Perfect comfort to escape a heatwave !

4 days in this hotel saved me from the awful July’22 heatwave - the AC functioned superbly and was located optimally so it did not blast directly onto you; combined with the crisp, lightweight 100% cotton bedding - ( including plastic-free mattress covers !!!!! ) , a room of generous proportions furnished with period furniture, comfortable mattresses, a marble bathroom, excellent wifi, pet-friendly management and great breakfast, means I will return! Excellent central location, great value for money.

Its a historic building and an old grand hotel so the elevators are not modern or fast - a small thing and a reason to enjoy the spectacular grand staircase!

Pleasant stay in heart of historic Genoa

The location was fabulous. The staff was great, very helpful. Our room was spacious.

Upholstery on sofa in our room was stained. Coffee at breakfast was terrible. Long life milk was used rather than fresh. pastries and croissants were pre-packaged, not fresh.

Nonostante alcune cose, ritornerei volentieri

Struttura molto bella e curata, estremamente pulita e in zona centrale. Palazzo storico caratterizzato da un’architettura molto affascinante e da una scalinata centrale unica. Staff molto cortese e sempre sorridente. Anche la colazione molto varia e con ottimi prodotti. Bagno grande e fornito di tutti i prodotti necessari. Ho apprezzato molto che ci fossero anche gli accappatoi

I letti non sono comodissimi e da un cinque stelle mi sarei aspettata la scelta dei cuscini. C’erano più cuscini, ma tutti uguali, nessuno in memory. Il divano letto con materassino da 10/15 cm e rete a molle un po’ cigolanti… va bene per un bambino peso piuma, non per un ragazzino o un adulto

Menzione speciale solo per il personale, molto gentile ed attento, impeccabile devo dire.

É una vergogna che un hotel 5 stelle nel 2024 no abbia camere insonorizzate. Con tutto chiuso si sentiva tutto dalla strada. Nonostante la zona centrale, veramente rumoroso e pieno di gente che urlava di sera per strada. Come se non bastasse la mia vicina di stanza ha tenuto la tv a volume livello sordità tutta notte. Alle 5 disperato ho dovuto informare la reception, non ho chiamato prima solo per non svegliare mia figlia. Un hotel che fallisce nella mission principale (farci dormire) per me non può stare sul mercato. Il personale mi ha detto che avrebbe rimborsato parzialmente il pernottamento, li ringrazio molto se accadrà ma onestamente non cambia la sostanza. Zona centrale ma parcheggio impossibile se non a pagamento. Servizi non da 5*. Letto appoggiato su un sostegno più stretto della sua larghezza, senza topper e non da 5* (camera superior). Colazione discreta ma assolutamente non da 5*. Brioches industriali e poco varie. Succhi non buoni. Nessuna preparazione espressa ma tutto a buffet (uova incluse). Non ho assaggiato il salato. Ci sono hotel 4* che cucinano egg benedict, croque monsieur, etc. Non capisco quale sia il criterio delle 5* nel caso di questo hotel. Troppo caldo in stanza ed impianto di raffrescamento non azionabile in inverno, un altro assurdo. Accessori in bagno assolutamente non da 5* (no spazzolino e dentifricio, no rasoi, no kit per cucire, potrei dilungarmi..). Non ci tornerei nemmeno se mi pagassero. Spiace perché i ragazzi sono davvero magnifici. Mi hanno fatto passare la voglia di stare a genova e mi hanno fatto fare la domenica all’acquario in modalità zombie per il mancato riposo.

Bellissimo hotel in pieno centro

Struttura bellissima e ben organizzata. Stanze spaziose e molto pulite.

Tendaggi pesante che attirano polvere. Insonorizzazione che, per quanto buona, non riesce ad isolare completamente dal rumore del traffico sotto l'hotel.

Fin de séjour gâché par les problèmes de parking

Chambre spacieuse, couchage très confortable. Salle de bain très bien équipée et emplacement parfait en centre ville.

La réception de nuit désastreuse et très antipathique notamment pour le parking de nuit. Manque d’informations sur les horaires du dit parking. Plateau de courtoisie pas à la hauteur d’un palace.

Cinque stelle, mille attenzioni. Bravi!

Ragazzi, parliamo di un Hotel a 5 stelle in un palazzo storico della città di Genova: sarei rimasto molto seccato se vi fossero state criticità. Il mio soggiorno è stato decisamente impeccabile, a partire dell'accoglienza dove mi è stato proposto il servizio di facchinaggio anche se avevo un solo trolley piccolo; hanno preso la mia autovettura per parcheggiarla nel loro garage per poi farmela trovare davanti l'albergo alla mia partenza. Al ricevimento sono gentilissimi, in particolare la signorina Chiara che mi ha dato anche utili consigli circa il soggiorno ed i luoghi da visitare. La stanza davvero bella, ovviamente completa di tutto il necessario. Colazione decisamente sopra la media con prodotti freschi e quelli confezionati sono di primissima qualità. Non avendo pranzato/cenato non posso esprimermi sul ristorante ma credo sia altrettanto all'altezza. Ritornerò sicuramente. Grazie. Paolo

Hotel Spettacolare

Sono stata in questo hotel due volte per necessità lavorative, sia a febbraio che poi di nuovo a settembre. Hotel spettacolare, stanze bellissime, spaziose e accoglienti. Servizio e pulizia impeccabili. Posizione in centro comodissima. Un merito anche al personale della reception, davvero professionali e gentilissimi, avevo paura di aver dimenticato qualcosa in stanza e si sono tutti impegnati subito per ritrovarla con disponibilità e comprensione. Alla prossima occasione per cui dovrò tornare a Genova ritornerò sicuramente in questo hotel. 5 stelle meritatissime.

Ausser dem Frühstück hat mir alles gefallen

Sehr schönes Ambiente, stilvoll, gute Lage im Zentrum

Mir hat das Personal im Frühstücksraum leid getan. Zu wenige mussten zu viele bedienen. Darunter hat die Qualität des doch eher teuren Frühstücks gelitten.

Royalty

A hidden gem in the middle of Genova. Not only are the aesthetics fantastic (stairwell in particular), but the service and attention to detail are outstanding. There is a bar and a rooftop (and indoor) restaurant. The food is excellent. If you are traveling and want royal treatment, you have found your stop.

We were on the top floor and it it was quite warm, but given the outside temperature and height of the ceilings, we were just fine. This would definitely not deter me from returning.

It was exceptional experience to stay in such exceptional building. Location is excellent, in the heart of Genoa and attractions can be easily reached. The hotel staff exceeded our expectation and were super helpful. Valet parking is a big plus point. The room was elegant as all other facilities.

Tastefully decorated, palace converted into hotel

We stayed in junior suite. Absolutely spacious with beautiful views. Hotel is in prime location!! Excellent shopping steps away from the hotel. Tastefully decorated.

Beautiful Hotel with very friendly staff

The staff was very professional and very friendly. Thanks again to Giovanni to change the dates of arrival without any problem. Very pet friendly ( but our dog is very nice and quite too 😉😍) The rooms are very beautiful. Nothing used, all well maintained and nicely decorated. Nice breakfast. Great location within walkig distance. If you go to Geneva stay there !

Ok stay in a great location

Grand hotel with great location in the city. Room clean and comfortable. Main staircase stunning.

Room features were limited (e.g. no coffee/tea making facilities). Hotel was seemingly very busy over a public holiday. Was disappointed to be told on arrival that I couldn't add breakfast the next morning as it was fully booked, I would have expected a hotel of this quality to be able to accommodate staying guests for breakfast.

our bartender was fantastic! we really enjoyed our evenings sitting in the bar enjoying our cocktails. we loved the little treats that were served with the drinks.

This is such a beautiful hotel with spacious rooms and in a great location. Close to the metro stop for easy access to either of the main train stations.

everything was impeccable. The staff in particular were super friendly and accommodating, and the room was very elegant. The location was also exceptional in the heart of shopping and history and architecture this far exceeded our expectations.
