expect luxury - very basic. Make sure you have cash to pay for accommodation and tours - bit of a way to go to puerta jimenez if you forget!

the owner offerd to cook for us becous we traveld with public transport, and the bus arived realy late (8pm). beside that, she also fixed a taxi for us to pick us up at the busstation.
the guided night toure is realy awsome, and the guide is not going to let you go with out you being able to see animals like: caimans, red-eyed tree frogs and glass frogs.
this guarantee and the good price for the toure makes it absolutely recommended.
beside there being no wifi, there was also no netwerk servis. it dint border us to much, but it’s someting to keep in mind.

The place where the guesthouse is located is stunning. You will be emersed it the middle of the nature at the Corcovado gates. The outside kitchen can be used to prepare your meals. We explored the area on our own and got really nice suggestions. The host was friendly and we found out a lot :) The room was basic. There is no hot water.
The place is for sale and maybe the owner attention is not 100% focused on the little things. Not a big deal though.

The owners husband is the guide. And he is so amazing. You must take one of their guided tours. Book the big house with the pool, worth the exstra money for private garden and more space

I stayed at Los Mineros for 14 days straight. This place is so amazing!
Once a friend and I were just hanging out on property waxing philosophical and a squirrel monkey jumped out of the high bamboo into a tree right in front of us. Then the rest of the troop, about 18 strong, filtered through playfully. Because it sits so close to Corcovado National Park, you get so much of the wildlife traversing through the property.
Suzanna is so accommodating and gracious!
She knows the area and the local people so well she is always able to steer you in the right direction.
Channy is mind blowing as a guide!
If you let him know all the things you really want to see, and reminders are welcomed, that man will put the effort in to find it for you.
He made 4 attempts to find me a poisonous dart frog and found one on the 4th go.
Most importantly, he not only knows where to find most things, but will show you as well.
I have to say both meeting who Channy calls “Papa”, the biggest tree I’ve ever seen and climbing 50 ft up inside a Matapalo tree were the 2 Greatest Experiences of my adventures at Los Mineros!
Both were powerfully spiritual and a profound reminder of how magical nature can be.
So, I strongly recommend Los Mineros Guesthouse!
No complaints.

Everything was perfect: the location, the cabinas and of course Suzanna and Shani’a company. Highly recommend the day hike in the jungle 😊

Awesome location close to Corcovado national park so a lot of animals literally in the garden. Very friendly hosts who offer interesting tours and helped with everything like bus times or where to go next. We planned to stay only 1 night and because we liked it so much we ended up returning and staying 6 nights and doing a lot of tours. Calm place, well equipped kitchen, cozy A-frame house with relaxing noise from a flowing river behind it. The only problem we had was the 99% humidity which makes it impossible to dry clothes after washing. There is a laundry service in the town which turned out to be well invested money. Otherwise definitely the best place we stayed so far in almost 2 months costa rica and we will definitely try to return here. We felt very close to the nature and the country also because we learned a lot about the life in CR, animals, trees and plants and also about the history of the place from Suzanna and Channi. Because of his commitment I saw my first terciopelo during the night tour which was an awesome encounter. Thanks again and we are hoping to see you two again!
The only problem we had was the humidity which has nothing to do with Los Mineros. Shower was cold but you could change the word to "refreshing" after hiking in the heat of the jungle.

Convenient location to enter Corcovado park entrance Tigre
Nearby trail to get to la Bolita and to El Salto
The owner was kind and gave us good suggestions on the places to visit
Tiny swimming pool to refresh
Structure not well mantained: not properly cleaned (rooms and toilet)
We couldn't sleep properly at night because we were picked by a lot of insects given that the mosquito net were not properly fixed and had a lot of holes
Room very small and in general we found it overpriced considering the quality of the structure and services available (for example breakfast not included and wifi not working at all)

Suzanna, who has owned Los mineros since 2001, ensures that you are properly educated regarding your recreational options to best enjoy your stay with a smile on her face. The cabinas are beautiful and clean. I would highly recommend a stay in this area for anyone who wants to see the rugid rainforests of costa rica in their purest form. Thank you so much suzanna!
Be aware how remote this area really is. I relied on the single soda for one meal a day but they were closed each time I passed by. Plan accordingly!

Awesome place to connect to nature and immerse yourself in peace and quiet. Little bubgalow a big terras and a private pool, perfect!
The hosts really went out their way to make sure we had a great time. Be sure to book a tour with them, worth every penny!
Bugs do come in the room, just be prepared that that is a possibility

The staff were very kind to us and even gave us a ride to town.
They say they have wifi but when we were there this was not true, it only worked for about 10 minutes a day.
Also, the cabins themselves were not sealed from the outdoors so we were sleeping with bugs.
If you do not have a vehicle expect to pay around a $30 cab ride to get there.

Nice remote location, nice views on jungle in the back. Nice to be able to cook. Very clean and safe. Great history: this was miners' bar, brothel, jail. Some features are intact.
Overpriced for what it is. No functioning wifi/internet. Mosquito net on windows but plenty of unscreened gaps in the walls and between wall and roof. We kept the fan on to reduce mosquitoes and other bugs, but the super loud fan defeats the purpose of a quiet night in/near the jungle.

Waking up in the jungle.
Lack of mosquito nets, poor food

They recommended a great guide to see wildlife- Carlos
Restaurant was not open and wasn’t told about until after cancel date. Four smelly dogs on the property- poop everywhere.

Absolutely wonderful place, like a piece of paradise in the jungle!
Channy was amazing and gave us an incredible and perfect day! Loved the stay and would love to come back!

We took the Jungle House, wich had a basic but functional kitchen and its own private bathroom, with hot water, from which we could enjoy nature. This house sits at the back of the property and feels very private. Dos brazos is a very green town, but up till 10 pm you can hear far away conversations happening in the street or a motorcycle, but you will wake up to the sound of toads and birds. In general all rooms and huts enjoy beautiful gardens all around the property. Suzanne is an excellent kind host, which makes an amazing chili sauce. We found the Matapalo tour recommended by her to be excellent. Finally, Dos brazos is a rural town which used to have a stong gold mining industry, and now is shifting to nature tourism as a lively hood.
The only downside was the really high price for the breakfast, at almost 12 usd I found it a bit high for 3 kinds of bread, eggs, jam, orange juice and coffee.
