the hotel was lovely and clean and the staff were fab, but it was outrageously noisy.
The walls were terribly thin and although the hotel was nowhere at capacity, I was placed in a room which was next to another in use. The room next to me had different ‘guests’ coming and going all night long and, needless to say, I got no sleep.

Room we was put in the first time was lovely we paid the same price for a different room and was awful dated and not very comfortable.
Dated, hard bed, TV was to small and well to far away from sofa chairs or bed!

Clean and good size rooms. Staff were friendly.
Offered to change our room but couldnt swap our twin for another twin.
No warning to there being a party until 2am in the function hall. Our room was directly above. Made driving 6 hours home the next day very challenging.

the beds where comfy and the room was very spacious
when we arrived, the room stunk of smoke as if someone had been smoking in there, all of us said this too! the telly didn’t work at first, we ordered a family room but only got two cups for drinks…we was going to a concert the night we stayed and the receptionist said ring the late night number displayed outside and someone will let you in, we was stood waiting half an hour as the number we was ringing was going straight to Tescos mobile, we had to wait till another customer walked by to let us in and it was raining and cold and late!

The room was a good size and there were 4 beds in the family room so plenty of space for us 3 friends. There was an ironing board and iron in the cupboard and tea-making facilites so perfect for us!
There were only 2 mugs and 2 glasses in the family room - should've had at least 4.

convenient to the tram lines & easy to find.
on our particular stay (27th November) we were placed next to a function hall with blaring music until 1am, thus unable to get a good nights rest.

Staff were friendly and welcoming, on arrival i was told we had booked a different type of room, so showed my email confirming what i had booked. Manager assisted us and reassured us, we also had rooms on different floors and not close together, my friend has a guide dog and is unable to see, they kindly moved her downstairs on ground floor to room opposite mine, both doubles and at no extra cost, i was truly grateful, rooms very clean, bed was comfy and we were made welcome, my 8 yesr old daughter was estatic about being able to watch youtube in our room. Only downside was how far away from city centre they were but that was down to me.
Next day when we went to breakfast i was told breakfast was not booked and again had to show my proof this was frustrating after having the initial error with the rooms. Again i felt i had to explain myself, think communication within could be improved on. Also if we are shown the breakfasts cereals are in a different area to the cooked breakfasts which is buffet style, for a lady with visual impairment this could have been thought about but breakfast was nice

I have stayed at this property on several occasions, it is very convenient in terms of my reason for visiting Manchester. The hotel rooms are generally clean, comfortable, parking is free and the staff are mostly very welcoming and professional when dealing with any issues.
On this occasion the room I was assigned was well below standard, paint was peeling of the wall in several areas of the room, there was damage to the tiles in the shower cubicle and a poor attempt was made to fill the damage. Staff was able to change the room originally assigned.
Awoken between 2 to 3am on one of the nights by alarm sounding for around 2 minutes, no attempt was made to explain the cause of the alarm. After making enquires on checking out, I was informed that someone was smoking in their room.

my stay was peaceful and I was more than comfortable with everything
my door did not lock. meaning anyone with the card for the room could enter.

Breakfast ok
When we arrive at around 2pm the receptionist gave me the room was so noisy. As tit is located above the bar I guess. and the night they had event at the ground floor. The music was so loud. It made us came back to change the room which I cannot have the twin bed I booked before.
I found it was.very rude , Around 10.56am, a staff suddenly opened my door without knocking my door.. When she saw us just aplogised then later on a lady knocked my door again to chase us to leave.
