Our two families had a wonderful stay over the holidays. The home is beautiful, spacious, clean, well stocked and really comfortable. We've stayed at many places in Truckee over the years and this was by far our best experience. Would definitely stay there again!

It was relaxing stay. Home is gorgeous and most importantly, clean. Home is equip with everything you need and many more. Heated flooring is impressive. It would have been perfect if it has a jacuzzi and heating in "the cave". Kids didnt get to stay or play in the cave since it was freezing but overall, its a nice home and would book this home again the next time we go to snowboarding.

We traveled from Hawaii because our kids wanted to experience snow. This cabin was absolutely perfect for everything we wanted. It had plenty of space and was super comfortable for everyone. The kids had a blast playing in the snow outback, plenty of room for sledding.

Great time. Only one problem, it was listed as wheelchair accessible. It was difficult for me. A step in every door, couldn’t get my wheelchair through the bathroom door. It worked out anyway. Thanks for having us

My family- including my husband and I, our kids and grandkids (ages5-15) stayed in this beautiful home for 4 days and had the best time! The home is gorgeous with plenty of room for all of us! The kids loved the cave room and playing in the snow! Thanks so much Rob! Hope to stay here again!

My family & I couldn’t have been more pleased with the Kramersens’ home! Our three year old grandson insisted we should all be living together in what he thought was our new home!
Extremely comfortable, very spacious & all the conveniences of home In a beautifully decorated environment. Lovely inside & out!
My only criticism was that there was no air conditioning which proved not to be an issue until smoke & ash from the Dixie fire prevented us from opening windows for ventilation. Even knowing this, we all agreed we’d stay again in the future.

The house and property were perfect for our group of 6 adults and 6 young children. Clean, well apointed, and homey. The perfect kitchen for our big cook ups. The "cave" space for the kids was a huge bonus. We'd definitely be back again!

The Kramersen Cabin was perfect for our annual 3 family vacation. We have bounced cabins for years, never finding one that checked all the boxes. With 3 families and 6 middle school age kids. this finally was the perfect fit! The cabin is even better in person than the pictures portrayed. Great layout and kitchen , well equipped, perfect play space for teens, clean, use of sled toys , close to Northstar.

The house was exactly as described, very clean and if we weren't in a pandemic, big enough for two families to comfortably enjoy. It was minutes from Northstar ski resort, a great place for both novice and experienced skiers/snowboarders. We had about 8" of snow while we were there and the snow plows cleared the driveway and streets as soon as the snow stopped falling. We thoroughly enjoyed the sledding right outside the front door! Truckee is a quaint town full of character and felt very safe during COVID. We look forward to going back after the pandemic to fully enjoy all that the area has to offer--it was exactly the getaway we needed.

We stayed here in the summer - was an awesome place - very comfortable. Great decks with a nice grill. Kids had an awesome time playing air hockey. Fire pit was great as well - best to bring bug spray however - mosquitoes were feasting. Would definitely stay here again.

Had the opportunity to stay at this property over the new year holiday in 2015-2016. The property is exactly as it was listed. The owners were very attentive and communicated very quickly over e-mail. I strongly recommend this vacation home and look forward to staying there in the future.

My wife and I rented this wonderful home for several days in February 2015. Our grown kids also made the trip and we all had a comfortable stay. Everything we needed and location was excellent. Only bummer was there was no snow at the house itself. Mother Nature decided to take a break from the snow pack in 2015. We had envisioned a snow filled vacation with an abundance of snow at the house for the younger kids at heart to play and build a snowman. After all it was February! However, we did explore the area around Truckee and were able to satisfy their need for sledding and a few snowball tosses. We hope to make this stay and annual event and would recommend it to our family and friends. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home!

We had a group stay here for a weekend in late September and the house was perfect! The kitchen is set up very well and we made good use of the grill. The house is cozy and had a lot of space for our group. We would definitely stay here again!

We rented this house with another family for a week of skiing. It was fantastic! We had a great time skiing at Tahoe Donner which was just minutes away. It was close to the Truckee, which made it easy for grocery shopping and little excursions. And this house had everything we could want: a big kitchen for cooking, a great family room for hanging out, a game room, lots of space, sleds, washer/dryer... you name it... I highly recommend the house and my interaction with the owners was and easy. They were delightful. Thank you!

We had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful home with 4 other couples and their children. The home had every amenity one could ask for and a kitchen with every thing needed for a gourmet meal. The house was perfect for kids with the downstairs offering ping pong and hockey and a great hang out for the kids. The home is close to Truckee for entertainment and necessities. The home is also close to lakes for summer sports and ski resorts for winter sports. Once there, you will never want to leave. Kris K.

When you walk in the home you feel like you are at home. This is truely phenomenal getaway. Everything in the home is top notch from the dish's to the matress you sleep on. The lay out of the house is very open and accesible. You can not go wrong with this rental. A+++
